Gone Solar was born from its Director, Nathan Goldsworthy’s passion for sustainable utilities and an ambition to make them affordable and accessible to all.

Recognising that the future of energy supply must be driven by renewable resources and that this may be daunting for some, the team set out to build a business that could offer customers a service which would make the process of ‘change’ as straight forward and stress free as possible.

Gone Solar offer a personalised customer experience journey , providing jargon free consultation and responsive assistance from enquiry through to aftercare.

We have been delighted with service from the initial enquiry, quick responses and always helpful, followed up with email information/confirmation. If they were unable to contact us by phone it was always followed up by email. Everything arrived as expected and the day of installation was excellent. Gone Solar were the very helpful from the start and easy to communicate with. Their pricing was competitive and I preferred their equipment and installation plans to other quotes. All the work was carried out on schedule with one slight delay due to an issue with my existing fuse board which Gone Solar were able to resolve. The workmen were very approachable and wiling to answer any queries I had about installation and equipment. I have been very happy with the neatness of the installation and the follow up communication to get the necessary certification for feedback tariff to the National Grid. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Gone Solar.

Our PV and storage solution has been installed to a high standard and is working well. Communication was good throughout, though when the installation was delayed a couple of times due to weather a bit more explanation would have been helpful (it wasn't the weather at my location it was a knock on from earlier jobs, I didn't find that out until later). I had asked for solution slightly different from their proposal and there was a minor issue with the required equipment not being delivered but this was soon dealt with. Overall, despite the hiccups, I am very happy with solution and the way it was installed.

I am extremely happy. They were very efficient and turned up on time. Work was completed in the day and system was fully operational by the evening. They cleaned everything up also and left no mess. The scaffolding was removed very quickly on completion too. The after care service is great.

Craig and the team at Gone Solar, installed a dual aspect solar PV solution with battery storage. They could not have been more helpful throughout the entire process, from answering all my questions prior to the installation, and planning it to meet the specific needs of my property to coming back after the installation to check everything was working properly and making a minor adjustment to the system to improve the performance. I'd be delighted to recommend Gone Solar to anyone looking for similar work to be completed.
