Our role is to solve causes of damp and specify work. Once identified, the remedial work is often minimal. We remain independent with no conflicts of interest.
Guarantees; fee repaid if you are dissatisfied with our work or we find rising damp. Rising damp is from groundwater, water under the water table, which rarely affects walls.
Rising damp is misdiagnosed due to:
1. contractor vested interests,
2. source of water can be hard to identify,
3. applying slurry to treat rising damp hides water for a while. However, there is an increased risk of ROT, MOULD etc.
