DPP Plastering

DPP Plastering is highly recommended. I have known this trader for a number of years and will always return to him for all my plastering work. He is very skilled, efficient , clean and tidy. All my dealings with him have been on schedule and on budget which is competitively priced. Above all he is a pleasure to have about the house.

A late review due to personal circumstances. However, Derek came and quoted for a small bedroom with not so great walls once paper was off. He advised the way to proceed and my wife and I did more than half the removal work prior to Derek coming in. He and his assistant then removed more after all. For 3 days they worked solidly getting things to a point where they could do the plastering, cleaning up each day afterwards. No time to spare and after all their efforts they made a great job of leaving the place looking really good for painting etc. Good workers, no trouble and happy that they did what they did. Not the cheapest maybe, but certainly someone who will be sure you understand the job.

Derek has plastered several rooms in our home now, small and large (ceilings boarded/plastered, walls skimmed) and the quality of his work is 10/10. He's an incredibly hard worker and the finish he produces is superb... flawless every-single-time. He's also the tidiest plasterer I've ever used - dust sheets everywhere (even these are 100% clean and look like new), cleans up at the end of every day and leaves no mess whatsoever when the job is completed. He even hosed down the path from my front door to his vehicle! Price-wise I always get multiple quotes and DPP is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive - he seems to price just right. If you've never used a plasterer before, or would like to try someone new I can honestly say you would not be taking any kind of risk using this very professional company. BIG RECOMMENDATION.

Derek completed two plastering jobs for us and took great care to produce an excellent quality finish. He discussed the work to be done and was very friendly. He finished the work meticulously which was important to me as one of the area to be plastered was just inside the front door. He left everything clean and tidy.

Derek did a superb job on our bedroom walls. He is a perfectionist and over 3 days worked 8 till 5, left a smooth, professional finish, protected wardrobe doors and contents and left absolutely no mess whatsoever - after he'd gone, you wouldn't have known he'd been with us. Great guy - a pleasure to have in the house. We will be knocking on his door again before too long, to get other rooms done. Highly recommended.

The plastering Derek did for us was excellent - he pays great attention to detail and and is a very clean and tidy worker. We highly recommend him.

I found Del's details on Which? Trusted Trader and now wouldn't use any other plasterer. He has plastered two rooms for us so far (walls and ceilings) and we will be asking him to do others in due course. His standard of plastering is excellent, he is 100% reliable and is very clean and tidy (covering carpets, wiping down windows once the job is finished etc). His quotes and timescales are accurate and he offers very good advice about how best to do the job. I have found Del to be very hard working, polite and trustworthy and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We had derek in to plaster our newly built office, party room and kitchen area in our Trampoline Park in Orpington. His work is brilliant and he must be the tidiest contractor we have come across. We asked Del to plaster a bedroom and he has done an excellent job. I had knocked old damaged plaster off to the bricks in some places. Del re-boarded the ceiling, repaired the damage and re-plastered the room. He took great care to cover carpets and clear up afterwards. I would definitely recommend him. He is punctual friendly and works very hard.

The plastering of our room was completed to the highest standard. Del is reliable, punctual and extremely personable. He protected our floors with clean dustsheets, clearing up at the end of each day and carefully wiping down the wooden stair-treads where dustsheets couldn’t be used. Job consisted of skimming walls and over-boarding ceiling and skimming of large downstairs room. Nothing extra to add that has not been said by other reviewers. But to bring reviews right up to date.. On time, complete protection laid to cover my flooring (wood parquet) minimum mess made and full clean up at the end of each day and to finish superb job done . Highly recommended without hesitation. I hired Del to skim some internal walls after they were sound-proofed. His work is excellent - all walls perfectly smooth and flat from floor to ceiling. He was punctual, very efficient and very personable. His services are reasonably priced given the quality of the work produced.

Before; flaky, water damaged ceiling. After; smooth, great finish, clean & no mess (really...no mess!) This is by far the best work we've had done in a long time. The workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. Del is courteous, friendly and arrives on time. Like other reviewers I'm completely satisfied with the whole process. Derek is by far one of the best tradesmen I have used over the past 25 years. The house was left immaculate each evening and his attention to detail and the finish he produces is fantastic. Very polite friendly chap. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use him again
