Brain and his team installed a new gas combination boiler and took away my old one. This was in a cupboard in the kitchen and quite a tight fit. They did an excellent job, and sorted out any other issues with my radiators very promptly. Very good communication, replies to messages quickly and were very helpful in making suggestions. Very tidy workers, friendly and helpful. He gave a detailed quote outlining what work was involved and was very professional.

These gents installed the boiler in question that needed a reset. During a cold snap it went down and with no fuss, at the end of another job, they turned up and fixed our boiler and told us how to resolve it in the future as well. Not only that but they'd been on the phone at the other job trying to sort the problem remotely. All that with a person on the other end of the phone when we needed them and with no complaint that we were chasing. Came back to a warm house. Thanks enormously guys.

Brian and team have done several pieces of work for us: Solved a roof leak, cleaned the gutters, and repaired the water damage in the kitchen Replaced and painted an external door Sanded and oiled a wooden garden table and bench Replaced a shattered glass balcony, and cleaned up all the glass Replaced a cracked shower tray without breaking any of the surrounding tiles. They have also fixed numerous small leaks and other minor problems. All the work has been completed to a very high standard and with minimum fuss. Brian is always helpful and really kind to come quickly to help in an emergency.

We've used BriMac a few times now. Most recently on fitted shelves in our study. The work was carried out on time and Brian and his team were flexible to work around our working-from-home requirements. The shelves (and decorated room) look great. In the past he has also installed a new boiler (in 2019) in a previous property - which is all working fine 2 years on.

Complicated Boiler replacement in an old mansion flat

A family friend referred BRIMAC to me. I had been without hot water for 8 weeks with an old Keston boiler that was leaking gas and had to be turned off. Brian came in with his team and assessed the property, gave a quote, ordered the parts and the work began. It was a far from straight forward job due to the location of the boiler in our flat but Brian and his team’s experience shone through, navigating every hiccup with experience and attention to detail to reach the desired outcome. I was kept in the loop every step of the way, and the finish was very neat. They are extremely professional and agreeable in manner, and we will definitely be using them again soon.

Three months after he connected our new washing machine, Brian has still not come back to complete the job and do a second job (leak under our sink). Despite many attempts and contacts we are no further forward. This is unsatisfactory service, and we would now sadly like to take back our initial rating.

Brian McIntosh and his colleagues replaced our faulty boiler. We had limped along for years with our boiler and it definitely needed replacing. Brian offered advice on the best make and model. His suggestion was far from the most expensive and he was very adaptable and willing to alter pipework and make other changes required to meet our needs and spec. There were no problems only solutions. The work was carried out on time, neatly and on budget, with only a modicum of upheaval. His time-keeping and communication impeccable and it was a pleasure to have him and his colleagues working in the house.
