Gav was recommended by a builder, he came to our house to view the kitchen and talk about the work involved, which companies he would recommend to buy kitchens from, etc. He sent a quote, which we accepted. I bought a kitchen from Howarth Timbers and Gav fitted it for me. He took out the old kitchen, neatly so I could give away parts I didn't want on Freecycle and reuse some cupboards in the utility room. Gav project managed, organising when the kitchen was to be delivered from the suppliers, and for an electrician and plasterers to some work. Gav was in touch by text organising when he would start each day, or if there were any alterations. He was neat and tidy at the end of each day clearing up the mess and taking his tools away with him. I trusted him to work in the house alone as some days I had to go to work. He was lovely to have a chat with while making a coffee. He understood how disruptive not having a kitchen was so he planned the work so we could use the utility room sink until the kitchen was ready then he fitted the utility with some of our old units and a new sink and tap. He cut and fitted the Minerva worksurface really well. He also laid our click laminate flooring. We had to wait for a new door to be fitted but when that was done he came back to finish off edges and lay the flooring up to the new door and put a skirting board back on. I would totally recommend Gav, he knows what he is doing, he has an eye for detail, he is friendly and trustworthy to have in the house and he tidies up each night!

Replacement of kitchen and utility room worktops, sink, taps and extractor chimney. All work carried out very professionally by a pleasant and helpful trader.

Gavin has laid engineered oak flooring throughout our downstairs and has also been back to box in pipes, fit a splashback and end panel to complete our kitchen renovation. His work is always of an extremely high standard and I was very impressed with his precision and attention to detail. He is very easy to work with, I would definitely use him again!
