We had an old wooden stable door replaced with a new composite door and a small wooden framed landing window replaced with a double glazed unit. From the initial quote to the final fitting the service was excellent. The quotes were comprehensive and all of the differing options were explained in detail. We were kept updated with the progress of the order and the fitters who eventually completed the order were polite, professional, competent and helpful. There was an issue with the order whereby the supplier made an error but this wasn't anything to do with Clarkes and they kept us updated as this error was rectified. I would definitely recommend Clarkes and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Clarkes have replaced all but two windows and one set of French doors in our house, and created a new set of French doors (including knocking through the wall). Of prime importance to us was retaining the character of our 1930s wooden windows, which the flush sash replacements with leading and wood-effect foil have achieved at a very competitive price. Service was excellent throughout the process, from initial enquiry, through sales and survey visits, to installation. Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and professional. Chris was very patient with our questions and changes of design, responding very quickly to queries. The level of detail of Tony and Dale's survey was very reassuring. We were kept well informed of the progress of the order, and the installation team worked quickly and cleanly. Dale picked up on snags that even we had missed, and these were rectified very quickly. We are absolutely delighted with the result and would highly recommend Clarkes.

Replacing double glazing units (installed 14 years ago by another company) that had blown. Excellent service from first visit, measuring up through to fitting. Competitive pricing and new units from recognised and long-established make. New patio doors look superb and fitted with no problems and no need even to touch up room decoration.

This is the second time I've used Clarkes - I didn't even bother getting any other quotes from local traders as I was confident of a fair deal. Had some blown dg units replaced and a new back door fitted. Fitters arrived early and got straight down to work. Door fitted and trimmed up and looks really nice. Even refitted the cat flap. Blown dg units replaced, 2 of which were patterned and they matched old ones exactly despite being 20+ years old. All in all extremely happy and will definitely use Clarkes again.

This is the third time Clarkes have been to the house and yet again fabulous service. Two men this time to remove old window and replace with new. Very considerate as soon as they arrived and put blankets down all through hall and stairs. All work carried out very well and the bathroom left as they found it - plus the new window!

All the staff were so patient, knowledgeable and informative. I couldn't recommend Clarke's more highly. Whilst we've not needed any after care since the 7 windows were fitted a week ago, the pre-order and order service was excellent. The fitters were a friendly and fastidious team. They cleaned up after themselves and talked us through every step of the way. The windows themselves are wonderful and have transformed our property. We needed to replace two smallish windows and as we had heard good things from friends about Clarkes we decided to ask them to quote. They visited and measured up offering advice as to how best they should open etc. order placed and delivery and installation completed within the estimated time. No disruption and no making good required following installation. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

From my first visit to the Dorchester showroom to the finished product, everyone I spoke to at Clarke's couldn’t have been more helpful. I chose the door Chris came and gave an estimate, but there was no pressure put on us. The fitters, Brian and Charlie, were friendly and so efficient they fitted the door to perfection. They cleared up so well behind themselves you wouldn’t have known they had been there. We will definitely be using Tony and his team again. I would definitely recommend.

We were researching window/door companies to fit 2 sets of aluminium French doors and a lantern into our new extension. This was the second company we visited, a family-run business in Dorchester. We quickly made the decision we did not need to look any further. This is a well established, friendly team, who from the outset were professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. Chris the sales manager listened and advised on suitability and showed us the items we were keen to purchase. They were excellent quality and considerably less pricey than the company we had previously visited. Our timescales were discussed - approximately 3- 4 months hence and we received a quote to include fitting within a couple of days. At no time was there pressure to purchase or pay any deposit - we were simply advised to keep in touch regarding our timescales, and that measurements would be taken prior to placing our order and paying our deposit. The small team of office staff were always easy to contact and very helpful. The fabulous dark grey aluminium doors and lantern were expertly fitted yesterday by a friendly and experienced team of 3. Everything arrived for the work at 8.30 and all was completed by mid afternoon, during which time they communicated well and worked with our builders on site. They were all polite, friendly and respectful of our property. I have no hesitation in recommending this company highly.

The work was done to high standard and exactly when Clarkes said it would be done. The windows are good quality and they were fitted to the same standards. They look even better than we had hoped. The staff are friendly, hardworking and could not have been more helpful while working here. They tidied up all mess and took great care of our property as they worked. (Our dog is missing their company this week :) )

From start to finish we have been very pleased with Clarke’s. The company had really good communication with us, they kept in touch with us by explaining the stages. The quote, to the surveyor spent long time explaining the options and the models we could have, advised us and modified our order to suit. The installers John, Darren and Aston turned up on time to fit 5 windows and a front door. They were very efficient and pleasant to have at our home and very friendly. Their process of work was very clean and we are very happy customers. Excellent service from start to finish! I just want to say a huge thank you to all the team we spoke to and dealt with at Clarke’s Windows. We will be recommending you to family and friends. Damp was penetrating the window frame. Problem was quickly diagnosed and a lead tray under the new frame has (so far at least) completely eliminated the problem. Work was of a high standard and work area was left clean.

This fitting of five windows to the rear of our house was the third time that Clarkes had completed work here for us. In October we had two windows fitted and earlier in January new fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes. Every staff member from Clarkes have been excellent. The quality of the products used and the work completed is very high. Every job was completed on time as scheduled and to budget. The staff have all been professional, honest, knowledgeable, understanding and polite. A pleasure to have around. We are delighted with the results and would most definitely recommend Clarkes Windows.

From beginning to end the service from Clarkes has been exemplary. The survey and estimate were very clear and exactly fulfilled our requirements. The fitting took place on the promised date and despite cold and wet weather including a spot of snow, the two fitters worked very hard to complete the work in the time we were told. They were friendly and helpful and worked extremely tidily. As a result, we have a result which we are highly pleased with, and the clear-up was very thorough leaving us with no mess at all. We have just had windows fitted from Clarkes windows. From start to finish the service has been impeccable. All members of the team are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I rarely leave reviews but given the standard of product and service I just had to leave feedback. Living in an old barn conversion our requests were not the standard but the team guided us through the process with helpful advice along the way. The fitters are an absolute credit to Clarkes windows - especially Dale, they work quickly and cleanly and are so polite. The windows look amazing, we are getting lots of comments on how beautiful our home looks and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clarke’s windows to anyone thinking of changing their windows. Five star service from a lovely team of people.

I invited a quote from Clarke’s of Dorchester. Checking out their website I found that almost everyone spoke highly of them and the only negative review seemed somewhat unreasonable. At the appointed time their representative, Chris, arrived and having quickly ascertained what I wanted, measured up my windows. A few days later I received a quotation. There were further choices to be made regarding style, finish and type of weld, but the advice was patiently given. Meeting Tony Clarke convinced me that there was a genuine person in whom I could put my trust. I decided that I would also have the roofline soffits, gutters and downpipes repaired and replaced to add to the three doors and 16 windows. The installation was completed in under four days. Tony had told me that he placed no time constraints on his teams and that the essential criterion was not sped but to ‘get it right’. The fitters were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful and were all masters of their trade. No, that is not sufficient: they were artists with experience and expertise. The soffits and gutters have now been replaced to the now expected high standard.
