I have a VW Golf and have been taking my car to Clover Autos for the past 14 years. On my first experience with them, they identified a problem I had over the phone just by listening to my description of the issue. They solved the problem when others I had seen locally to where I live could not. From then on I have always taken my car to them. I find them friendly, helpful and efficient. I don't live locally to their premises, but choose to travel to them, as I have confidence in their ability to deal with any problem I may have with my car. On this particular visit they carried out my annual service and M.O.T. Over the years they have dealt with large and small jobs on my car.

Have used Clover Autos for many years now and have never been disappointed, always professional in their approach to every problem I have needed advice on, efficient and polite. They know their stuff, will advise on what needs doing and explain the problem in hand and what work will be carried out to solve it. I have had not very good experience of main dealerships in the past with delays in booking my car in and various delays for whatever reason, these guys are the real deal. Have always recommended to family and friends without reservation.

I have been using Clover Autos for over 20 years, and trust them completely to do whatever is necessary on my vehicle(s), and have never had a single cause to complain. They inspect the vehicle(s) thoroughly and notify me of any issues that might occur in future months, so that I am aware of them. They always check before doing any work, which they have noticed, but which is not scheduled. The quality of workmanship is second to none, and the price is below that of any main dealer, for the same work. I trust their work, and behavior, implicitly.

I had the PCV valve, approx 85,000 mile service, lower steering arms, 4 wheel alignment and new tyres carried out on the vehicle. From the intial fault finding right through to collecting the vehicle the service from Ronnie and Dave has been exemplary. The communication from both Ronnie and Dave through has been excellent, keeping me informed of the progress and where required after inspection of parts needing replacing. The standard of work and the facilities have impressed me immensely, a very professional and organised workshop. Ronnie and Dave are friendly and easy going, explaining everything and answering all questions fielded. Both look as though they enjoy their work and this reflects for me in the quality of service provided. Everything was carried out as they both explained in phone updates and itemised on the invoice. I collected the vehicle today (14th Nov 2020) and have covered around 150miles. The drive is quiet and smooth with the vehicle running the best I've know. I will be utilising their services again in the future for any guidance and work required on the vehicle. A very satisfied customer.

After experiencing severe delays with Ford main dealers in trying to book an MOT I telephoned Clover who booked the car in for the following day - just in time as the test was legally due the day after. The car was ready on time and had protected seat and carpet covers and an invoice and test certificate ready when I collected the car. I was impressed and pleased to discover a garage that made the process so quick and easy where the main dealer had so complicated and delayed such a simple task. I will use Clover for servicing in future.

I hae used Clover Autos several times and always found them excellent. Many repairers vary and can appear untrustworthy. Not here, Ronnie and Dave have vast experience and pass this on to the customer with great service and advice. This is rare in my experience of servicing and repairing many cars over the years. MOT service is also excellent. Keep up the good work you two.

Even at these difficult times, Ronnie and the train were friendly and professional. I got a call telling me what needed to be done, optional stuff they could do and costs before they carried anything out. When I went to pick up, Ronnie went through the invoice to make sure I was clear on what work had been done and what to keep an eye on for the next service. Lovely people to trust your car with.

Clover Autos were not only able to collect and deliver my car to ensure health and safety and lockdown measures were met, but they provided both a prompt and honest service. Having moved to Essex recently and not knowing the area, I was really pleased to have such a pleasant experience. Their expertise was reassuring and they successfully got my car back up to standard (with a mini service chucked in). I will certainly continue to use these guys in the future!

Went in for an advisory but they gave me a over and above deal on a service that my car desperately needed from it’s terrible past owner.

Cover always know what they are doing. They are honest and courteous. They ask a fair price for good work. They are worth going to. They try and make it as easy as possible with courtesy cars etc.

Service and Mot on my VW Passat Cc. Explained all issues and advised the best course of action based on my budget. Turned it around the same day and was even able to deliver my car back to me saving me a taxi journey to collect. Very impressed.
