We live in a conservation area, so planning permission was needed. Derwent Windows we’re helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. From our first showroom visit to installation we found all staff professional. All deadlines were met, the installation went smoothly with care taken working around garden plants and tidying after. We are very pleased with the finished job, the sash windows look fabulous and no painting! We will use Derwent Windows again and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

After a couple of our neighbours had used Derwent Windows we decided to contact them and enquire what they could do for us. What an excellent experience from start to finish. Not just the range of window options, but the attention to detail, the communication process and of course the fitting of the windows. One particular point to note was the quality of the window fitters. They were an excellent bunch of guys. If anyone asks about our windows we have no hesitation in recommending Derwent Windows.

Had a new front door and 3 windows installed in 2019 which we were really pleased with. Had a new utility door installed this year and again really pleased with the process throughout - everyone was friendly, and professional. Great service and the door is looking great.

Well, what a joy, what an experience, what a result. 'Period Orangery' built in 3 months to a high specification with large sash cord windows and lantern with tumbled facing bricks from north cot brick with fabulous Aluco doors linking to the main lounge. Derwent during the build period never missed a beat and their quiet focus on the quality of work and detail was ever-present. Beyond being built to architectural with this level of focus I was very proud to be part of the team. Anticipating a Jaguar, we have built a Bentley.

We have recently had a brand new front door and stained glass top light fitted at our new house and we are delighted with the quality and look of the product and fitting. The communication after visiting the showroom was good and whenever I needed to call for an update and I could get straight through and speak to the person handling our order. We had a little hiccup along the way with some of the glass being damaged during removal however I cannot fault the service provided in response to this to get it resolved and we have ended up with an even better toplight as a result. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly the fitters workmanship is top quality. Overall, we are delighted with the door and service provided. I would 100% recommend.

In my experience Derwent Windows appear to be a well managed company whose service is of a high quality at all levels through the whole workforce. From assessment to completion of the work they give attention to detail and always put the customer first. Yes they are more expensive than other companies offering window replacement but my belief is that it is well worth the extra expense to deal with a company that operate with integrity and employ a skilled and trained workforce. I recommend them without hesitancy.

Derwent replaced 16 of our Sash and casement windows on our Victorian house. From start to finish they have been very easy to work with and are the opposite of a hard sales window company. There work is second to none and we are really pleased with the windows we have had so many compliments already. They aren’t the cheapest on the market however they are worth every penny to know we have had the best job done. Would highly recommend and will be using them again when we have our extension.

Derwent Windows provided the best customer service we have ever experienced. They were extremely helpful, very professional and the standard of work from the fitters was outstanding. Whilst the windows are not the cheapest, the quality is high and we would definitely choose them again.

Derwent Windows gave an excellent service from the quotation assessment to the detailed site survey and then to the installation. I thought the nature of the site survey was particularly useful; we discussed the nuances of the installation and they were able to answer all of my queries in a detailed yet easy-to-understand manner. Therefore, I was very confident in the installation ahead, which mostly, I would not be at home to witness. The quality of the work carried out was very good. The sash windows provided are of excellent quality and the wooden architrave and facias (made on-site, at my home) that surround the internal of each window fit perfectly between the window and the wall. The slightly high price of the installation was largely driven by the need for quality sash windows that are in keeping with the age of my house and the conservation area in which I live. Informal quotes from other companies using the same type of manufactured sash windows gave a similar ball-park price. I was very pleased with the service provided by Derwent Windows and would recommend them to future potential customers.

We had a solid wood sash window replaced by Derwent Windows. The quality of the product is top rate & the fitters did an excellent job, very thorough, polite & exceptionally well cleaned during & at the end of the job. The time from order placed to fitting was very considerable , but that is the same very where I imagine. They are not the cheapest windows on the market, but I would rather pay a premium for the product quality & craftmanship. I would definitely use again & would recommend Derwent Windows

Derwent Windows were able to provide arched timber windows entirely in keeping with our early 19th Century Old Toll House. The transformation to our house has been amazing. So many neighbours have commented positively on the appearance of these windows including some older people who remember what this house used to look like. Comments like ' your new windows look stunning' have frequently been made. We are delighted with the difference these windows have made to our home - not only in appearance but also in better heat and sound insulation. The team did an excellent job and were a pleasure to work with. Follow-up after sales was also very good. There is no doubt that this project was expensive but we were prepared to pay for quality and see it as an investment in our property. But mainly we see it as a great improvement to our home on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.

So glad I made the journey to Ripley to see Derwent Windows. Had planned to used an installer locally but none of them return my call after quote stage. Derwent were brilliant from the moment I rang them. Arrange a time to visit their showroom and even what bus to catch to their showroom. A survey was done within a week of the visit. Their knowledge and customer care was so good, I put an order in straight away. The actually installation went smoothly. The fitter was great - explain everything that was going to happen and was so meticulous in the installation and tidied up afterwards. I am thrilled with my door. Wish I chosen them from the beginning. Thank you to all the team for their help!!!

Project went to plan. We chose our preferred door. Surveyor came out to measure and following his visit felt reassured that we’d made the right choice. Proof of the pudding though is installation. The installation team were first class and we are thrilled with the door. All round first class service and product.

We have used Derwent windows 3 times now and would highly recommend. From start to finish everyone is great to deal with and the standard of the work is second to none.

We can't rate Derwent Windows highly enough. They conducted the initial site visit and provided wisdom and expertise about what our house may have looked like originally to help choose the right products. He was very patient while we looked at different options and we felt able to trust him. They then coordinated surveys and commissioned builders for us to do lintels and stonework. All calls and appointments happened when they were agreed, no issues and any sticking points were talked through clearly. Everyone in the office organised the quotations and final details without any fuss or mistakes. Then the builders and fitters did an absolutely superb job - we have had multiple comments from neighbours and passers by about what a great improvement and how sympathetic the new windows are. They are quality products that look set to last. We are very glad we trusted Derwent with this work.

Rob and the team from Derwent Windows have designed and built us a superb orangery. The team have been consistently hard-working, punctual, and professional throughout the process. Rob has site managed the project throughout. He has always kept us informed at each stage of construction, providing daily updates. The finished build is outstanding in quality and beyond our expectations. This is the third time we have used the company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

We were looking for traditional sash windows to fit into a renovation of a Georgian property. Derwent really impressed when we saw the product in the showroom. Cost was not excessive for the type of product. Fitting went extremely well with the professional installers doing a clean, quick and beautiful job. I will use them again for the next part of the renovation.

Thanks for all your help and advice over the past months, the whole service Derwent provided from the day we came over to the showroom to view in April, Andrew expertly surveying the work, to admin answering our many questions, until the fitters completed the work has been absolutely first class. It has been great to work with a company that take so much effort and pride in delivering such good customer service not only in ensuring the quality of the finished product, but also in the care, detail, politeness, personal service and interest shown by all the staff involved throughout the project. A particular thanks to Dan, Mark, Ben and Calum who worked tirelessly in difficult conditions to fit the windows. The detail, care and effort they put in to ensure the finished article was perfect, was superb. They really were all excellent throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Our old windows had been in for probably 150 years, so you can imagine the amount old dust and dirt created from behind the frames once they were removed. The fitters worked diligently to clean up after themselves and return the rooms to pristine condition each night, leaving us with very little work to do, for which we were understandably very grateful. The windows both upstairs and downstairs look great, many thanks. We will definitely be telling all our friends about Derwent Windows and look forward to working with you again in the near future

From measuring to fitting, nothing was left to chance. Windows arrived on time and were speedily and professionally fitted. Everything was “made good” afterwards with no fuss. In fact, I was so impressed both with the quality of product and fitting, I ordered another set to match. As I say, a first class company with first class staff.
