Clarkes windows replaced all my double glazed windows in Poundbury. Despite covid-19 initially delaying any work, Clarkes telephoned me as soon as this was lifted to update me on work. I was informed exactly when scaffolding would be erected and removed. The schedule of work was explained in detail including start day, time of day and the named staff who would be working on my home. The staff were competent, professional, polite and good humoured. Great care was taken to protect both the rooms and exterior, and everything was made good after each installation. Each day everything was put back in order, cleaned and vacuumed. The work was inspected by the boss, Mr Clarke on completion and the scaffolding removed promptly. I am delighted with the quality of the actual windows and the installation and staff.

From start to finish Clark’s windows were a very professional team ,very prompt and tidy and the two man team were very helpful and a pleasure to have working in our home environment. The workmanship was excellent and we would recommend Clark’s windows without any hesitation at all .

Changing windows is a big decision and after hearing nightmare stories from others we were apprehensive about replacing ours. From the 1st meeting with Clarke’s windows we felt safe, they listened carefully and gave great advice on different aspects that we hadn’t considered. Repeated again when they called to measure up; they wanted our experience to be a positive one and again we felt very safe with such a big job been undertaken. The fitting lads arrived and they were great. They treated our home like their own. Cloths were laid out, clearly some mess was made, but everything was hoovered when they left so it was like they hadn’t been there. No mess outside. They were so polite and a credit to the firm. The service from Clarke’s is excellent. Due to weather conditions the lads were coming to us later one morning and we had a phone call to inform us that this would be case. They even matched up our old handles in our extension to coordinate with the new ones. I can’t praise this firm enough. We had a small issue with one of our handle locks and they are on the case to sort it with absolutely no problem. I highly recommend them for their communication, expertise, great quality windows and an excellent experience from start to finish. I’m so pleased we chose Clarke’s Windows.

I have no issue with the workmanship, helpfulness, timekeeping, tidiness of the team who were excellent. However, and how I wish I'd expressed my concerns at the time, when Tony told me a 20 degree roof pitch would be enough. I had my doubts. The new conservatory would be replacing one of about 20 years of age with more or less a flat roof, which I had to clean. Now, being in my 70's and no longer wishing to climb up and down a ladder to clean the roof, I was looking forward to a roof that washed itself in the rain. I've had the new conservatory about four months, awaiting heavy downpours. These we have now had but still all sorts of crud is irremovably sitting on the roof. I'm very, very disappointed, and would have reservations recommending them.

Mine was a small order but I received prompt and courteous attention at all times. I requested repairs to 3 normal size windows that had misted up. Two very helpful and knowledgeable guys came at the allotted time and even though it was raining quite hard fitted new glass in very quick time. Very pleased with the result.

I’m not usually prone to gushing praise when I get what I pay for, but Clarkes windows did an outstanding job. Just bought a house which the surveyor had advised needed three replacement windows & a sliding door to the conservatory. Clarkes came to visit and I asked them to assess all the windows throughout. They made no attempt to sell me anything I didn’t need, instead advising me that the only windows that required replacement were those highlighted by the surveyor when I was buying the house. The price was good and the quality of work is superb. The three guys who came to do the job were gregarious, polite and super efficient, engaging kindly with my six year old son, while ensuring safety came first. There was no mess left behind, and having decorated before the windows were replaced, (daft I know), I expected to have to at least re-paint, if not re-plaster around the window frames, but the finish is so good, it looks like the windows went in before the decorating. I recommend Clarkes without hesitation, first class from start to finish.

I highly recommend Clarke's Windows. From start to finish the whole team worked with professionalism and great care. Nothing was too much trouble. All the windows in my house were replaced in four days in very difficult circumstances. The fitters were courteous and respectful of the property and carried out the work efficiently. The cost of the work was very reasonable for the quality of the product and excellent service. A couple of very minor issues were resolved quickly and graciously. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Tony Clarke's hard working and efficient company.

Finally a company that did not shy away from a job that was slightly unusual! Highly impressed right from the start. After a detailed discussion on our requirements Tony came up with a solution on a technical issue. And work convened on an Orangery with bifold doors. It was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. We have been very impressed with the overall quality of the product and of the workmanship.

Needed a double glazed unit replaced. Very impressed with the help and knowledge of Chris the Surveyor.Supply and fitting of unit was done quickly and efficiently by the very knowledgeable and friendly fitters. No hesitation in recommending Chris and Team.

I contacted Clarkes on the recommendation of my kitchen fitter as I needed a new window and new French Doors, both of which involved knocking through walls as well as replacement of some existing French Doors. All work needed to be completed within a short time frame as any delay would have had a knock on effect on the follow on works. From Chris' initial, competitive quote, Tony's very thorough survey and helpful advice to the two fitters who worked through pouring rain in order to meet the deadline, the service was faultless from start to finish. I'd highly recommend Tony and his team to anyone looking for a first class, professional and courteous service.

Having shopped around, we eventually chose Clarke’s for all our huge panoramic windows, windows, patio doors, French door & front door and so glad we did. From start to finish, they offered us an excellent service, from discussing handles, which way they opened, trickle vents, thresholds etc. To the standard of fitting & the fitters. Clarkes have their own team of fitters (no sub-contracting as other well known national companies do) and the ones who visited us were extremely professional, polite and did a very neat job - absolutely no mess at all. The salesman was professional and honest - no hard sell and no unnecessary extras. (I got a good quality front door for £1500 - the hard sell salesman from a well known national company quoted me £5500 for the same door!) The after sales service is unbelievable - the fitters were round almost instantly to sort out the few issues we had. I’ve never encountered such good after sales service with any company. I have nothing but praise for Clarkes Windows and I will thoroughly recommend them.

From the initial visit to measure and quote, to having doors fitted we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone involved was friendly and helpful and there was no pressure to buy. Fitters arrived on time and completed the work very efficiently. I would thoroughly recommend Clarkes to anyone thinking of having replacement doors.

Our property is a barn conversion that is several hundred years old, so finding a style of window that was in keeping was not straight forward. However despite this Tony and his team were patient and offered a number of suitable options. His final recommendation was spot on and we couldn't be happier. Darren and Aiden carried out the installation, they were both polite and extremely clean and tidy. Nothing was ever to much trouble for Emma in the office, who I had cause to speak to a couple of time. Clarkes Windows installed a set of sliding doors into an existing stone wall, at first floor level. The job involved knocking out existing windows and masonry, carefully re-building part of the outside wall in stone, creating an opening that would take the sliding doors, supplying and fitting the doors, then making good, including plastering and laying down a bespoke wooden threshold. In other words, a fairly complex building project involving a range of specialised trades. All the work was done to a very high standard, on time and within the agreed price. When a structural problem arose that could not have been foreseen before the project started, Clarkes Windows immediately called in a structural engineer at reasonable cost to propose a work-around that met both their requirements and our concerns. As the clients, we were briefed on every stage of the work and, when decisions were required, given clear options. All the installers were friendly and helpful. They were also very tidy. We could not have been better served. This is a family firm that clearly cares about its reputation and its customers.

From requesting a quote to the completion of the work I could not fault Tony and his team. I had 9 windows replaced with flush sash type with cladding to a gable on a dormer. The whole process took under 9 weeks from the initial phone call and with Christmas involved I could not have asked for a better service. The team who fitted the windows were excellent, turned up as arranged and completed the work in 3 days. They were polite, good at their job, happy and a pleasure to have around. They put dust sheets down and hoovered everywhere they had been, swept the drive and even picked the bits out the flower bed! The windows look so good and I could not be happier and wish I had replaced them sooner. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

No fuss, no hassle, just excellent top quality windows and doors fitted efficiently by a friendly team of expert fitters. Having strangers in your home can be a worry but we really enjoyed their company while our living conditions were transformed in just three unintrusive days. Always polite, thoughtful, and grateful for cups of tea with biscuits, they just got on with what seemed to us would be a massive undertaking. After care looks promising as a lovely bunch of flowers arrived the day after they left! It only goes to show that you should always ask around to find those who really know what thy are doing. For years we tolerated a rotting, hideous roof light on our porch and one day, driving past Clarkes Windows showroom, I stopped on an impulse. It was the best thing I ever did. Tony Clarke came round to quote within a couple of days and within two weeks his very polite and efficient team arrived, removing offending structure, leaving in the evening not a paint fleck, or splinter to show they’d been. The job was completed in three days, doubling the light into my dining room which was fabulous. We recently had all our wooden windows, doors and conservatory replaced by Clarke’s In Dorchester. What a great job! The house is transformed and looks updated and fabulous. Our leaking conservatory is now modern and warm. Tony and the team are professional and make sure they deliver a quality product and service and are always on hand to advise you. Had new upvc porch, fascia, soffit and guttering fitted. Obtained a number of quotes of which Clarkes were the cheapest. Tony & Chris took the time to advise on what would look best and were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The work was completed by Lewis who must receive special mention. He was extremely hardworking and a credit to the company. Very pleased with the result and will have no hesitation in using Clarkes again for any future work.
