We found both teams worked well together and were very careful handling our furniture and other items. We have now found the clock pendulum that we thought was lost. I was lucky to have Lomers move me across the country from Sussex to Devon. They came and loaded up a couple of days before the move to accommodate for the distance. The were calm, friendly and professional. They were great at the Devon end too, everything was unloaded the same day in a friendly and efficient way. They went above and beyond, first with the late notice booking and second with how great they were in the lead up to moving and during the move. Everyone says moving is stressful, the part that wasn't stressful was putting the move in their hands. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of moving.

We used Lomers for moving home from Surrey to Cambridgeshire. The work was carried out over three days. My initial phone call enquiry was handled extremely professionally. The office couldn't have been more helpful. This was followed by a visit from Anna to assess what would be involved in moving us. Once again this carried out calmly and efficiently with things being clearly explained and all questions answered. Over the three days we had an excellent team of careful staff who worked with good humour. Nothing was too much trouble. Their teamwork is to be applauded.

Darren, Rob and Luke, plus a few others, did a brilliant job in packing up the contents of my house, not a thing was left. Or so we thought. Had a email on 18 April saying one of the kitchen cupboards had been missed and contained all the contents still. Oops!! It was a corner cupboard and I was sent a picture to show the contents and asked if I wanted it by estate agent. As it was my dinner plates and all baking ingredients I could not afford to ignore. My son-in-law went to Money Avenue and collected all the items the following week. Apart from this hiccup I can recommend Lomers as Movers and would certainly use them again should I decide to move. The moving into my now current home went as smoothly as possible. The guys certainly moved all my boxes and items of furniture into my new home with extreme care. The team at Lomers were great, very professional and efficient. They packed up our house contents and kept it in storage for 10 months in West Sussex. They brought it all down to our new home in Devon and weren't at all phased by the very restricted access, they took it in their stride. Most importantly, everything was in good condition even after 10 months of storage - I have heard stories about mould and damp from other companies. Can't rate them highly enough.

Two men arrived on the Thursday and started packing consulting as to which room we would like them to start. They worked hard and efficient but were friendly putting us at ease. They returned on the Friday and continued packing of furniture talking to us jovially relaxing us. Nothing was too much trouble. They somehow stopped us thinking of the stress we felt about down sizing telling us of all the positives we would experience. We met them at our new home and again they unloaded putting us at our ease. I would definitely recommend Lomers as their men are so efficent and considerate as are the office staff and helped us over what could have been a stressful time.

We decided to use Lomers for our recent move because they were a local company. Have no regrets. They came in to do all the packing one day and it was done in no time. We have done a few moves in the last 10 years and I have never seen anyone packing up a house so quickly. The guys were brilliant. Polite, considerate and easy to get on with.
