D & P Roofing & Building Ltd

I have used D&P Roofing twice in the past 18 months. The first was to completely re-roof our house. They provided a very competitive price and did not try and pressure me to use them. They gave me a date when they could start and they arrived within a few days of the estimated time. The slight delay was not their fault we had had some very bad weather. They worked hard and did an excellent job completing the work to time and price. All the team were very polite and left the site clean with all rubbish removed. There were a couple of complications which they dealt with at no extra cost to me; they also took the opportunity to add some additional insulation to the eaves which were easy with the roof removed, again this was done at no extra cost. In summary, they are reliable and do a good job; I would definitely use them again.

Very good work. They diagnosed and fixed a small leak in the roof leading to an intermittent damp patch on a bedroom wall. Kept us fully informed all the way along. Their attendance on site was exemplary, particularly important as we had to negotiate a complex access agreement with a neighbour during COVID, in order to access the job. Very fair price..

This company are experts in what they do. The quality of the job they did for me was very high. I had a very badly leaking roof which two other companies had failed to stop. D & P took much more time to look at the problem and came up with a solution that not only fixed the leak but also ensured that I will never suffer weather damage again. Paul provided a profession service at an affordable price, while very polite and friendly, when working on site. Works carried out to high standard, including repairs to roof gully and roof tiles. In addition to fixing the above problems Paul took time to explain what had happened and to point out other problems of which I was unaware also, potential solutions. Have no reservations in recommending D & P Roofing and Building very highly, to family, friends and members of the wider community.

We had an internal wall built (including internal windows), an external window replaced, some electrical work and extensive plastering carried out. All works were carried out within the original quote (no nasty hidden extras!). The work was done to a good standard and we were particularly impressed with some of the little touches like getting new skirting board cut to be identical to the original, very fancy, Edwardian skirting board. We found them to be friendly, honest people who we could trust with full access when we were out at work. They cleaned-up after themselves, kept us updated with work plans and time-lines and were easy to contact by phone or email whenever we had a question. Would definitely recommend.

Despite a death in the family, the firm worked steadily and cleanly to finish a great job. Pleasant workmen who when they discovered that one too the uncovered was deficient in insulation the topped upshot was there to modern standards without adding to the cost.

Second time we've used D&P after they did a full roof replacement for us last year. This time we called them when we had water coming in through our bedroom ceiling (nothing to do with the re-roof!). Dale took the call even though it was the weekend and Paul visited the following Monday and identified the issue was the gutters. Gave us a great price for replacement and arranged the scaffolding. Work was completed to a very high standard and even though the job ended up being more complicated than first thought, D&P honoured the original price. Friendly and helpful throughout, these guys are brilliant to deal with, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

An absolutely sterling job. Great communication throughout the whole process and a complete home transformation at the end! They also provided great assistance in securing a decorator to paint the exterior (windows included), which along with the new roof, looks fantastic! I have no hesitation in recommending D & P Roofing & Building Ltd and should the need arise, I will definitely use their services again.
