Clarke's came to us through a friend's recommendation. They visited us to discuss the job and provide an estimate and also gave us advice on options. Having accepted the offer they came again to confirm measurements and talk us through the job. As agreed the delivery date came in the expected timescale and the installation date was agreed.The installation team arrived on the agreed date and talked us through what was going to happen with the removal and the install of the windows and doors. All we can say is professional professional professional. The careful removal and attention to detail on the new install has left us with a great new product in our bedroom and you wouldn't have known any one had been.We will be asking them back to look at replacement options for the rest of the house. Says it all.

At the quotation visit, I showed Tony the original paper work provided by the original suppliers, outlining thicknes etc. I also explained that the external glass was in fact 2 panes sort of fused together, then a gap and a further pane on the internal side. I was surprised when he said the whole frame/window would be removed (a previous fitter said the casing was fine) When I recieved my quote for a new window, it did not explain things clearly, I had to ask what the thickness of the glass would be. After checking with Clarkes windows regarding the glass, I assumed I was going to get like for like. Unfortunately the make up of the new window is completely different, It consists of 3 individual panes of glass, with a gap between each pane, which has resulted in the recess being too narrow to accommodate my £140.0 "perfect fit clip in blind" to be re-fitted. Also the operation of the window is more complicated, even the fitters found the restriction bar difficult to operate and were going to mention it to feed back to the suppliers. Living by a railway line, the noise reduction is not as efficient as the old window As the window has settled, cracks in the plaster around the new frame have appeared. For me personally the replacement window has been an expensive disappointment and I hope others will be made more aware of what/how their replacement window is constructed.

Service from start to finish was excellent. From initially asking for a quote, Tony doing a site visit to the chaps carrying out the installation. Very happy with tge finished job.

On Thursday September 18th we had 2 window's fitted, & we are very pleased with the results, the two fitter's did a very good job. We have had window's fitted by Clark's in the past & would recommend them.

We had our 3 front original sash windows replaced with PVC replicas. The initial visit and quote we received were timely and gave options for our budget. I chose Clarks Windows after recommendations from previous customers. Having seven windows and a front door replaced they were completed in the time frame and dates given. The two fitters Jake and Lewis were very polite and considerate throughout their work. After each session they would clean up and vacuum. The workmanship of the fitting was excellent and the quality of the units fitted were superb. Communications from the Office were quickly sent and helpful. Ok, so a stone flicked out of the mower and broke Mother's double-glazed window. Loss of brownie points. Called Clarkes, and their guy came out to measure up. Anyway, a few days later, two guys showed up and in under ten minutes, the window was replaced, brownie points restored. Mother was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of your polite installers. A credit to your company. No mess, no fuss. Thank you, Clarkes. Awesome.

Clarkes provided a great service with a window installation for my new extension. They were happy to make minor adjustments to doors and were polite, clean, and helpful. A great family-run business to work with.

I contacted Clarkes Windows because of personal recommendation. I was not disappointed. I required a new composite back door and a powder coated aluminium conservatory. Salesman Chris visited me an£ took me through the options and sent a quotation quickly. Owner Tony came to measure up and advise on best solution details to suit my particular needs. Lead fitter Darren and team did a fantastic job. They expertly fitted everything and cleared up well every night. It is testament to the quality of the product and fitting that as an engineer with a close eye for defects, I could not find any. The lead work to the conservatory was particularly well done. Adele from the office was very helpful as well. In summary, I would recommend Clarkes Windows to anyone who expects the highest quality

A new composite back door was fitted along with repairs to another existing window. This included a new sealed unit and window sill, which involved removing the window. Communication was excellent all the way through, from the initial survey to the work being completed and paid for. The workmen were very professional and tidy when working, and we would highly recommend Clarkes windows. We look forward to doing business in the future. Thankyou.

Very Friendly staff, window fitted on agreed date and workmanship done efficiantly and tidily. However the replacement window was constructed differently to the one it was replacing, the operation of the tilt & turn more complecated & fitted with a restrictor bar when fully open, which is difficult to realign when closing, even the fitters found it difficult. Also due to the new construction, my exsiting clip in perfect fit Venetian blind would not fit as the recess was now too narrow. Resulting in a privacy issue, a recommended blind fitter was unable to offer a substitute, so Im unsure how to resolve the privacy matter, other than keeping my curtains closed all the time.

We have recently had a new back door and acoustic glass fitted. We are really pleased with both the workmanship and attention to detail shown by the team. Would highly recommend.

The lock on a patio door fitted by Clarkes Windows in 2023 developed a fault. As soon as I reported this an engineer visited and fixed the problem, all in under four hours. And there was no charge because the work came under my guarantee. An all round brilliant service.

The original visit by Chris to provide a quote was friendly and professional - there was no hard sell. The quote was provided the next day, it was not a sky-high number with special deals and games reducing the quote, just a straightforward price. Once accepted, the survey was carried out and papers signed, again, friendly and professional. The fitters couldn't have been more careful and friendly, cleaning up every day, and the quality of the workmanship and product was very good. A painless experience! Thank you

The whole process of buying and fitting new windows and doors was seamless. From the initial salesman Chris who was full of knowledge and experience who guided us with a light hand, to Tony and Dale who did all the measuring and checked all the detail so we were clear what we were ordering and the following process . Finally the installation by Ashton and Luke who were both confident and competent, and left us with beautiful finishes both inside and out. The office Staff ( Laura, Adele and Alison) were also very helpful. Plus the windows and doors are a high quality. Overall a great experience where the service was over and above expectations, We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Clark’s windows installed 2 doors, 3 windows all had intergrated blinds. I have to say the blinds have changed the lighting in the rooms, I didn’t realize how normal blinds make your rooms so dark. I was given a date and time they would turn up to do the work and they kept to that. Three workmen turned up, they were polite, very cheerful and got on and did the work, in my opinion to a high standard. They cleaned up and made good any plastering that needed doing. Before the workers left, they said any problems whatsoever please don’t hesitate to call us and we will come out to sort it.

They built a new 6mx3m conservatory using existing floor and low walls (with wooden sills) and replaced the old wooden french door from lounge to conservatory. They listened to our needs and made excellent suggestions for improvements at the design stage; eg. pitched roof with white inside. They came on the date agreed. The 2 men worked so hard - efficiently and they cleared away at the end of each day.... so so clean (dust sheets and hoovering up!) . We needed major work done to our house wall where the old conservatory had damaged to lintel. Done brilliantly and very thoroughly. End product even better than I had imagined. Just excellent and superb value for money. I can't praise them enough. The tiny hiccup when re-installing the old wooden window sills (ie. using light filler instead of dark) I'm sure can be sorted.

Everybody I spoke to from the chap that did the initial quote to the lovely Lauren in the office was super. The guys that came to sort the guttering, didn’t hang around, efficient, clean and polite. I’m really happy with the workmanship - they’ve done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend. I love using local trades especially when they offer such great service.

Team fitted three replacement windows. They arrived promptly, protected all work areas and fitted all the widows and let me check as they went along. Very pleased with the finished product and they left the house as it was on completion. They demonstrated the widows and the internal blinds operation and made sure we were happy. First rate job. All administration regarding quotes and options and billing was super efficient and friendly.
