He was very professional, punctual, arrived on time. He was very efficient and clean and tidied up his work and left no mess. The work went very smoothly and no complications with the work. Changed 3 smoke alarms and 3 dimmable switches. I would recommend to anyone and would hire again if any work comes up in the future. Also very good with pets.

I first came across Ian via Which? almost 20 years ago and he is still my preferred supplier. The recent job he did for me is an example. Quick response, efficient service, friendly approach, reasonably priced. You can't ask for more than that- thank you Ian.

The service provided by Ian was efficient, speedy and professional. We had to re-fit a number of halogen lights with LED lights along with other replacement lights and smoke detectors. Ian skilfully undertook the job in the course of a couple of visits, and ensured that any debris, mess, etc. was cleaned up following completion of the job. I would have no hesitation recommending Ian as an extremely competent and personable electrician.

Ian installed internal and external lighting for us in a new garden cabin and did a fantastic job. At his initial visit he reviewed the electrics in the house and the power requirements, made recommendations and had suggestions regarding the style and positioning of the lights which we agreed with. We are so happy with the outcome, the external lights are lovely and the WIFI switching means we can turn them on and off from the house too which is really helpful when walking to and from the cabin at night! Ian even adapted the lighting, reducing the internal fittings when he saw that 3 would provide plenty of light for our needs. We were able to use the extra light in the garage, the single bulb we had barely provided any light so we always had to open the garage door but now its a well lit space too! We need to get more work done inside the house next year and will definitely be asking Ian to do the job for us! A pleasure to have in the house, tidy and reliable, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Called Ian with a socket problem he called back within two hours I explained the problem and he went through a few scenarios and it was decided that I could sort the problem myself which I did so he sorted the problem over the phone so he did not charge a call-out fee and left me a happy customer so I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs a electrician very honest and professional great service

I had a faulty lighting problem which Ian attended at the agreed time and carried out a full check. Ian eventually located a faulty wire within the walls which was shorting and was able to resolve the problem without damaging the walls. Ian was amiable, very professional and explained everything clearly. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian for any electrical issues.

Ian has carried out electrical work for me for some 5 years now. Recently he replaced my bathroom fan but during Covid he carried out a complete re-wiring of my house just before I moved in, so complying fully with all Covid regulations.
