Ian came to quote for the new boiler within a couple of days of my request. His price was competitive and the reviews were good so I gave the go ahead. He arrived at the agreed time and carried the work out on schedule. Everything was left clean and tidy. The bill was as expected. He explained all the details about using the boiler and controls satisfactorily. I am thoroughly pleased with all Ian's work and would happily use him again. He and his colleague were both very complimentary about my coffee!

Ian replaced my boiler with a high level of skill and expertise. Old pipework in a difficult corner of the kitchen cabinet could have proved tricky but Ian took it in his stride. Also refitting the cabinet around the new boiler Ian was highly professional kept me informed of process of the work,cleared everything away and put covers over his shoes when walking on carpets.

Ian diagnosed what the problem was in an exchange of messages. He turned up exactly when he said he would. He replaced the kitchen tap quickly and tidily. Ian is friendly and very helpful. His charges were very reasonable.

I had a slow leak into downstairs ceiling from somewhere in bathroom above. Ian responded to my call immediately and came to house quickly. He was very pleasant and considerate to minimise the impact of identifying and accessing the problem. I found him to be knowledgeable, thorough and neat. He came back to put back the tiles he’d carefully removed - you’d never know! Price was good. I’d not used Ian before but will definitely be calling him next time I need a plumber.

Ian completed a plumbing refit of our house in Manchester including the installation of new radiators, new boiler, new mains gas and water pipes, a whole new bathroom and separate toilet, and a kitchen tap/sink. It was a complicated project at times, and it needed someone with care and good planning, and a willingness to talk through each step. Ian was generous with his advice and time to help us achieve the best results. His workmanship is excellent, and he'll often do that little bit extra because he genuinely cares about getting it right. He is extremely reliable on time and communication is very good, and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him.

I had a leaking hot tap in my garage. I called Ian, and within a few hours, he had assessed the problem, replaced the tap and fixed the issue. Ian was absolutely brilliant. Great guy, great service and a good price. I would definitely recommend him.

I rang Ian after feeling out of our depth with a new vanity unit we were attempting to install ourselves. He was recommended by another plumber that I had reached out to first and I had read these reviews so asked him if he was available. He came out the next day at the time he said he would and got straight into it. He gave us options of how to move the waste pipe and explained thoroughly the thought process for each option. He completed the work quickly and professionally even leaving us some extra pieces to make our lives easier when we completed the rest of the work ourselves. He answered my many questions clearly and even gave us advice on some other issues we were experiencing with the bath and shower. He put shoe covers on when in the house and left the house exactly as he had arrived. Such a professional and friendly guy, we would absolutely use his services again in the future. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Would reiterate all the positive comments on previous reviews for Ian. We needed some pipework fixing fairly urgently before a family event. Ian responded really quickly, coming out to assess and examine the issue straight away and then completing the job all within a couple of days. It's obvious that Ian is an experienced and really knowledgeable tradesman. It helps of course that he is a really friendly, polite and chatty guy. Most importantly he does a very professional job whilst keeping you informed about what needs to be done and how it will be accomplished. After a few less satisfactory plumber experiences in the past it’s great to know that we have a local small company who you know can be trusted to do a great job. Thoroughly recommend.
