Errol came on the date agreed to fit the kitchen and quickly set about removing the old and preparing for the electrician to put in new wiring and sockets. However, he discovered some problems behind the old units whenthey were removed. He then sorted this problem and although this took an extra day or so the extra charge was very reasonable. After the units arrived he then sorted out some glitches as some were not what we wanted and also went that extra mile to insert some shelves and a new unit in an unused space. We now have a smart new kitchen which I hope will last a long time.

I am very happy with his workmanship and Overall result. He arrived on time and left everything neat and tidy.

We recently hired Errol to build fitted alcove storage (cabinets with bookcase on top) on either side of our chimney breast, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Errol provided a quote for a fire door and to add threashold strips to wooden flooring. On the day, Errol arrived promptly and wasted no time in getting on with the job in hand. Errol removed my old door and supplied the new one I had picked as per my order. He worked hard and at a good pace - although he didn't rush working on some difficult areas until everything was completed to perfection. Errol is a modest and friendly man who clearly takes pride in working to a high standard. As others have said, Errol automatically cleaned everything up and took away any rubbish as well as my old door at the end of his work. I am delighted with the end results of my new fire door as well as the finishing to my flooring. I will happily recommend Errol in the future.

Errol supplied and fitted several fire-rated items to my front door which leads into a communal area in a block of flats. He did the same for three neighbours' doors. From quotation to finish, Errol could not have been more professional. There were some complications along the way which were not of his doing. He could not have been more helpful in dealing with these complications which I had thrown at him before he started the work. He has a very pleasant, outgoing personality. His standard of work and cleaning up afterwards was exemplary. The four doors were completed at the agreed time and budget. I will have no hesitation in using Errol again if the need arises. We had various quotes but as Errol had done some work for us previously we knew his work was of high quality. He arrived early and worked all day until the job was completed. He left everything clean and tidy, we were so happy with his work. The wardrobes look great and he managed to get them to fit exactly in the space even though it is an old building and not completely level. Would highly recommend Errol for his workmanship, work ethic and reliability.

Errol is the best workman we've ever used – in every aspect: punctuality, design, setup, adaptability, pleasant manner, good humoured and execution. A friend of ours (who is no slouch at DIY in his own home and in helping others) came in the evening after Errol had finished and was amazed: "WHO did this?" he asked, somewhat astounded. Then — slowly running his fingers over all the edges of the box built (to hold our new faux-fire electric heater) in an opened-up brick fireplace — our friend simply whistled. What else is there to say?

Mr. Vaughan was efficiency itself. He arrived very promptly to survey the work to be done. He was equally prompt in providing an estimate which was well within the bounds of reason. Once the estimate was agreed he immediately ordered the door to be replaced and very quickly afterwards arranged to carry out the work, the whole process taking well less than 2 weeks. The work was carried out impeccably to my entire satisfaction and site was left perfectly clean. I have already recommended Mr. Vaughan to another potential client.

I’m absolutely delighted with Errol’s work. He turned up promptly to replace the whole fascia to my garage door and re-hang an internal door. Errol designed, created, and installed two cupboards for us today. It was a pleasure to see his skills at work, and he couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. We used Errol for a small job to move fitted bedroom furniture and adjust the cupboards for the new space. It was a half a day job and we very lucky that Errol was available as he had a cancellation. Errol has just completed my main bedroom project: dismantled/disposed off the built-in wardrobes/cabinets and drawer units; replaced all of those with modern units to my total satisfaction without any fuss. Would gladly use him for any future projects. Clean and tidy 'artisan'.

Rather than a complete new kitchen we decided on an update of what we already had, saving around two thirds of the cost, but making the job quite complex. Errol completed the job on time, and for the quoted price. He was puntctual, a good standard of work and was prepared to overcome problems that were not of his making, but still within the quoted price. He gave us good advice regarding our kitchen, and helped us choice our our products at trade price. On completion Errol took all the rubbish away, left our kitchen clean and tidy, was good to deal with and we would certainly use him again.

Errol is in a league of his own! He did all the above work in the space of three days to the highest quality. During the work, some problems arose as the replacements were not like for like, but Errol is a problem solver and soon found a solution. When Errol does come across a problem, he involves the customer in the discussion. He has an excellent work ethic as he starts early, works long hours with very short breaks, and cleans up the work area before finishing each day. All the work was to budget. Previously Errol has fitted a wooden living room floor, a bedroom wardrobe, kitchen worktops, shower room door, and tiled a bathroom floor in our home. I can highly recommend him as the quality of his work, his communication skills, and attention to aftercare, are outstanding.

Errol Vaughan took out our old kitchen, carried out renovations and installed a brand new kitchen for us on time and within budget. He is highly professional and extremely skilful and competent. He is reliable and worked on our kitchen every day until it was completed. He is polite and considerate and would ensure that all rubbish was cleared at the end of each day. We now have an awesome kitchen, thanks to Errol. We are so impressed by his work that we would seek his services again for other future works.

Errol presented a professional competitive quote, following his preliminary visit and discussion of my personal requirement to replace a 1930's 1st floor maisonette bedroom floor , paying specific attention to reducing sound transmission and allowing access to central heating pipework for any future remedial works etc. All redundant floorboards were safely and quickly removed and securely replaced with suitable ply boards , a high quality underlay, and finally the laminate boards and trim of my choice, supplied by myself as agreed. The work carried out by Errol was of real professional quality , my wife was delighted with the end result, and I was impressed with his attention to detail and the immediate improvement in sound attenuation from the ground floor . It was a pleasure to have this work done by such an affable competent tradie, who took considerable care to clean all the space on completion.

Errol arrived promptly and immediately started work on fitting a new Fire Door at my Flat. On looking for a quote, I found Errol very knowledgeable which gave me confidence in accepting his reasonable quote. He also went to a great deal of trouble in sourcing a Sapele veneered door to match the original door it was replacing. Errol carried out an extremely good job on a very difficult replacement where slight movement in the building has lead to misalignment of the door frame. He left the job in a clean and tidy condition. I would not hesitate to recommend Errol for joinery work.

After several attempts to find someone to repair our double-glazed windows. We are delighted to have found Errol on the Which? Trusted Trader site. Errol visited our property and explained that the window seals had perished/blown, hence the cloudy look to the units, and one of the window hinges was broken. He measured up and provided a quote for replacing 8 units in different rooms around the house. Having fixed a date to carry out the works, he arrived promptly and completed the job. He was polite, worked quickly and cleaned up after he finished. Very efficient. We would thoroughly recommend Errol for any future projects.

Errol repaired a bedroom door frame which was broken and the door had come off. He did a very neat job of cutting out the broken piece of frame and putting in a new piece of wood. He rehung the door which now opens beautifully. Thanks.
