Fort Locks was established in 1994 by Kevin Carloni. With over 20+ years’ experience – there isn’t much Kevin doesn’t know about the locksmith trade! We provide a 24 hour emergency locksmith service to the London and Hertfordshire areas and deal with everything from replacement locks to open-ups, burglary’s and UPVC door repairs. I needed an easy to use lock on my garden store door, but had no idea of the type of lock or the cost. Kevin arrived within 24 hours of my non-urgent request, quickly assessed what was needed and showed me varying types of suitable locks and prices. Within a very short space of time, the lock was fitted to the door and I was given a demonstration (or two!) on how to operate the lock. The service from start to finish was excellent, payment by card was quick and easy and I would recommend Kevin and his expertise to anyone in need of a locksmith.

Kevin was great. Our door lock was sticking and I was considering replacing it myself, but thought I should get an expert opinion. Kevin came over and pointed out that the door wasn't hung straight and that would cause the issues. He straightened the door and liubricated the lock, now it is working perfectly.

We can’t thank Kevin at Fort Locks enough! Absolute life saver. We were locked out with our baby and 4 year old son and called Fort Locks. He was really polite and was able to get to us within 10 minutes of calling. He was able to open our front door without causing any damage and really in no time at all! Absolutely amazing. I work for a firm of property managing agents in North London. The firm have used Fort Locks for a number of years and, hand on heart, have had no problem at all with the company or Kevin, the Main Man. Nothing is too much trouble for him. All our Property Managers trust him implicitly, he is totally reliable. He offers them advice when he thinks it's necessary and his advice has always been spot on. His costs are also extremely reasonable bearing in mind some of our properties are quite a way outside the M25 boundary. I, personally, had an emergency with my front door lock on a recent Saturday morning, just before I was going away. Such is the trust we hold for Fort Locks and Kevin, I called him and he came over within 20 mins and sorted out the problem. There was no fuss, no lengthy chit-chat, he just got on with the job. He even refused a cuppa ! Definitely to be recommended as a Trusted Trader.

Having moved into a rental and having to deal with a dodgy front door lock and no key to the internal garage door I called Kevin. I called Kevin at Fort Locks this time because my French doors at the back of my house wouldn't lock properly. He came out very quickly, and sorted them out straight away. Kevin has done quite a lot of work for me over the past few years, both at my Dad's house and at mine, and he's always excellent. He really knows what he's doing. He seems to be able to sort out absolutely everything to do with locks, and is a really nice person to deal with. Highly recommended!

Kevin arrived very promptly to repair the broken door mechanism on our back door which meant we were unable to lock it. He was very quick and efficient and also adjusted the door to help it open/close more easily. Kevin also advised that one of the threads on the door handle was worn and advised the best way of replacing this. He was very pleasant and tidy and I would highly recommend his services.

Some of the locks on my wooden patio doors that were fitted last autumn were not working because of the movement of the frames with the changing weather. I contacted Kevin by email and got a very speedy reply and a follow up call. He came the next day and adjusted the alignment of the locks to fix them now and allow for movement in the winter months (yet to be tested!). I tried all the locks and they were all turning smoothly and easily. Very impressed by the fast, friendly and efficient service. Thank you.

I spoke to Kevin from Fort Locks on a Sunday regarding being unable to properly lock the front door to my rental property. He came out promptly as advised the next day on the Monday afternoon and fixed the issue without causing any inconvenience to my tenant. At the time my tenant also asked him to look at the back door lock as this was also causing a minor problem. He fixed this too at no extra cost! Kevin was very friendly, hassle free and carried out the work to a very good standard. I would definitely use him again for any future problems.
