We had a leak in our bath drain coming into our nice new kitchen. This meant carefully removing 2 very large tiles and the plywood panels underneath without destroying the rest of the bath surround. It needed surgical precision. We had a few plumbers round to assess it with no luck. We found Gary in this directory and he came around the following day. He managed it with no problem, replaced the drain, installed a new shower tap and it hasn't shown any sign of a leak in the two years since he did the work. He's a virtuoso performer. I always mean to write reviews for great service but rarely get around to it. Finally, I managed one!

We contacted Gary when our previous (very old) shower pump had began to leak. Gary was excellent. He was incredibly responsive, reliable and organised. He was clear and personable in explaining the work that needed to be done and how he'd go about it. He gave us a quote straight away and told us when he could complete the work. He was on time, tidy and did a brilliant job of replacing the pump, situating it in a better area for water flow and explaining the replacement pipework that he'd needed to fit. We would 100% use Gary again.

Isolated & part drained down the heating system , stripped out the existing two radiators & valves then supplied & installed two new white contract radiators, valves & pipework. Also supplied & installed a new thermostatic and bedroom radiator valve. Coopers Plumbing carried out all the work to a very high standard, on time and to budget. Gary is a very efficient, helpful and reliable plumber with good communication skills. He even vacuumed the room before he left disposing of all the packaging. We would definitely employ him again especially as he was dog friendly.

We contacted Gary as we needed a new rising main fitted into the house from the stopcock in the front garden. Gary assessed the job, and was helpful in suggesting the best way to run the new pipework through the footings, and under suspended and solid floors with the minimum of disruption. Gary and his team were brilliant. They cracked on with the job and replaced the old lead piping with new MDPE pipework. The job was super neat, floorboards were removed and replaced with care, and everything was put back in its place when they finished. The groundwork in the garden was beautifully finished, everything was insulated against the cold, I'm super happy with the work. Even our neighbours came around to say how polite Gary and the team were (they had to park a van over the neighbour's drive) and commented on the neatness of the work.

We called Gary to deal with the foghorn-like noises coming from our hot water system - causing alarm to us and disturbance to a neighbour. He rapidly identified its source, replaced the offending cylinder/valve, and serviced the hot water cylinder. Helpful and reassuring. Highly recommended.

We've used Gary a couple of times this year to do a few things in our house including fitting a garden tap, replacing a heated towel rail, fixing a radiator and rectifying pipework on a pump. He goes about his work in a calm and efficient manner. Every single one of these jobs has been done to an excellent standard and everything has been explained very clearly. Importantly, he's reliable as he always turns up when he says he's going to and his quotes are well set out with no hidden costs. He's a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend him.

This is the third or fourth time we have used Gary, initially in our old house in Molesey and more recently in Barnes. It seems that whatever challenge we set he can solve it; his quotes are clear and invoices as expected. He is a pleasure to have in the house, sticks to agreed timelines and his expertise undoubted.

This is the first time we've used Which Trader and I've been really impressed from start to finish. We've had an overflow leak from our heating system and I called Gary after finding his details on Which. He did a great job, responding quickly to the initial enquiry, finding a slot in his schedule, diagnosing the problem within minutes of arriving, ordering the replacement valve and fitting it within 2 days of my initial call. He also explained a potential problem with a pressurised expansion tank and carried out a full service on that as well. He was friendly and careful around the house and his quote and invoice were all clear and no hidden extras. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Gary to friends and will certainly use him again if we have any plumbing problems in future.

Saw Gary's great reviews on here and decided to get a quote for some work. We wanted a dishwasher installing for the first time, a new outside tap, a towel rail and stopcock. He gets back to you quickly by email. He came round on date/time arranged to see the job and quote us. He talked through what needed doing as the previous owners had done some DIY bodge jobs (I knew this already). He's busy so we were going to have to wait about 3 weeks for his first available slot, but he knew we wanted it done quickly (we were laying new turf and needed better water pressure - one of the previous bodges done meant there was only a dribble!) so when he had a cancellation he offered it to us. He, and a colleague he brought to do the towel rail part, were nice and friendly. They left the place clean and we are very happy with the work they have done for us. Would recommend Gary to friends.

We asked Gary to fix a leaking tap. He did a great job replacing the cartridge and leaving it working perfectly. We were very pleased with the friendly, prompt service we received and would highly recommend him.
