I phoned Gary about a garden tap which was leaking. He called the next day and replaced a pipe which had expanded due to the cold weather. He installed a stop valve to the pipe which I asked him to do and insulated the pipe. All done very efficiently and a friendly service and I would not hesitate to recommend Gary.

My old hot bath tap had slowed to a trickle, and I’d been resigned to a new mixer tap. Gary diagnosed the problem and put in replacement cartridges on the spot the day he came to give the (very reasonable) quote. The water pressure is now stronger than it was 20 years ago! He also fixed a tricky basin tap (and as a bonus, managed to release the filter cap on my washer with a skilful knock.) He’ll be back to install a new radiator, with more jobs on the list to come. I’m grateful to have found him – Gary is a real pro, great at communications, and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a leak in our bath drain coming into our nice new kitchen. This meant carefully removing 2 very large tiles and the plywood panels underneath without destroying the rest of the bath surround. It needed surgical precision. We had a few plumbers round to assess it with no luck. We found Gary in this directory and he came around the following day. He managed it with no problem, replaced the drain, installed a new shower tap and it hasn't shown any sign of a leak in the two years since he did the work. He's a virtuoso performer. I always mean to write reviews for great service but rarely get around to it. Finally, I managed one!

We contacted Gary when our previous (very old) shower pump had began to leak. Gary was excellent. He was incredibly responsive, reliable and organised. He was clear and personable in explaining the work that needed to be done and how he'd go about it. He gave us a quote straight away and told us when he could complete the work. He was on time, tidy and did a brilliant job of replacing the pump, situating it in a better area for water flow and explaining the replacement pipework that he'd needed to fit. We would 100% use Gary again.

Isolated & part drained down the heating system , stripped out the existing two radiators & valves then supplied & installed two new white contract radiators, valves & pipework. Also supplied & installed a new thermostatic and bedroom radiator valve. Coopers Plumbing carried out all the work to a very high standard, on time and to budget. Gary is a very efficient, helpful and reliable plumber with good communication skills. He even vacuumed the room before he left disposing of all the packaging. We would definitely employ him again especially as he was dog friendly.

We contacted Gary as we needed a new rising main fitted into the house from the stopcock in the front garden. Gary assessed the job, and was helpful in suggesting the best way to run the new pipework through the footings, and under suspended and solid floors with the minimum of disruption. Gary and his team were brilliant. They cracked on with the job and replaced the old lead piping with new MDPE pipework. The job was super neat, floorboards were removed and replaced with care, and everything was put back in its place when they finished. The groundwork in the garden was beautifully finished, everything was insulated against the cold, I'm super happy with the work. Even our neighbours came around to say how polite Gary and the team were (they had to park a van over the neighbour's drive) and commented on the neatness of the work.

We called Gary to deal with the foghorn-like noises coming from our hot water system - causing alarm to us and disturbance to a neighbour. He rapidly identified its source, replaced the offending cylinder/valve, and serviced the hot water cylinder. Helpful and reassuring. Highly recommended.

We've used Gary a couple of times this year to do a few things in our house including fitting a garden tap, replacing a heated towel rail, fixing a radiator and rectifying pipework on a pump. He goes about his work in a calm and efficient manner. Every single one of these jobs has been done to an excellent standard and everything has been explained very clearly. Importantly, he's reliable as he always turns up when he says he's going to and his quotes are well set out with no hidden costs. He's a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend him.

This is the third or fourth time we have used Gary, initially in our old house in Molesey and more recently in Barnes. This is the first time we've used Which Trader and I've been really impressed from start to finish. We've had an overflow leak from our heating system and I called Gary after finding his details on Which. He did a great job, responding quickly to the initial enquiry, finding a slot in his schedule, diagnosing the problem within minutes of arriving, ordering the replacement valve and fitting it within 2 days of my initial call. He also explained a potential problem with a pressurised expansion tank and carried out a full service on that as well. He was friendly and careful around the house and his quote and invoice were all clear and no hidden extras. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Gary to friends and will certainly use him again if we have any plumbing problems in future.

Saw Gary's great reviews on here and decided to get a quote for some work. We wanted a dishwasher installing for the first time, a new outside tap, a towel rail and stopcock. He gets back to you quickly by email. He came round on date/time arranged to see the job and quote us. He talked through what needed doing as the previous owners had done some DIY bodge jobs (I knew this already). He's busy so we were going to have to wait about 3 weeks for his first available slot, but he knew we wanted it done quickly (we were laying new turf and needed better water pressure - one of the previous bodges done meant there was only a dribble!) so when he had a cancellation he offered it to us. He, and a colleague he brought to do the towel rail part, were nice and friendly. They left the place clean and we are very happy with the work they have done for us. Would recommend Gary to friends.

We asked Gary to fix a leaking tap. He did a great job replacing the cartridge and leaving it working perfectly. We were very pleased with the friendly, prompt service we received and would highly recommend him.

Gary had my cistern working within an hour. He didn’t disappear for an hour looking for parts as some do as he carries some spare parts on his van. Very happy to recommend him. Price including the new improved float chamber was very fair too.

We called Gary to fix a broken tap and to get some advice on a few other issues. Gary arrived within the agree time slot and got the tap working with some temporary replacement parts. His advice on replacing the tap long-term (as well as the other issues we raised) made sense. He was friendly and competent throughout, and he left the place clean and tidy. Everything was done in less than an hour and charged accordingly at the rate he had provided.

We called Gary to get quotes for several things: a leak, changing a tap, and a bigger project of redoing some of the plumbing in the kitchen. Gary was responsive and quick to come out to give us a quote. He was able to fit us in right away to fix the leak and answered all the questions we had about what had gone wrong and how to prevent leaks like it in the future. Gary provided us with a full central heating installation. The work was carried out on time, on budget and to a very high standard. The quality of the workmanship and care around pipe work was particularly pleasing ensuring they were neatly installed and that their placement was well thought through. Gary was also very accommodating when we changed some of the requirements at a late stage. Won't hesitate to use again - a great job!

Gary arrived to quote, provided a date for the job and communicated time of arrival, all in advance. He fitted a few radiators, making sure pipes were hidden, and the exposed piping was cleanly done. He made sure I was happy with placement of everything, even offering suggestions which I readily saw the benefit of. His work is top quality and I wont hesitate calling him for any future work. Gary has done a couple of jobs for us and has proved himself professional, reliable and efficient. He undertook a few plumbing jobs, the main one replacing an old WC cistern for a new push button one. When the cistern (that we'd supplied) sprung a leak, he returned and supplied and fitted a replacement part nice and promptly.

I asked Gary to come and quote for a couple of jobs. He repaired the leaking loo there and then, very quickly and efficiently. He also suggested a cheaper option for the other job he was quoting on which I have asked him back to work on. Pleasant, experienced, tidy and he will suggest the cost effective solution. I phoned Gary yesterday. He came this morning and had done the job in about half an hour. It involved replacing a broken ball valve in one of those modern (i.e. difficult!) toilet cisterns. He was very polite and friendly and I will certainly recommend him and use him again when I have any plumbing etc. jobs.

Gary fitted our designer radiators beautifully. Additionally he neatened up our floor to ceiling pipe work and reinforced the radiator fittings to ensure a secure fitting to the wall.

Gary fitted a new combi boiler and sorted a couple of other minor plumbing issues. Very efficient and pleasant to have round the house, tidy work and no fuss. Highly recommended.

Gary has just plumbed in an outdoor tap for me. Arrived at arranged time and was very efficient and tidy and a nice guy all round. Wanted to make sure that I only used a professional that knows what they are doing not one of the many chancers out there and Gary was definitely the first and right choice.totally recommended

We had a burst water pipe early one morning, and so I came straight to the trusted traders site and began calling plumbers under the search term 'emergency plumbing service' the first few told me to wait until the afternoon, However Gary was very understanding and arrived within 25 mins. He quickly got to the root of the problem and explained he would have to cut away at some of the back our kitchen units to access the pipe work. He carefully cut exactly the amount he needed to, and replaced all the parts, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any future work and highly recommend his service.
