I'm Daniel Bastos, a professional painter and decorator established in the Wimbledon and South West London area for 17 years.
I place exacting and high standards upon myself in the quality of my work and take great pride in the painting and decorating I do… it's getting the detail right that makes all the difference to me, and all the difference to you.
I take on work throughout Wimbledon and Merton, across South West London and Surrey and welcome all kinds of decorating projects from a single room to the whole house.
I have built up a strong list of very satisfied clients who I work for regularly. Consequently a large part of the painting and decorating projects I undertake come through referrals and recommendations. I currently have clients stretching from central London to Guildford.

Daniel repainted our exterior door and window frames. He always arrived punctually and worked diligently and considerately, leaving everything clean and tidy at the end of each day and at the end of the job. His work was of a very high standard.

Daniel decorated or bedroom. He responded promptly to our request for him to visit to give us a price for the work. On each day he arrived on time and carried out his work with little inconvenience to us even though the work was in a one bedroom flat. He completed the work on time and left the bedroom ready for us to move back in even cleaning the window. The quality of his work was of a very high standard. It was a pleasure having him working for us.

Daniel did a fantastic job decorating our three story house both internally and externally. He is meticulous and takes great care. He also has a great eye for colours and helped us not make mistakes. Daniel came when he said he would. He removed all the old wall paper (a long job in one of the hot spells), then returned after the walls had been replastered to paint the walls, skirting, dado & picture rails. He (and his co-worker) did an excellent job and worked quickly without cutting corners. He was on the expensive side though.

Would thoroughly recommend Daniel and his work. He squeezed in our job to his busy schedule, arrived on time and communicated well both before and during the project. He worked diligently and considerately, taking care to cover our belongings alongside thoroughly cleaning up at the end of the project. Work included multiple rooms being redecorates and painted. It was all completed to a very high standard. 5* review all round and I would definitely use again.

We have been really impressed by Daniel and his colleague, Plinio. They were very professional, always arrived exactly on time and worked hard for at least 8 hours each day,hardly taking a break. Their work was excellent and they made very helpful suggestions re colours etc. We had most of our rooms repainted, at least in part and they did all they could to minimise the inconvenience to us. They moved furniture, pictures etc for us, and replaced them too when the work was completed. The work was completed on time and on budget and they were really pleasant to have in the house and were also very tolerant of our over friendly spaniel!

Daniel has just completed painting the exterior of our house. Before the work started, he was responsive to queries about timing, and kept in touch until the agreed date. On starting the job, he arrived punctually. Despite having to cope with the rainy summer, the work was done to the schedule he had given us, and to the estimate. We are delighted with the result. His attention to detail was excellent, and he was willing to tackle some hard to reach features that other painters were unwilling to take on. He was patient, courteous and took care to consult on issues which arose during the work.

I appointed Daniel Bastos Ltd to paint the exterior walls of my Victorian end of terrace property, which were badly in need of a good coat of paint. Daniel was very professional and courteous - from the moment he came to assess the work I required until the paint work was done. He and Parnelli arrived very promptly every morning, kept me informed of their progress and worked diligently during the day. They paid great attention to detail, repaired the parts of the walls that had lost part of the render, primed this, and gave the three sides of my home the two coats of paint. The work was completed on 5th June. The exterior walls look new! I am extremely pleased with the results and I would definitely employ Daniel to do any paint work that I require in the future and would recommend him to family and friends.

I was looking to have my place painted and found Daniel’s name online. He was utterly professional from the very start. He was always available to communicate and gave me a quote which I was very happy with. His work is top quality.
