Clarkes Windows is a first class business. We have had them fit doors in the past but this time it was to replace our conservatory roof. The job was completed within the timescale and price quoted. The fitters were polite, good humoured and efficient, while the site was left neat and tidy. There was a shortage of one small part (their supplier's fault) and this was remedied quickly and there was a clear sense of urgency about it from Clarkes Windows. Communications throughout were first class. I do not anticipate any reason to call them about an issue with this particular job but one of our doors gets very hot from the sun and has needed adjusting a couple of times. On both occasions a fitter arrived the following morning. All in all this is an outstanding business; certainly the best of its kind in our area.

The company replaced 3 glass double doors from my lounge into the garden. The fitters arrived on time and were efficient tidy and courteous. The work was carried out in accordance with the quotation

Before selecting Clarke's Windows we tried to obtain quotations from several other local installers and had frustrating experiences with all of them. Clarkes understood our requirements and were able to make windows which few, if any, others were able to do. The roots of Clarkes Windows goes back to them fitting my home with new windows 23 years ago. The windows still look like new! Now twenty three years later my front door was feeling it 60 years of age and was at end of life. Clarkes supplied and fitted a quality composite replacement door for me. From the initial contact for my replacement door to the final fitting, Clarkes were helpful and informative. After I accepted their quote the measuring took place within days complete with helpful suggestions and the door arrived within the specified timescale. Bathroom window seal no longer working allowing condensation between double glazing. Rang for a quote and talked to a very competent receptionist. Chris came out very quickly, measured up and quoted the same day for a triple glazed unit. We were kept up to date about when unit would arrive and when it could be fitted. Fitted within two weeks of quote. Fitters were polite, tidy and very quick. We are very pleased with the result.

Excellent friendly local service. Nothing was too much trouble right from the very start. We contacted a number of local Conservatory companies but Clarkes were the only ones who really listened and gave appropriate advice based on what we wanted. They delivered great value for money and we are really pleased with the outcome. When we did have a small issue during the build I was particularly impressed that the owner Tony made a personal appearance within the hour and it was soon rectified. Despite the completion and works all paid for they have insisted more than once that if we encounter any issues then they are only a phone call away.

I think home improvement are a little daunting with all the horror stories out there and double glazing is up there with the worst so when I got a recommendation for Clarkes windows I was keen to check them out Well good news they are as good as I was told with a nice little showroom and friendly informative staff. A survey was done again very helpful and informative and he said I would have a quote the following day, this came and I thought was very fair as the job wasn’t as simple as swapping like for like there was some building work involved. I agreed the quote then the boss came out to accurately measure and go over the fine details, very thorough and talked through the job door and windows ordered I was given a rough idea of when they would be delivered and as soon as they got them they were on the phone organising fitting The fitters turned up promptly on the date four of them all very friendly and approachable nothing was to much trouble and they all had very exacting standards. Three big windows front door with side lights all done in two days as well as all remedial work and a couple of other things I asked them to do This company is how most companies used to be no gimmicks just good value for money and what really stands out is how proud they are of their products and service Thank you

From start to finish we were treated very efficiently, professional and friendly and with great attention to detail. We were kept informed about all stages of the work. Unfortunately, one of the smaller units cracked on installation but was ordered and replaced within a week. Timings given were adhered to and any questions we had were answered in easily understood terms. Very pleased with the price quoted. All in all would not hesitate to recommend Clarkes to anyone

We had an estimate within a day of contacting them and the work carried out within a week of accepting the estimate. Fast and tidy workmanship. We will use them without hesitation in the future.

I needed a cracked glass door to be repaired. Service was efficient and fast. Staff were kind and careful. Overall,they did a great job.

Clarkes windows were excellent from start to finish. The quote process was friendly and not pressured. The choices were fabulous. Tony came and did our survey and helped me decide on glass and colour options. (He was late due to a diary error but was very apologetic) The windows and door came in really quickly and the whole process took less than 6 weeks!! Gary and Brian were professional and friendly. It was lovely to see them bring such a positive transformation to the front of our bungalow. We will be back to see them again in 12 months to do the rest of the doors and windows once the building work is complete. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you all.

Excellent, friendly service from start to finish. I was so pleased with the friendly non-pressure sales quote as have had bad experience in the past. The windows were ready in just a few weeks. The installation went well and the guys were friendly and cleaned up behind themselves. The windows were fitted to a high standard. Would recommend Clarkes Windows to anyone.

We had an old wooden stable door replaced with a new composite door and a small wooden framed landing window replaced with a double glazed unit. From the initial quote to the final fitting the service was excellent. The quotes were comprehensive and all of the differing options were explained in detail. We were kept updated with the progress of the order and the fitters who eventually completed the order were polite, professional, competent and helpful. There was an issue with the order whereby the supplier made an error but this wasn't anything to do with Clarkes and they kept us updated as this error was rectified. I would definitely recommend Clarkes and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Clarkes have replaced all but two windows and one set of French doors in our house, and created a new set of French doors (including knocking through the wall). Of prime importance to us was retaining the character of our 1930s wooden windows, which the flush sash replacements with leading and wood-effect foil have achieved at a very competitive price. Service was excellent throughout the process, from initial enquiry, through sales and survey visits, to installation. Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and professional. Chris was very patient with our questions and changes of design, responding very quickly to queries. The level of detail of Tony and Dale's survey was very reassuring. We were kept well informed of the progress of the order, and the installation team worked quickly and cleanly. Dale picked up on snags that even we had missed, and these were rectified very quickly. We are absolutely delighted with the result and would highly recommend Clarkes.

Replacing double glazing units (installed 14 years ago by another company) that had blown. Excellent service from first visit, measuring up through to fitting. Competitive pricing and new units from recognised and long-established make. New patio doors look superb and fitted with no problems and no need even to touch up room decoration.

This is the second time I've used Clarkes - I didn't even bother getting any other quotes from local traders as I was confident of a fair deal. Had some blown dg units replaced and a new back door fitted. Fitters arrived early and got straight down to work. Door fitted and trimmed up and looks really nice. Even refitted the cat flap. Blown dg units replaced, 2 of which were patterned and they matched old ones exactly despite being 20+ years old. All in all extremely happy and will definitely use Clarkes again.

This is the third time Clarkes have been to the house and yet again fabulous service. Two men this time to remove old window and replace with new. Very considerate as soon as they arrived and put blankets down all through hall and stairs. All work carried out very well and the bathroom left as they found it - plus the new window!
