Cambridge Solar is an established solar panel and battery installation company. The company is owned and run by me, Owen Morgan. I set Cambridge Solar up in 2009 and since then we have installed 100's of high-quality solar panel systems across the UK. We install both domestic & commercial solar panel systems for both the retro-fit & the new-build markets. Me & my experienced team pride ourselves on helping our customers to find the best solution for them. I have been very fortunate to have been involved in the renewable energy industry since 1999. Before starting Cambridge Solar, I worked for several leading renewable energy companies & received a BEng from Warwick & a MSc in renewable energy from CAT in Wales

12 Solar panels supplied & fitted with associated interfacing items - The pre/post-installation customer service was excellent and work was carried out cheerfully, professionally and on time ... and it all works faultlessly. This is a company that cares about its reputation and goes the extra mile to ensure customer education and feedback. It is also provides a very slick, professional, skilful service when it comes to the actual installation.

I sought quotes for a solar panel installation and invited Cambridge Solar to submit a quote. The sales representative provided a competitive quote and I felt he responded honestly to what queries I had. They eventually installed two banks of solar panels at my request. The work was done on schedule and the site was left in a tidy state. The electricity generation since has matched estimates they had provided. I would be happy to use their services again if I required another solar panel installation.

Cambridge Solar fitted 11 panels, and throughout the process went smoothly. The service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The panels have produced as predicted - indeed our first full quarter reading was so high our electricity company required a photo of the meter reading. One slight problem occurred when I changed my router, and the on-line tracking stopped, but Owen came and sorted out the inverter with its new password. Highly recommended.

We had a 9.6KW solar panel installation which was built in to the roof and then the surrounding area tiled. The installers were very efficient and got the work done quickly and accurately placing the inverters in to one of the loft areas and then wiring in to the mains electricity. Since the installation it has been very reliable with only one problem when the meter stopped working. This was replaced under the guarantee with no problem. The output from this is better than the original projection and we expect it will have paid for itself in 8 years.
