We recently had a new front door and all new windows fitted, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Steve, Dennis and Robbie were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish — professional, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. Having them around in our tiny house never felt awkward. The workmanship is excellent, everything was completed in great time, and the whole process was completely stress-free. There were no issues whatsoever, and the team made everything easy and straightforward. I previously used Cristal Windows in 2021/2022 for the same undertaking, windows, external doors and full roofline replacement, but on an empty house. I was impressed enough to ask them to repeat the undertaking on two houses. As before Steve was meticulous in his planning and considerate of the difficulties in coordinating work on two mirror image houses, concurrently, with Tenants in residence. The work was undertaken empathetically, professionally and to a high standard. Always willing to please Dennis and Robbie worked tirelessly to accommodate the needs of the Tenants. We had our conservatory roof replaced. Steve, Dennis, and the team did a great job from start to finish. Their pricing is competitive, and they were patient with us wanting to change the design beforehand. The work was done to a high standard, including plastering. We chose Cristal based partly on feedback from friends and have been delighted with their work. Cristal initially installed new windows throughout the house, and we were so pleased with the service and the results that we chose them again to fit a new front door and garage door. Dennis and Robbie have been outstanding in their attention to detail during the fitting process and especially in their prompt handling of minor issues that arose. Their attitude throughout has been extremely helpful, friendly, and courteous. It’s often difficult to find a reliable tradesman when you don’t have any background information, but after reading the reviews and choosing Steve and his team, I couldn’t be happier. From providing detailed information and quotes, to reviewing the opening, helping choose the right door, and then having Dennis and Robbie carry out a seamless installation — they were absolutely fantastic throughout. The old conservatory roof leaked badly and my best option was replacement. I chose Cristal Windows and Doors following my initial contact because of the speed, competitiveness and clarity of the reply. The quotation was detailed and it was provided following helpful home visits by Steve and Dennis. The delivery of the roof units was ahead of schedule but Dennis and Robbie began work straight away. They worked cheerfully and effectively together and were a pleasure to talk to. Each day they always kept me advised of their progress and explained the intallation procedure and left the working area in a clean and tidy state especially after they had finished the total job. I had confidence in them and I am happy with the new roof. I can recommend the company and I have already accepted a quotation from them for replacement doors.

Our experience with Cristal Windows was seem-less from first quote to final installation. We found Steve to be professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had several quotes for the work carried out and Steve's pricing was exceptionally fair, he was also not pushy. We had multiple old double glazed windows replaced with Grey Rehau triple glazed windows. The lead time for the windows to be on site was 5 - 7 weeks. The windows arrived within 5.5 weeks; and Installation was completed within 4 working days. The Installation team (Dennis and Robbie) were courteous, and in our honest opinion they accomplished the best finished product, for which we are grateful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to have replacement windows.

I had all the old aluminium double-glazed windows and patio door in my house replaced with new PVC ones by Cristal Windows. Mr Steve Cornish provided detailed information and a competitive quote and was very helpful in answering all my queries. The work was done to the agreed schedule and budget. The fitters, Denis and Robbie, worked non-stop through freezing weather to finish the job on time. They were friendly and accommodating. I am very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the products. The windows and patio doors look great and the drafts from the previous units have gone. I have used Cristal Windows in the past when they replaced several windows and a back door, so I was happy to invite them to replace a sliding patio door. As before, the quote was competitive and the products offered of high specification. The team arrived on time and worked hard in the horrible January weather. The last time we bought UPVC double glazing was about 25 years ago when we moved in to our current property, so we started from scratch to find an installer - I wanted a local supplier (to me) & set about reading reviews of local companies, and based on those reviews we selected Cristal Windows - from the outset Steve Cornish was great - offering good advice from his years of experience. When it came to the installation the fitters Dennis & Robbie were excellent - always to happy to answer my queries and always being clean & tidy. The installation was completed on time and as per the quote. I have no hesitation in recommending Cristal Windows.

I did quite a lot of shopping about online to find a company who knew their stuff. Having been given misleading information by another double glazing company, I was lucky enough to discover Cristal Windows. From my first discussions with Steve and all the way through to installation, the process was highly professional and the end result was fantastic. Installation was performed on time and to a superb standard. Due to my autism I needed acoustic glass installed to block out neighbour noise and I might look to get some windows done in other rooms in future, as it has made a real difference. This is the second time I have used Cristal Windows. This was a big project in which they replaced all the windows at the back of the house and the back door as well a complete upgrade of the existing conservatory; replacement of all the windows and the door to the dining room, replacement of the polycarbonate roof with a solid "warm roof" and interior plastering. As before, Steve Cornish (the owner) was reliable, stuck to his original quote despite price inflation over the period, was very particular in what materials were being used and paid attention to the small details. The building work was largely done by (another) Steve, ably assisted in the earlier stages of construction, by Dennis and Robbie. They were all helpful, hard-working, tidy and careful in the work they did. Steve deserves a particular mention for going the extra mile, being resourceful in surmounting problems that arose and being very keen to do a first-class job. Overall, Cristal Windows have delivered a superb living space for us.

From the quote through to installation it was a smooth process, I was kept up to date during this time and Steve was always available to answer questions. Both the installers were excellent and the product is very good. There was a slight issue with one of the panes of glass but this was replaced very quickly and without question. The whole experience was worry free and I would definitely recommend Cristal Windows.

We had aluminium/PVC sliding patio doors removed and replaced with a new set. Steve was very informative as we went through the options and quotation process. The installation team were very competent and between them sorted out any issues due to installation in an older building. Focused, tidy and cleared up the patio and internal spaces before leaving. Steve Cornish and his amazing team are very professional, friendly and helpful, after getting quotes from 2 other window companies we thought Cristal Windows was the best overall/most competitive and we liked the fact they were a local company. Despite delays with supplies, etc... due to Covid which we expected (Steve kept us updated) and the incredibly challenging weather from the start of the work (rain, wind, snow etc...) our installers Steve D and Denis did a fantastic job, we were very impressed with their work ethic and determination to get things done properly/right, we are also very pleased with the new windows, they look great. Steve Cornish was professional, friendly and provided excellent advice. The quote for the new patio doors was very competitive. I felt I could trust Steve and placed my order. Given the difficult times during the Covid pandemic there was a minor delay in Steve’s supplier providing the new doors but he kept me well informed and the doors were installed within a few days of their delivery to Cristal. The installers were courteous, friendly and and did excellent job. I am impressed and felt this to be ‘old fashioned’ service. I feel comfortable in recommending Cristal to others.
