David did an amazing job with our staircase renovation / under-stair cupboards. We're very happy with the result and quality of the work and we would highly recommend him for carpentry work.

Dave project managed and worked on a full refurb of my two bedroom 800 square foot flat. He was punctual everyday and really easy to deal with. The different contractors he sourced to do the work were equally good. The work was done in a very considerate way and my neighbours said all the guys were very friendly and kept things really tidy. Dave was involved with making and fitting new shelves, skirting and boxing in pipe work. He also hung seven new doors and fitted wood flooring. The finished job looked amazing and all the work was satisfactory and of a high standard. I highly recommend D Mills Carpentry Ltd.

David fitted a kitchen for us, which required a lot of detailed work and some bespoke eliminates, David's work was excellent; he was tidy, clean and very considerate while working. Nothing was too much trouble and he kept me updated the whole way through. I would recommend David to anyone and would use him again.

We have had custom radiator covers made and fitted and Dave has also fitted new front, back, and internal doors. Dave has always been friendly, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile for his clients. Work is always to a high standard and fair price.

David did a brilliant job building and installing my new office furniture and removing a garage door, sourcing and replacing with brickwork and installing a new door. David has done a few installations for me over the years and his work and communication is always above and beyond what is required - he took the time to understand my needs and found solutions to any problems that popped up, as they always do in these jobs! His craftmanship is second to none and I'm really happy with the final outcome.

I have used D Mills Carpentry for various projects over 7+ years now, including built in workspace and bookshelves/TV cabinet, a built in Murphy bed, Victorian panelling, built in bay window storage bench and additional timber panelling. The quality of Dave's work is always exceptional. He always takes time to understand the vision of what the client is trying to create, making valuable suggestions on alternatives or improvements where needed, which remain in keeping with the underlying objective. He also has a network of trusted contacts who he utilises to provide a seamless end to end service for the whole project, including electrics and painting/decorating. Dave is friendly and professional, as is the rest of his team - a pleasure to have in our home!

We had Dave come in to do a couple of things - firstly to remove and replace an old and very poorly built suspended timber floor in our kitchen with brand new joists & subfloor. Working with Dave (and Steve who was helping) was a real pleasure. From the outset he was very friendly & communicative, and did a great job of talking us through our different options. Because the original floor turned out to be in much worse condition than expected, this meant there was a bit more work & cost than originally expected, but Dave talked it through with us as soon as he knew what the expected cost might be which was greatly appreciated. I think Dave did a great job of keeping the costs down without compromising on the quality. After the floor was finished we also had Dave install some (undecorated) alcove cabinets for us which have also turned out great! Both Dave & Steve were always punctual, polite and tidy. They did a great job of keeping our flat as clean as possible (which isn't easy when taking out half the floor). We were always kept informed as to how the work was progressing. The finished work has been fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to have him back to do more!
