Steve and team completed 3 bathrooms for us earlier in the year and we were delighted with them, so when we were let down by insurance contractors who refused to complete work as it wasn’t like for like, we asked Steve if they would take the work on. The work involved replacing a cloakroom, walls and floors in 2 rooms, tiling the hallway, replacing wooden floors, fitting underfloor heating and decorating all rooms (all work to remediate flood damage). The team did a fantastic job again and we are really happy with the result. As before, the house was left clean and tidy every night and cleaned up beautifully at the end. A lovely team to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

CBS did a great job renovating our bathroom. They were diligent, tidied up at the end of each day, gave great advice, provided a quality finish, communicated well and were really flexible. We plan on using the team again in the future!

Steve and team have given us three fabulous bathrooms, replacing a family bathroom and two en suites which were all leaking. The tiles we chose for the showers were individual hexagonal tiles which were difficult to work with - Simon was meticulous in setting out the pattern and making sure it flowed properly around the corners. The result is fantastic. The whole team were friendly and helpful, even helping make good decorating issues from other tradesmen outside the bathrooms. They ensured all surfaces were covered, cleaned up meticulously each evening and did a very thorough clean as each bathroom was completed (thanks Ted). A brilliant team that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Steve, arrived when he said he would (8am) make sure all areas protected and carried out the upgrades. Over the past 30 plus years we have carried out numerous bathroom updates and wish we had known about Steve and his company then. Can’t praise him or the quality of his work high enough-just excellent- site left spotless every night even had his own hoover and all within budget. The finished work was perfect in all respects and would recommend him to anyone, in fact we have rebooked him for another bathroom improvement and look forward to having him back very soon. Steve and the team at Chigwell Bathroom Services were superb from the first meeting to discuss the job, until it was complete. The finished product is excellent. The guys were courteous, trustworthy and professional in all their dealings with us. We were able to give the keys of the house to Steve and go away whilst the work was done, safe in the knowledge there would be no issues. There were no surprises. The quote did not change and the job was started on the agreed date and finished in the timescale Steve said at the outset. They were extremely tidy, ensuring the house was cleaned each night. I can see why Chigwell Bathrooms are Which Trusted Traders but why are they not Trader of the month? From my experience they should be every month! They are EXCEPTIONAL. I truly believe they provide a unique service that can’t be beaten. After no success with the big stores (hidden costs, terrible reviews & poor products) we selected Chigwell Bathrooms to replace the ensuite. What a difference! Truly the most professional people I’ve met, incredible attention to detail & very meticulous. Susan sent a detailed program together with their estimate. Although detailed it was clear to read, with no hidden cost. I felt this was outstanding value. Susan and Steve gave us a list of suppliers, again what a difference in the quality of products, Steve organised everything which took the weight off us. The 1st day Steve & Jack arrived & covered everything with sheets for protection. During clearing the ensuite Steve discovered a leak which had caused the floor to rot & needed replacing. The extra work was done at a fraction of the cost had I sought another contractor. They went out of their way to get everything right, e.g A valve needed replacing which would of cost us £150, Steve went to the other side of London to get the part for £20. Nothing was too much trouble. The end result, a stunning en-suite. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I was blown away with them so much so I’ve booked them to do the bathroom! For now, we will miss having them around! Ray.

At the estimate stage, Steve was informative and knowledgeable and was the only contractor to provide a detailed straightforward estimate. Consequently there were very few extras at the end. He is well organised and keeps to his start and finish dates no matter how late he has to work. Other trades are programmed before commencing and the whole process was seamless. The quality of the finished work was exceptional and the small problems that arose were quickly solved. Steve and Jack arrived at 8.00 a.m. every day and on day one they covered the floors and stairs with protective sheeting. They started by stripping out our old shower room and three layers of tiles from the walls and all the rubble was taken away on a truck. The schedule over the next two weeks for the installation of plumbing, electrics, plastering and tiling worked very smoothly. Chris the tiler did a fantastic job that transformed the space. Steve and Jack were very easygoing but also very well organised and they made sure that we were clear about what they were doing at every stage of the job. They were also happy to answer any questions that we had, sort out any small problems and always checked about the measurements and positioning of the fixtures and fittings. At the end of the job all the packaging and other rubbish was taken away on a truck. They were very careful in the way that they went about the job and made sure that everything was tidied way at the end of each day and more importantly put the toilet back! So we can’t thank them enough for doing such a brilliant job on our new shower room. Sue in the office was also very helpful and even came to see that everything was going to plan. Steve and Jack took out an existing shower screen and replaced with a new screen and door combination. The quote they gave me for the job was extremely reasonable (having been given another quote for four times as much) and the care and attention to the job was the same as I would have expected for a much bigger and more valuable job. I really appreciated their professionalism, craftsmanship and honesty and will be recommending them to family and friends.

Chigwell Bathroom Services, Stephen and Jack, took great care with our house when they fitted our new shower door. Friends had recommended them for their quality work, professional manner and cleanliness and I was not disappointed. They covered our floor from the front door to the bathroom and wore shoe covers while so doing. They cleaned the area thoroughly when the installation was finished re-masticking edges and even removing our old limescale so the bath/shower looked great. The work was completed swiftly and all the rubbish taken away. Great service and at the agreed price.

Great, quick job for an excellent price. Another builder badly let us down and left us with a leaking toilet, shower and hand basin. The bathroom was completely unusable. Chigwell Bathrooms did some amazing key hole surgery on our bathroom and now it is full functional. All done and dusted in less than 4 hours.

As a Chartered Surveyor I have been looking for a company like this. Knowledgeable and Professional in listening to what we wanted to achieve. Detailed quotation, honest answers to when the work could be carried out (no wonder they are booked up so far in advance). Dust sheets laid every morning and removed every evening. Stair carpet protection in place throughout the job. Excellent workmanship throughout and no silly extras on the final invoice. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

I have no hesitation in giving CBS the highest review I can. This is what makes them stand out from the rest: real attention to detail for a top quality finish; very tidy, protective mats throughout hallway and stairs, Jack hoovered and mopped down every evening, so no dust around the place; Steve has tons of experience, he knows what is doable and what isn't and you can have confidence in his work; Steve also has a good eye for design, he suggested ideas that improved the look. CBS also work with other top quality professionals eg Chris the tiler did his bit to create a really good finish. Ours was a big job, 6 weeks in total, so it really helps that they are friendly, reliable and are happy to answer your questions. I honestly could not recommend them more.

The new bathroom installed for me by Chigwell Bathroom Services ("CBS") is the first time I have undertaken a full room renovation, so naturally I researched the project fairly extensively and obtained quotes from various different people before finally proceeding with CBS. CBS were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote I obtained, but based on reviews, the professional approach and advice from Steve during the first meeting, and level of detail in the quotation, I decided CBS were the best option. Now the installation is complete, I know I made the right decision. My expectations for the end product were high but I can honestly say my new bathroom looks even better than I had expected. CBS obviously take a great deal of pride in the work that they do and are keen to see that it is completed to the customers satisfaction. This is exemplified by the fact that Steve will be returning shortly to seek to fix an electric bathroom mirror which was faulty on delivery from the supplier, so we have had to wait for a new part from the supplier which they believe will fix the fault. Like many have said before me, I would strongly recommend CBS to anybody looking for a new bathroom.

Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Super quality job and brilliantly project managed to time and budget. Their workmanship was really good and they were really friendly and helpful. Delighted with our new transformed bathroom.

Whilst I had to wait for my job to be done, I considered that if the company was in such demand, they must be good and I was not wrong. Steve did such a great job at converting my mum's bathroom into a wet room. She loves it and so do I. I cannot recommend Chigwell Bathrooms highly enough. They were clean, efficient and left the bathroom looking like a 5 Star hotel en suite. What an amazing transformation. She couldn’t wait to take a shower!

We were very happy with the bathroom renovation carried out by Steve and his team. He was very friendly, professional and arrived on time each day. He covered our hallway and stairs on the first day with a protective layer and cleaned up meticulously and the end of each day. Steve's co-workers were also very friendly and professional. The standard of the end product was extremely high and we would not hesitate to have him again. In fact, we intend to renovate our cloakroom soon and we have already spoken to him about carrying out the work.
