Crestshield Windows replaced our top window which had been poorly fitted and was leaking. They were very easy to communicate with, offered us a reasonable and fair quote and carried out the work to a very professional standard. We then had a bit of roofing work done which caused a gap between the window and the roof. I called them unsure of what to do. Despite being very busy they came that very same day to provide a solution to the gap. It hadn't been part of the job and they very kindly took the time to help and didn't charge extra. Highly recommended.

Crestshield supplied and fitted new windows and a frontdoor to our property. The whole process from start to finish was so easy, I can't fault any of the work. The fitters worked so hard, completing the work to a really high standard, keeping us informed every step of the way. They went the extra mile, checking we were happy with everything they were doing, they were clean and tidy, very friendly and able to answer all of my questions.

We had two windows put in, as they drilled and hammered at our windows, they broke our curtain rails and also the walls, they didn't make good. They forgot to silicone one side of the window. They used foam for one big crack after I'd complained - another workman said that that isn't a good material to use as it creates later problems, I also noticed that it never hardened. I had to replaster everything and silicone it myself. They left out a screw. The corners of the windows don't join up. The edge of the windowsill looks like bitten nails, it is an absolutely terrible finish. They were also very rude, defensive, they weren't going to tell us that we would have to replaster the whole room and they didn't wear masks despite repeated requests, in the middle of lockdown in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Very pleased with replacement loft and bedroom windows installed by Crestshield. Workmen arrived on date and exactly on time, they were quick, efficient and they made no mess. No hesitation about recommending them based on my experience.

I am very happy with the work done by Crestshield Windows. The windows look fantastic and have made a huge difference to my flat already. Before they were installed I had the heating on all day and now I only need to turn it on for small amounts as the room holds the heat. The two guys who fitted my windows arrived at 8 am and were finished by 1 pm. Very efficient job and they knew what they were doing. Conducted themselves very professionally throughout.

We wanted all the windows in our house replaced with UPVC sash windows and having seen the excellent reviews on Which? decided to go with Crestshield. We met with Ben who made a good initial first impression and the quote seemed very reasonable. We were initially very pleased with the windows but soon realised that there was a draft coming through under the windowsill, a lot of the sealant around the windows looked messy and our kitchen floor was damaged. The fitter came back a few days later and fixed the draft and we were compensated for the damage to the kitchen floor. We were still not entirely happy with the finish around some of the windows but didn't get around to saying anything. However two years on and one of the windows, after being opened to clean it, wouldn't shut again very easily. Something had broken on the hinge/spring and the window then wouldn't slide up and stay up. The windows came with a 10 year warranty so we rang Crestshield at the beginning of October 2020. After chasing them several times and after at least a month, someone was eventually sent out to fix it (who arrived later than arranged) but when they arrived they didn't have the part so said they would ring the office to sort out getting it and get back to us to arrange getting it fixed. It is now nearly January 2021 and we haven't heard anything from them and still have a broken window. I appreciate the pandemic had caused some delays but a quick phone call to keep us updated takes a few minutes!

Communication from start to finish has been excellent, from our initial meeting with Peter to discuss the job, and various questions along the way addressed by Ben or Simone over the phone or by email. The fitters Scott and Linton worked hard and covered all areas with dust sheets and left the site clean and tidy. Crestfield windows fitted new windows to the front and rear of our house. The team arrived on the Monday morning and if they had rushed the job or not been as neat and careful, could have had it all finished on the Thursday, but they took extra care and effort and completed it on the Friday, making sure we were happy with everything, before they left. Nothing was to much trouble and the price we were given, was the price that we paid. The windows look excellent and we are very pleased with them and again, we got exactly what we asked for. Would I recommend them to a friend? Without a doubt or hesitation.

Crestshield installed 3 double glazed windows at the front of my home. After getting quotes from competing brands like Anglian and SafeStyle, I found Crestshield priced similarly but crucially, I found them to be more trustworthy. They delivered a high quality product and kept me informed throughout the process. I did have a few changes after ordering which were dealt with very quickly. Thoroughly recommend!

We had a window installed in our 3 year olds bedroom. The window was fitted within an afternoon. The fitters were professional and tidy. However after they had left I noticed they had forgotten to fit the window restricter to prevent the bottom window from opening too wide. This was essential to prevent my son falling 20 ft onto a concrete patio! They said they would come back to fit it but after several calls over 3 months they failed to come. I called again just before lockdown was instituted and they said someone would pop around to fit it. I am still waiting...

The 2 fitters from Crestshield fitted a new front door, side window and large window. They took great care to make the minimum mess, they were polite and relaxed which in turn gave me confidence in them. The finished work is lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - that’s how I found them in the first place!

Bradley and his trainee Drew arrived each morning on time, smartly dressed in logo sweatshirts, providing a good image for the company they work for, Crestshield Windows. They fitted 6 windows and a front door, efficiently, neatly and were courteous and respectful the whole time. I am delighted with their workmanship and would wholeheartedly recommend them. The salesman Peter was professional at all times without being pushy and delivered the job he promised. This experienced far outweighed my previous experience with a bigger corporate window company and was much better value for money.

Peter Carter did our initial survey and he was very friendly and professional. Bradley did a great job of the installation and it was completely stress-free. The windows look amazing and have completely transformed our house. Well worth every penny.

He was very helpful, did an additional survey at my request. No nasty sales pressure. Ian the window fitter and his assistants Drew and Tate made a great job. Ian is very experienced and paid attention to detail ensuring that windows fitted very well and making good inside and outside. They were very polite, worked to agreed schedule leaving the place clean and tidy everyday. The windows are great quality and look lovely.

Outstanding! They really take pride in their work which is so refreshing. They fixed the edges of the frame which wasn't necessary however he said it made the finish (which it did). Very polite and hardworking. They came at around 8.15am and worked through with no breaks until the job was complete finishing at around 2.30pm. Can't recommend them enough

Have nothing but positives to say about Crestshield. Yes their quote was a touch (and only a touch) higher than others, but you pay for what you get. Windows delivered to my specifications with no hidden costs, quotes and installations happened when they were supposed to, near 24x7 comms from the owner to reassure and answer questions as they arise and all done within a very quick time frame. Don't be fooled by companies that say long lead times equals quality - Crestshield absolutely meet high standards in every regard without a 6 week wait. I have one issue with a window which has been well addressed and am now waiting in the manufacturer to resolve - all done with no quibble, fuss, or impact to me. Simply put, Crestshield have done everything I could hope for to make the otherwise expensive and rather dull experience of replacing windows a pleasure. I thoroughly recommend them!!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Crestshield Windows and I am glad that a neighbour recommended them. When considering purchasing a product such as double glazing it opens a minefield of unknowns, but I had no need to worry because from day one; from having the first visit from Peter, my mind was put at rest and I am grateful to him for sharing his knowledge and expertise. There was no pressure what so ever and I was encouraged and given thinking time to research the products i.e.: windows/ locks and manufacturer. Peter even suggested design changes which did not effect the cost but has enhanced the appearance of the property. A survey was conducted by the fitter Ian in a timely and professional manner. During fitting, Ian was helped by Tait. Both were polite, friendly, professional and worked well as a team. The double glazed “linear” A+ windows look amazing. Although some minor damage was caused to render on removing original windows, Ian assured me that he would make good - well all I can say is that he was true to his word and once the render was replaced around the windows and allowed to dry, you can barely see a difference it blends in so well. The finishing of the windows is superb. Throughout fitting both Peter and Ben ensured things were going smoothly and kindly accommodated my diary. Crestshield Windows clearly care about their reputation and customers, which is evident by virtue of the fact they have been trading for the last 17 years. Thank you.

Crestshield replaced my kitchen window. Ben was very helpful and flexible when he came out to give me a quote. The window was a good price, the fitters were professional and the window is looking great.

Our whole experience with Crestshield has been a pleasure from the quotation to the installation of our replacement door. The engineers arrive at the arranged time and were quiet and professional throughout, they removed the existing door and frame without damaging the external pebble dashing or the internal plaster work. Apart from the fact that the door is far superior to the original you wouldn’t know it had been replaced. All rubbish was cleared and the site left clean and tidy. The whole team, in the office and onsite, were friendly and answer queries promptly. Over thirty years ago Crestshield replace all the widows in our precious property, they took the same care and attention to detail then, and the windows still look good today.
