Bumfords have just finished a large project that involved the installation of a multi-fuelled fire that linked up with the oil central heating system. This was a bespoke design that really showed the extensive skills of the whole team. The project from start to finish was professional, friendly, encouraging, very tidy and done with out any fuss at all. They took extra care and time to get the system exactly how we wanted, explained everything and would come back within the same day if I was concerned or wanted to talk about anything. The are an holistic team that did a fantastic job that you would not be able to find anywhere else.

Bumfords have just finished a total overhaul of our heating system and did a fantastic job. The team and the service has been exceptional, right from the planning stages through to the finish. Each of the guys have been brilliant, particularly Phil and Keith but also Graham who stayed late a couple of nights to get stuff done. We would also like to thank Alex Gregory for overseeing the job from start to finish and really listening to what we wanted and needed. The whole team were thorough, methodical and very accommodating considering they had me, the children and the crazy dog to contend with through most of it! They were also been extremely tidy, making sure everything was tidied away at that end of each day and leaving the house in a really good state when they finished. A big thank you to all of them. I would highly recommend them.

We first got to know Bumfords when we needed to have our previous boiler serviced after being let down by a different company. We were so impressed by their customer service and knowledge that we continued to have the annual service with them. At the end of last year our very old boiler began to let us down so Alex came to see us to discuss all the options available to us regarding a new system. He listened to what we needed from our system, including a request for a new shower. He fully explained what type of system and shower would be suitable for us, including researching the boiler which would be compatible with our TADO system. This was followed up by a detailed quote. We have just had the central heating system and shower changed and we are extremely delighted with the completed work. The engineers were on time, hard working, everything kept clean and tidy and we were kept informed of every aspect of the work being completed. This is a firm which can be relied upon to give an excellent, cost effective service and we would highly recommend for their customer service and for listening to their customers. It is truly an excellent firm putting the customer first and we would have no hesitation in using Bumfords again for all our plumbing and heating. Thank you for a job well done!

Put simply, I use Bumfords for everything to do with gas or water. Why you may ask, well I measured good practice on quality, service and cost. Quality: 1. They have fitted boilers for me and my in-laws. Quality is exceptional, but more importantly they look to provide the best solution for the customer 2. It's a small thing, but they wear shoe covers, and always tidy up after themselves 3. They provide annual servicing for my tenant property. I know the job will be done on time in full. No hassle. Service 1.In the last two years, I have had cause to ask them to help me with emergency leaks at very short notice, and they have delivered everytime. (Guys thanks again) 2. No job is too big or too small. They keep their promises. Cost 1. Competitive. Remember you'll always remember the quality & service long after cost...See my previous note on shoe covers. 2. I had the whole of my ground floor fitted with Polypipe underfloor heating in November 2016. From review of needs to quote to booking in and doing their fitting, Bumfords did a fabulous job! They kept me updated all along the way-including daily text messages to say when their plumbers were on their way to my home and also accommodating a change in their schedule of work after our builders let us down and we were forced to delay them. All plumbers were polite, courteous, tidy, didn't take the mickey by not taking long lunches or breaks (unlike my builders!) and stayed until the job was done instead of downing tools at 3:30 each day!! They let me know the planned work each day and stuck to it. Couldn't ask for more!! They restored my lost faith in tradesmen! Couldn't recommend them enough.

Boiler change arranged by me for my elderly parents who live 50 miles away. Bumfords were very helpful and understanding they kept me fully informed and provided a very competitive quote. They were sympathetic to the age and vulnerability of my parents. The work was of a high standard and they cleaned up after. They took time to explain how the programmer worked.

Top quality work and they do exactly what you asked for, will not try to sell you a system you do not want. They give you a quote and stick to it.
