Nelson, Connor and the team renewed the felt and rotting boards at the edge of our roof in one day. The team spotted the issue during a previous roof repair. Photos and videos were provided throughout the job to show the issues and how they were remedied. FRBS are a friendly team and their work is of a high standard and is very reasonably priced. Our go to for roof repairs. Only minor issue with this repair was the tidy up of debris was not as good as before. However they offered to come back and tidy up.

From the very first point of telephone contact with Stacey at Head Office, to the initial Site Inspection & Quotation stage with General Manager, Anthony, followed by Site commencement through to completion with their brilliant Roofing Contractor, Davie, and to the final removal of all debris from Site by Mario, the entire Team at FRBS were professional, efficient, courteous and pleasant throughout, providing us with a "1st Class Service" from start to finish, taking care of the entire process of re-roofing my elderly Uncle's flat-roofed extension in Glasgow's South side, making everything appear as seamless and as easy as possible throughout their 4-day duration of Siteworks. A really great company to deal with and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to future Clientele. NB: their 10-year Guarantee was the icing on the cake and speaks volumes for not only the quality of their workmanship, but also their integrity. Truly "5-Star Service throughout !!!"

Nelson and team did a good job of sorting issues with roof and guttering etc. They attended when arranged, carried out work efficiently and I was not asked to make payment until I was totally satisfied the job had been completed as agreed. All in all a good experience and I feel comfortable recommending this company to anyone looking to have important roof repairs undertaken.

Roof was leaking. Commissioned FRBS to fix roof and moisture readings in the structure. Roughcasting. Chimney renovation on my side. Charged £18k CASH. Two withdrawals from my bank evidence can be provided. In my opinion and four other contractors including Environmental Health, Trading Standards. Work carried out on my property bordering on professional incompetence. Photographic evidence can be provided if requested. In my opinion do not use this company. No receipt of work has been issued and no attempt to rectify all faults in my home were acted upon. My front living room windows won't open due to packed roughcasting. Six months later this company seems happy to attend court.

We had our slate roof "replaced" by FRBS back in 2020. Since then we have had issue after issue - leaks, loose slates rattling, slates coming off altogether despite no adverse weather - and despite numerous visits and promises, our roof is still not completed to expected standard. We contacted them - again - almost two weeks ago by email and have heard nothing - again. So following legal advice, will get other roofers to quote to do the remedial work before winter and wind (to prevent loose slates crashing to the ground - we have had a few near misses!) - and hope that FRBS will at the very least reimburse us these costs. Really really disappointing and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Trying to get a roofer in February after a storm proved to be a monumental task, however, FRBS were the exception. I was contacted quickly after my enquiry and made an appointment for someone to come out. James arrived when he said he would and gave me advice on my problem rather than a hard sell. He identified the cause of my issue and we discussed solutions. Work went ahead as planned and on the date agreed. Nelson was assigned to site manager and he kept me updated and informed throughout. We had some enforced changes to plan, not least because there was snow, pouring rain and high winds but the team worked through some pretty awful weather to make sure my home was always water tight. Mid way through it became apparent that what I really needed was a new roof - squirrels, birds and (judging by the damage) hippos had made their home under my tiles! This massive change was dealt with impressively and in just over 24 hours I had a new roof! From James, Anthony and Nelson overseeing work, Mario and his scaf team to Connor, Gary, Davie & Stevie the roofing and construction lads I was genuinely impressed with their commitment and efforts in making sure the best possible job was done. FRBS were not the only company I contacted but they were the only company who arrived when they said, did what they said, for the price they said, and that can not be understated.

We have a 1970s house with a lot of roof, which was redone about 2 decades ago. We have known from comments made and repairs needed that all was not good, but various tradesmen over the years have just replaced small parts. We asked FRBS to look at part of the roof where tiles were broken. They are a family business and every time one of them went up on the roof they took a video with a voiceover explaining what they were seeing and what the problem was, which they shared with us. That, and the fact that they were prepared to look at the bigger picture, has been a game changer for us. Though the job started as a few tiles and some pointing they were able to show us the need for a more comprehensive overhaul, which was not a surprise. As they have a precept that once they start a job they will finish it, they took it on wholeheartedly and gave us a new roof with beams and joists within a week. Incredible organisation and team work and tidied up every night and at the end. So we had an intensive experience of highly professional people who were friendly and accessible, have done a great job and whom we will use again and would highly recommend.

James and his team carried out work on roof the day following my call. The gutters and valleys were cleaned out and repaired by Conner and his young assistant. Both were very pleasant and all mess was cleaned after job completed.
