Fort Locks was established in 1994 by Kevin Carloni. With over 20+ years’ experience – there isn’t much Kevin doesn’t know about the locksmith trade! With pride in his work and a passion to deliver high quality services – clients within both the residential and commercial sector continue to recommend Fort Locks and use Kevin for all their security services. Fort Locks is a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and uphold their high standards of expertise. This ensures continuity of a high-quality, reliable service for you or your business. It also means that for elderly or vulnerable clients, you are reassured that the right person is fixing your security problem. We provide a 24 hour emergency locksmith service to the London and Hertfordshire areas and deal with everything from replacement locks to open-ups, burglary’s and UPVC door repairs. Always on-call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year we endeavour for any emergency works a maximum response time of 20 minutes.

Kevin was fantastic, and was at my house within 20 minutes of first speaking to him. He explained what the issue was clearly, and went about fixing it, ensuring that everything was sorted before he left. He went above and beyond, all for a very reasonable price. He is also extremely friendly, and has a great level of customer service. I would absolutely recommend Fort Locks to anyone.

Lightening fast
Called Kevin to see if he could help me get in the front door. I was expecting a bit of a wait. It’s not the first time I’ve done this. Anyway. 25 minutes later, turns up and looks at the door and within seconds I was in my house with no damage to the door and the same lock intact. Can’t fault the service. I would recommend you give him a call

I had an "emergency" when my front door key broke in the lock. I was given an appointment within 1.5 hours and Mr Carloni arrived in little over one hour. A new lock and multiple keys were provided. I found it slightly difficult to use the new key - which may have been due to my own clumsiness, rather than a fault with the lock. Mr Carloni returned and promptly sorted out the problem.

I rang Kevin because carers had sometimes experienced problems opening my elderly mother’s front door. He understood my concern and attended the same day, keeping me informed all the time. I expected the barrel or the lock to need replacing but Kevin adjusted the lock and assured me it didn’t need replacing. Kevin was friendly and professional, and I will contact him again if there are any future problems.

This is the second time I have called Fort Locks this year. (Different problems). Kevin is very customer focussed. He came out on the same day as calling to realign our back door that would not lock. Kevin was very professional throughout his visit. The problem was fixed (in freezing weather) and we were relieved to not have to barricade the door. Kevin took time to make sure we were happy with the locking mechanism before leaving the site clean and tidy.

Replace broken Multipoint door mechanism to double leaf door

Kevin responded very quickly to my request for repairs to our double leaf door. He wasn’t able to repair it as the lock was broken and he was unable to obtain the replacement part immediately (attended on a Bank Holiday!) so ensured the doors were secure before leaving. Kevin returned and replaced the broken part, ensured the mechanism functioned correctly, repositioned the door and checked I could unlock and lock the door. Kevin was very professional, worked at lightning speed (obviously very experienced), had a friendly manner. Very happy with his work, now in my phone book if needed again.

I contacted Kevin by email at 10.20pm and by 9.40 the next morning he'd been round and re-aligned my French doors that would no longer lock. Great service and reasonable price. Emergency call out Sunday morning after failed break in damaged front door lock and we could not get out! Kevin came to repair a failed lock mechanism at our property at a couple of hours notice. The problem was diagnosed with accuracy over the phone, with the cost of the repair being as quoted beforehand. We found Kevin to be impressionable and most helpful, and we had a good conversation about the fault and the quality of the workmanship! Given the COVID conditions, PPE was worn to carry out the repair and social distancing was exercised at all times. Advice was given covering how to keep the lock mechanism clean and lubricated, as well as advice to keep the door and door surround in a good condition. We were asked to keep Kevin informed if we experienced any problems with the repair. We found Kevin and Fort Locks to be a great Which? trusted discovery in our local area and would have no hesitation in recommending his workmanship.
