Replaced domestic fuse box. Work was done at the agreed date and time and to the agreed budget. Communication was excellent throughout. darren was friendly, happy to explain stuff and professional throughout.

Darren did a variety of electrical throughout the house. - new plug sockets, putting up new light fittings. From the outset Darren was very helpful, knowledgeable and put us at ease. His work was of a very high standard and he managed to hide all wiring for the new sockets. Once he had left you wouldn't have known that he had been in the house. He worked all day to get the job done but this did not change the agreed quote. Would have no hesitation in recommending Darren in the future.

We had use of Darren's services in January 2019, and we were grateful of his response to our request for completing work on our electric circuits, to provide us with the proper certification, which had not been completed by a previous electrician. This latest job was to check one of our circuits which had been damaged by an escape of water, and to fit a replacement Central Heating control system. Darren is a very friendly person who is very approachable, as well as being very knowledgeable in his chosen field of work. Darren added 2 extra sockets for me and updated the switches on my fuse board. He explained what needed doing in plain English, which gave me confidence in his knowledge. Darren replaced a number of internal lights and ceiling fans, corrected wiring in conservatory which was over 15 years old and not compliant, adding fused spurs where required. Carried out additional work not on quote. Cost and Value very good. Work achieved in one day very good. Kept me informed, highlighted and corrected problems as they were uncovered. Quality of work and attention to detail great. Good guy to deal with. Will be my first port of call for all Electrical work in the future.

Work actioned and completed on the day agreed. I felt as if there was personal pride from the contractor in doing a great job. Cleaned up brilliantly once the job was completed. Followed up with a call ensuring all was OK as I was out at work during the installation. Noticed an issue with another item and included this in the fix without any quibbles.

Having just purchased a house that needed complete renovation it was important to get the electrical work completed early in the process. Darren responded quickly to my request for a quote for an electrical certificate. He attended on time and was very helpful in explaining what he was doing. He also completed follow up work efficently. I have no hesitation recommending this friendly and efficient electrician.

Darren fitted some external sockets and an interior light. He was very responsive, helpful and was able to fit in part of the work which we needed urgently as soon as possible around his other jobs. This was all done for a very reasonable price.

Darren carried out replacement of the old fuse box in our house with a new consumer unit and also replaced the old strip light in the kitchen with an led one. We'd had difficulty getting a quote for the work from other electricians so were glad to get one from Darren. Shortly after getting the quote, the Coronavirus lockdown came into force so the work was delayed. However he kept in touch and we we eventually quite happy to leave him in the house on his own to do the work. He managed to complete the job on time and with the minimum of mess. We are very happy with the work and would happily recommend Darren to anyone.

Darren was able to complete an electrical check so that we have a certificate that was required. He came prepared with PPE and worked carefully keeping to the required distance. His contact prior to visit was excellent with reminder sent the day before. He was on time and completed within the time estimated. Invoice and paperwork were emailed the following day.

Darren Spencer was employed to replace an old consumer unit and carry out the subsequent necessary safety checks. His quote was received the day after his site visit (unlike other contractors who had to be chased). It was comprehensive, detailed and although not the cheapest it specified the highest standard of protection. His whole approach to dealing with the customer is very professional yet friendly and he provided additional written information about electrical safety in the home.

Darren was recommended by my son Philip, who was given his name by another satisfied customer so we felt confident in asking him to quote for us. Our house is 1930's style and many sockets were still single and we wanted them made double. As Andrew sight is poor and his hands stiff, large rocker switches were fitted, special plugs with easier switches were also fitted. Darren is a delight, works with purpose, tidies up after himself, and arrived on time. I also like that he kept in touch before the date of job and we felt confident that he would turn up on time.

Contacted Darren for a free quote on some work I needed doing, Darren was knowledgable and happy to advise on what should be done and what shouldn't, received the quote quickly and proceeded to book in a date all very easy and smooth. On the day of the work received a text advising running late due to traffic but was on site quickly after so no problems for me there. Cracked on with the work straight away and within a few hours all done and no mess left behind, Darren took the time to explain everything he had done to me and left me feeling I could contact him if any questions/issues arose in the future. All in all a grand job done.

Although the job needed was a small one, Darren turned up on time and carried out the work in an efficient manner. He also fixed another problem at the same time.
