We used E&W in July 2026 to replace our existing combi boiler. Very pleased with their service. Their engineer was very pleasant, informative and highly professional. Plus their pricing was competitive. Couldn’t ask for more!

Leaking pipe under kitchen sink was causing issues and I had been waiting to hear back from another plumber I'd had recommended, with no luck. Contacted E&W in the morning and they found me a timeslot for the same day, and the whole thing was sorted that afternoon. The engineer was prompt, courteous, extremely efficient and clear about what was required. Also was up front about the additional bit involved in fixing the problem, so no surprises. Very impressed overall, with the service provided and the price, and E&W will be my first port of call should I need work done in the future.

Called out E&W to fix a leaking pipe beneath the sink. attended promptly and despite an extremely difficult job with restricted access managed to fix on the day and also improve drainage to eliminate future blocking issues. thoroughly impressed and will use again

Only a small job, but carried out very efficiently and effectively. I e-mailed the company on Thursday 4th, they replied the next day, Friday 5th, offering to do the job on Monday 8th between 8.00 & 9.00. I accepted the quotation during the weekend and received a speedy confirmation The engineer arrived on time, sorted out the problem I had seen, and noticed that the central heating also needed re-pressurising. This was carried out within the original quotation I cannot fault either the engineer or the office team who dealt with e-mails. I especially liked that they are up-front with their average prices. E&W are now bookmarked for when I next need a competent plumber.

Very impressed by the professional approach of the engineer that serviced my boiler. Texted me prior to arrival, was quick but thorough, tidy and informative while the boiler was serviced. And I think the price is very reasonable. Would 100% recommend this company.

When my boiler broke down E&W were amazing. The engineer was professional, very efficient and explained clearly what the issue was and ways to fix it. The necessary parts were ordered and fitted within a few days. The price was extremely competitive, service excellent and I was kept informed at all times. My boiler had been having issues with the hot water supply, where it would cut-out on HW demand. An engineer came out to investigate and determined it was a combination of the heat exchanger and thermistor. Living in a hard water area, the tiny channels in the heat exchanger had clogged. I was provided with a quotation to do the work and a date arranged. Today the boiler was fixed and now have hot water available again. Each of the engineers who attented, for the service, fixing of the boiler and fitting a new kitchen tap, were highly professional and friendly. Lots of information was given as to what was what and the work that had been done. They don't do any unnecessary work and new parts are used only if the existing ones can't be fixed. The E&W Plumbing & Heating company ethics are clearly that of a family run business, who actually care about customer satisfaction and the desire for repeat buisness - which they will have from me for all future needs. Well done E&W Plumbing & Heating!

E&W came this morning to investigate two leaks in our bathroom. Both issues were resolved efficiently and promptly. I was particularly impressed that the plumber had every spare part that he needed with him!
