About
Former carpenter Michael Devaney started D&M kitchens in 1977 working from his parents garage and making his own kitchen units. 40 years later, he is the proud owner of a smart showroom located on the A4 Bath Road, just outside Maidenhead in Knowl Hill. The studio displays nine different styles of kitchens, ranging from solid wood to high gloss, together with a bedroom display and a large range of appliances, Corian, Silestone, laminate and granite worktops, sink tops and taps. D&M kitchens work with British suppliers to ensure they have a comprehensive range to offer you.
As a family business, you can be confident that D&M will get to know you and your kitchen during the design and installation process. There are no sales people or agents in between. The people you meet on your first visit to the showroom will be your regular contacts until your kitchen is complete.

A professional very hard working young man explained every step off the way as it went along. Clean & tidy in every way. A perfectionist in his work. Nothing was too trouble. We used D&M Kitchens as a local supplier and because they could offer us a start-to-finish complete kitchen, utility and downstairs loo rebuild. They moved walls and windows, rebuilt them, re-plastered, put in new plumbing and electrics, all new flooring and a fantastic new kitchen and utility room (plus a new downstairs loo). Kitchen fitters, flooring specialists, granite specialists, electricians and plasterers were all extremely good and did an excellent job. I doubt we have the cheapest new kitchen, utility and downstairs loo ever, but you get what you pay for and we have a brilliant new space, delivered extremely well and competently and by a company which I would recommend to anyone. The service and finish is second to none.

We were delighted with the service we received from D&M Kitchens. The fitters were true craftsmen, who were extremely hardworking and keen to do a good job for us. They consulted us where appropriate, and were always very professional. We had no qualms about leaving them to get on with it. They were approachable, polite, and generally nice to have around. Our kitchen has been transformed. Very highly recommended.

Whoever was involved, turned up on the expected day & was prompt. Michael, the owner, took me through each stage; I asked questions where appropriate. Robert, the fitter, was prompt, polite and checked measurements before progressing, explained everything to me and tidied up each day. I had obtained comparative quotes from 2 High Street Kitchen suppliers, but I don't consider I would have got such attention to detail & fantastic workmanship from them as I did from D & M Kitchens. Being a family run business they have a personal interest in maintaining their professionalism, quality of work and customer relationship. I would highly recommend this company.

They (a family run business) undertook the total service from kitchen planning through to completion including co-ordinating outside trades - electrician, plasterer and tiler. Nothing was too much trouble and the site was left as clean and tidy as possible each evening. Everyone involved was prompt and professional and the attention to detail was outstanding. They were also very pleasant to have in the house. I have already recommended them to another family and would have no qualms in recommending them to anybody.

Amendments to original quote prior to work commencing were requested efficiently. Operatives turns up as promised at start of job and proceeded in line with original 3 week timescale. The one day overrun was due to additional work being requested. Each day site was left clean and tidy. Any queries raised were answered, often with full explanation.
