Second time using CHAPS. Had a leaking gas fired combination boiler and after assisting over the phone, they attended within hours to resolve the problem, taking time out to make sure all sorted. Then carried out full service as advised. Highly recommend this business.

Ian carried out my annual boiler and fire service recently. I have used CHAPS now for many years whether for annual servicing or other gas/plumbing issues. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ian is reliable, cheerful and always quick to respond to messages.

I feel very fortunate to have found CHAPS to assist me with a faulty heat exchange unit, hot water tank and heating system. Edinburgh plumbing engineers are usually very slow to assist indeed but Ian and John went the extra mile to help at every stage of my enquiry and in such a kind and friendly manner. I have now booked them to return for my annual service and will look forward to their on-going assistance.

I came back from a visit to family to find my boiler wasn't working. It was a Sunday but I emailed anyway. That evening I received a reply to say Ian would be out the next day. He showed me how to top up my boiler if the pressure went down again and explained how and why pressure drops in a boiler. Excellent, prompt and friendly service again. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Friendly, dependable - they came when they promised to - and knowledgeable. Very good at what they do (they installed the replacement boiler and power-flushed the radiators last year), and they charge a fair price. .
