We initially asked Darren of CHS Glasgow to provide us with a second opinion after our boiler had started to make terrible screeching noises and 2 engineers from our usual maintenance firm had failed to give us a satisfactory explanation of the problem. Darren attended promptly, took time to examine the heating system and to explain that the excessive noise related to the heat exchanger in the boiler. As our system was over 23 years old, we decided to have a new boiler installed along with the cleaning of the system and the installation of radiator valves. All this was carried out expeditiously, in a clean and tidy manner, and at reasonable cost and we now have a lovely warm house with a much more efficient system than previously.

Darren and Willie at CHS supplied and installed a new Valiant boiler, radiators, piping and a stock cock for me. Their work was impeccable. Really high standard and great advice on how to get the best out of a heating system, as well as regular servicing. Completely trustworthy and a pleasure to have in my home. Adaptable to your needs. Getting hold of a reliable, competent trade professional can be a challenging experience. Many don't return calls or fail to keep an appointment; misdiagnose faults; charge an arm and a leg. Dealing with Darren was a breath of fresh air. What looked like a complicated leak repair (and others might have made it very complicated) was carried out quickly and at a more than fair price. Plus, he's a really pleasant guy with a totally professional attitude. Overall, couldn't be more impressed.

Darren responded quickly to my problem of a leaking pipe causing water to drip through ceiling. A previous plumber failed miserably to diagnose the problem. Darren methodically worked out the source of the problem hidden in the eaves of the house and carried out the required repair. I can not recommend him too highly for his speed of response, politeness and clean work

To me all heroes come in different ways and today we met ours after our shower leaking again I thought it would be impossible to get a plumber out and if did would wait a while and pay a fortune. Well with a very happy heart we found our hero today Darren of CHS Glasgow after his wife responded to our post in Facebook yesterday he phoned came round all PPE protected and fixed the problem within seconds and also refitted our lights in the kitchen we took out as was leaking into lights. I cannot praise him enough and even more social distanced he took time to chat away to us! What did it cost nothing he said to pay it forward on this occasion as only needed resealing and as big g at 70 odd cannot get out and I am self-isolating due to high-risk group well we did insist in giving him something for his children which still took a lot of enforcing so to summarise if you ever need a plumber or bathroom central heating installed please go to Darren website attached he certainly put a spring in our steps today his chat alone was worth millions !!! Had a prompt reply from Darren when i had an issue with my boiler. Darren was efficient honest and thorough in his work. He Was very reasonably priced. He has a very pleasant manner and installed my new boiler and dealt promptly with any issues i had . İ would highly recommend him and will be using him again.

Darren responded to my message immediately, and was at my house within the hour to get my boiler back up and running. He also gave me some great advice about how to upgrade my central heating, and answered some questions I had about the heating setup in my new house. I looked to Which Trusted Traders to find a reliable boiler engineer to resolve some issues with my 7-year-old Worcester Bosch boiler. I decided to go with CHS Glasgow having checked that they are authorised Worcester Bosch installers (via the WB website). Darren of CHS was able to call at my house that day (donning his disposable shoe covers as he entered). He recommended that a deep clean of the heat exchanger on the boiler was needed. Once he had removed the panel to the heat exchanger this confirmed that it had not been cleaned in some years and that the accumulated deposits were impacting on its performance. He also (at my request) changed the electrodes and also undertook a number of safety checks. Darren thought the issues with the boiler were resolved when he left but advised me to contact him if there was a problem. Unfortunately, the boiler returned to fault mode later that day. Darren returned within an hour of re-contacting him. He then made several calls to the Worcester Bosch trade helpline to discuss the issue. Further adjustments were made. The subsequent visit was at no extra cost to me. It was clear that he was determined to get to the bottom of the issue and ensure that I was fully satisfied with his work. Darren was personable and polite throughout his visits and fully respected my property and its cleanliness. I would readily recommend Darren to friends looking for a reliable gas engineer. He truly deserves to be a 5 star Which Trusted Trader.

Darren fitted a brand new gas boiler for me at the agreed cost and within the agreed timeframe. He is very professional and knowledgeable about his trade and I would definitely recommend him.

Darren quickly diagnosed an issue with a leaking bath plughole, before it became a major issue. This was replaced, and I was shown the difference between the work before and what was put in. Darren then tested the new plughole which gave me peace of mind that the issue had been resolved. He also fitted a new kitchen tap after consulting me on replacements. The work was excellent, efficient and left very tidy. Great to work with and I'd highly recommend!

Darren was very quick to reply to my enquiry, he then visited and quoted for the job. Scheduled the job quickly turning up when expected completing the job quickly and left no mess. I have no qualms recommending him and will definitely be using his services in the future.

We had a small boiler issue which turned into a large boiler issue and Darren was very helpful and provided excellent advice. His work was excellent and to a high standard, even working long hours and coming at weekends to assist. He kept us fully informed throughout and was always available post installation with and help and advice that we required. Contacted Darren by email for a quote for boiler servicing. Prompt reply with the information. Went so far as to point out any extra charges if the boiler required more extensive work. Date and time were swiftly agreed. Darren showed up on time. Did the work quickly and neatly, in line with the indicated cost. He gave an indication of the condition of the boiler (good). He was also able to provide some information on replacing the boiler (which I asked for). Darren was personable and professional throughout. Truly someone who is passionate about his profession, something that is often said but rarely true. One had the sense that this was a company that could be relied on to get it right first time but, if not, would make best efforts to attend to any problems. Darren was able to take payment on the spot using his smartphone and a portable card reader. The receipt of payment pinged into my email before I'd taken my card out. Overall CHS gives the sense of being an entirely professional, highly efficient and customer-focussed outfit. I have already recommended them to a family member who was looking for someone to repair their boiler when the company that had originally installed it three years ago failed to do the right thing.

Darren carried out the work efficiently and comprehensively. He explained what he was doing in an understandable manner. His charges were quite acceptable. We would not hesitate to ask him to carry out any future heating or plumbing work.

CHS Glasgow recently installed a new Vaillant Boiler for us. The works were carried out whilst we were on holiday and CHS carried out the works to a high standard whilst being respectful of our property. After initial discussions it was agreed a more preferable position for the boiler would be in the loft as oppose to its original location in the kitchen. CHS completed the move making good all openings and existing features leaving our house clean, tidy and as if the boiler was always in the loft. As before CHS were respectful of our property and the neighbours commented on their professional manner. Updates were sent to us at various points of the install to keep us abreast of the works. Boiler works like a dream and the aftercare so far form CHS has been great.

CHS Glasgow Ltd fitted two new radiators for us & relocated another. The service was flawless with the engineer arriving at the agreed time and carrying out the work with minimal disruption. Darren was not only able to visit my property within 12 hours of request, he was quick to evaluate the problem and provide various options to fix the issue. Darren helped us with all the plumbing elements of our flat renovation. We were so happy with the service. After being advised by another company we needed a new boiler, Darren completed a service and advised we would get longer out of it. He renewed all our pipework under the floorboards and installed a condensate pipe so we could put our hardwood floor down and when the boiler eventually goes we just need to do a replacement with no disruption to the rest of the flat! He did an amazing job of our bathroom and kitchen. Best of all he sorted out all our radiators. I have never lived in a warmer tenement! Really nice guy to have around, would highly recommend!
