I rang Ian after feeling out of our depth with a new vanity unit we were attempting to install ourselves. He was recommended by another plumber that I had reached out to first and I had read these reviews so asked him if he was available. He came out the next day at the time he said he would and got straight into it. He gave us options of how to move the waste pipe and explained thoroughly the thought process for each option. He completed the work quickly and professionally even leaving us some extra pieces to make our lives easier when we completed the rest of the work ourselves. He answered my many questions clearly and even gave us advice on some other issues we were experiencing with the bath and shower. He put shoe covers on when in the house and left the house exactly as he had arrived. Such a professional and friendly guy, we would absolutely use his services again in the future. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Would reiterate all the positive comments on previous reviews for Ian. We needed some pipework fixing fairly urgently before a family event. Ian responded really quickly, coming out to assess and examine the issue straight away and then completing the job all within a couple of days. It's obvious that Ian is an experienced and really knowledgeable tradesman. It helps of course that he is a really friendly, polite and chatty guy. Most importantly he does a very professional job whilst keeping you informed about what needs to be done and how it will be accomplished. After a few less satisfactory plumber experiences in the past it’s great to know that we have a local small company who you know can be trusted to do a great job. Thoroughly recommend.

We have used Ian many times over the past decade for various jobs, so when it came to installing our recent combi boiler upgrade, we contacted him for a consultation/quote. On both days of the job Ian turned up on time, set his work up and promptly started. This man is a real grafter who has a professional attitude, and cares about his standards of work- some of the pipework he did under our kitchen worktop was seriously impressive. He is an amicable man, answered our plumbing questions with clarity, and kept us updated as the job progressed- he even did an extra job for us, (supplied & fitted a new radiator), which wasn't part of the original quote. He also cleaned up at the end of the job, removed the old items, and ensured all was ok. We highly recommend Ian for all aspects of plumbing work.

Ian serviced my boiler. He arrived on time, did a good job, gave me useful advice and was helpful and pleasant throughout. I would definitely use him again and I recommend him unreservedly.

One of my radiators wasn't heating up and after trying to troubleshoot it myself for hours, Ian came out and fixed it within a few minutes.

Ian correctly diagnosed that my toilet cistern was cracked. He ordered a new one for me and thoughtfully suggested a higher-than-normal one, given my osteoarthritis in my knees. It was fitted today and works perfectly. He cleaned up thoroughly and made sure that recyclable packaging went in the correct bin. Outstanding!

Ian was the first tradesperson we had in to do work when we bought a new house. That was a small job to seal off some old gas fires. However, I was so impressed by his work even on that small job that he has done several more jobs for us since, including fitting a new bathroom. Starting the basics, Ian gets things right: he answers the phone, turns up when he says he will, provides proper quotes and invoices and certainly doesn't cut any corners. But it is the consistently exceptional service Ian provides that truly commends him. His attention to detail on all aspects is first-rate, and he genuinely cares about doing the job well and right. He has made a number of suggestions to us of how to improve our plans for the property, and you can know that when he does so it is not because he is trying to cut corners or wants to make a job more expensive; it is because he wants the job done well. We are so pleased to have found Ian on this site. He well and truly sets the standard that all tradespeople should be aiming to meet.

Ian was really helpful. He explained how to slow down the leak until he could visit. He came when he said he would. He fixed the problem. Very friendly and reassuring.

My gas combi-boiler suddenly began leaking water. I was not satisfied with the previous plumber who had serviced the boiler so contacted Ian after spotting him on Which Trusted Trader. He answered my call immediately, and agreed to attend two days later. He would have come sooner but I could not arrange to be in. He quickly identified the problem, explained it to me, and it was fixed within about half-an-hour. I thought the price charged was very fair, and I found Ian to be friendly and he explained everything in understandable language. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again myself.
