Needed locks replaced at my girlfriend's flat. Phoned up Franchi and had a locksmith over in a couple of hours. Locksmith was a helpful friendly guy who did a swift, clean and thorough job replacing two locks. Was also very happy with the price which I personally thought was fantastic value. would 100% recommend

Discovered late yesterday evening that my front door key was not fully entering the lock. Called Franchi at approximately 11:19 and informed them of the problem. The receptionist immediately made an arrangement with a locksmith working in the area. Beau arrived and inspected the lock and provided me with an on-the-spot analysis. He fitted a new lock with 3 new keys prior to explaining alternatives and cost. Beau was very respectful of my time as I was working from home. I was very pleased with the efficiency and value for money service.

Our front door had become increasingly difficult to lock and unlock. Fearing we might one day be actually unable to open it, we called in local heroes, Franchi's. Beau turned up, politeness personified. Tried to fix things onsite but ended up taking the lock away to replace some worn parts (the 'curtain', in case you're interested!), brought it back a few hours later- good as new! Now we can turn the lock with grace and ease. Beau didn't even want a cup of tea! Highly recommended.

I had to call Franchi as I had a broken front door lock. Beau was here in minutes, polite, charming and professional. He tried to fix the lock but it was beyond repair. Beau did a beautiful job reinstalling a new lock, and kept me informed about costs and his process. Genuinely lovely guy, thanks Beau you're a star.

They arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly. The man who did the job : Beau Watkins was polite and efficient.

Drunay and Andy were excellent. The whole experience of using the locksmith service was great - the firm were very responsive and the work was done efficiently and to a very high standard. It was a relatively complex job with a lock broken on bi-folding doors so very impressed with the result.

Having stupidly locked myself out I rang Franchi’s. Ben kindly came around immediately and managed to get me back into the flat within 15 minutes. He was super friendly and didn’t damage the lock or door at all! Highly recommend

Called Franchi at 11am ish and Beau was here at 12.30, I’d been locked out and needed to get back in urgently, he has 12 years experience and got the tricky job done in not much time at all given the security of our front door, he had a professional and upbeat manner

Matt was absolutely brilliant when helping us choose a new front door. He was friendly and professional, explained things in simple terms and helpfully answered all our questions (we had a lot). He was also available throughout the entire process and even swung by on the day of the fitting to check all was going ok. He came back after the door was fitted to ensure we were happy and to follow up on things. Matt went above and beyond from start to finish and I would highly recommend him and the team, will definitely be using them again.

Andy came to have a look at the back door which is a plastic one and wouldn’t lock properly which was a security problem for us. He was brilliant! He was able to work out what was wrong and fix it in no time at all. His attitude was positive and professional. He took the time to explain what the problem was and how he’d fixed it. He was very helpful, professional and told us what to do if it happened again. Excellent service!

We moved house recently and needed to upgrade several locks and bolts on arrival. Andy Douglas from Franchi came to do the work and was punctual, incredibly helpful and did the work needed swiftly and with great skill. He went above and beyond by helping me out with other locks with keys that were stiff and couldn't turn properly. I would recommend Andy highly to anyone needing an experienced locksmith.

Andy Douglas from Franchi came today to fit a new deadlock on our front door. He arrived punctually, was pleasant and knowledgeable, fitted a very good quality lock and left no mess at all. He intelligently anticipated we would need extra keys so had them cut in advance and brought them with him. Whilst here he helpfully advised on other security issues in the building. Have used this company for years and this is just the latest good experience we've had with them.

After trying numerous companies to come to remove a broken lock in our security gate and being told ‘we don’t do this’ we we’re getting very dishearten.My Husband thought we would try Franchises .He popped into our local branch and one of the guys booked an appointment for someone who works with them for the following afternoon.As promised he turned up and saved the day.He removed the old lock and replaced it with a new one in no time at all.Big thank you to ANDY DOUGLAS for your excellent quick and helpful service .His workmanship was very professional and clean.Very highly recommend.

This was a very good service. Quick and efficient. I had phoned the day before as I had lost my eyes. Sent photos of existing locks as requested and got an immediate response back with quote and proposed appointment . The fitter was on time. Completed the job in under an hour, which included coping with the warped door. Very satisfied.

Incredibly rude customer services. The person I spoke to sounded like he just got out of bed. I needed to replace some lost keys and the person that I spoke to asked for a reference number on the keys. The keys that are lost?! He then stated well what do you want me to do about it? Who speaks like that. Absolute joke of a company!

I called Franchi because a key had broken in the lock of one of my outside doors. The locksmith Paul turned up on the dot. He managed to fix the lock without the need for a new one at this stage. Paul was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A good ambassador for the company. We are doing some renovations and he gave good advice and demonstrated potential locks. We will be going back to this company when we need to upgrade our security.

Franchi did not do a good job having previously encouraged me to take on a lock fitting which had not worked. I used their Locksmith to change a lock which had failed. A new latch was fitted, however, the customer service was not good. The door was not inspected and one of the hinges was left splintered around the door frame. There was a long wait for the engineer when I urgently had to get a train from Marylebone. The lock wasn't fit because parts were left. The engineer wasn't able to fit the new escutcheon and he left site with no assurance as to the security of the door. I am not very happy with Franchi's attitude. The cost of products is high and the locksmith service is not fantastic. There are other locksmiths to use although I am local to Franchi thus it is very difficult to avoid their opening hours and foot traffic. I wasn't particularly impressed by their customer service. I've tried resolving the issue with the door since and Franchi have offered to have a look at the door. This hasn't been possible yet and I am still looking at the issue with the existing locks. I'm not too happy about the purchase or the customer service.

I selected a replacement front door lock on the advice I was given in the shop. The lock was fitted today with the minimum of disturbance by a very experienced craftsman. . Over 40+ years I have always had first class advice and service from Franchis.

We have used Franchi since 2010 and recommend them for friends. They installed grilles, locks and door bolts to three properties belonging to our extended family. Prompt and polite and good after care - strongly recommend.

It is so refreshing to come across an established company who are committed to client service. Franchi's Locksmiths fit this bill - and their bill will be a lot less than most of their call centre rivals!. There have been a range of locks I've had to replace for a variety of reasons over the last few months, and I've gone to Franchi's every time. Their prices are very fair, they are cheerful and helpful even with their early morning opening hours, and they explain things to you - without ever patronising the amateur customer. This has meant I've been able to replace a number of Yales and Chubb mortices, but this time it was a BIG problem. The steel security gate was bolted and the key lost. Helpful as ever, their roaming lock-genius (Jason) was booked for a few hours hence. Unlike rivals on the phone - quoting big prices and saying it might be impossible to fix - Jason arrived, friendly, positive and highly skilful. In no time he had it sorted and replaced, and new keys in our hands. A beautifully neat job and a remarkably reasonable cost. It was a pleasure to have someone so "can-do" and expert dealing with the challenge. Franchi's are local guys who look after you - still head and shoulders above the rest!

Yale lock not working properly. Door wouldn’t stay closed. Locksmith arrived on time and explained to me what the problem was and how it would be solved. Locksmith worked quickly and efficiently and was extremely courteous and friendly. Kept me informed throughout of the work being undertaken. I was delighted by the outcome. Would thoroughly recommend.
