Gareth and his team installed a new Worcester Greenstar boiler for us yesterday and their service could not have been better. Efficient, professional, speedy and well organised, on schedule and to a reasonable budget. Gareth went over and above in terms of what was needed including reorganising and refitting some old pipework and wiring which was muddled and untidy. Not only that he gave me helpful advice on a couple of other issues not relating to the boiler. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

It is not very often that I write reviews about tradespeople, but this time, I had no choice. It would be hard not to recognise the exceptional service I was given by the GB Plumbing & Heating team. It was time for a replacement of my 14-year-old boiler, and I found details of Gareth on WHICH. It took only a few days before Gareth attended my property and thoroughly analysed the heating system situation. Only a couple of hours later, I received a quote for replacing my boiler—no extra or hidden costs. The quote was fair, final and transparent. Less than a week later, the team arrived to complete the job. Gareth is a dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable heating and plumbing expert. With his keen and hardworking employee Callum, they have completed a fantastic job, removing the old boiler, installing the new one, and balancing my heating system in only 1.5 days. There was not a day without hot water!!! Not to mention that it almost felt like they were not there, immaculate as well. They are exceptional professionals, and I can only say that they exceeded my expectations with their level of expertise. I had a combi boiler fitted to replace a faulty one, not a complicated job but I found Gareth and his colleague to be neat, professional and polite throughout the install. I really think they did a good job of tidying up some of the mess from a previous install. Speaking of mess, there was nothing left behind at all, not a speck of dust. They used carpet protector on the stairs and hovered up behind themselves before they left .I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

We highly recommend Gareth Butcher and his team after having had a Worcester Bosch boiler installed recently. He came and did a very thorough and practical site visit resulting in a competitive quote that covered all the work needing to be done. The installation was carried out efficiently and promptly and the system has been working very well since. The whole experience was extremely positive, and Gareth’s professionalism was evident throughout. We are delighted his firm will be servicing the boiler annually.

We had an old corroded conventional boiler and pipes replaced with a Combi system, which was installed in the most professional manner by Gareth and his colleagues. From the provision of a quotation to answering questions whilst we decided who to employ, Gareth was the epitome of patience and professionalism. The job was completed very efficiently and his work was excellent and very methodical. From the moment they arrived, everything went smoothly. The floor and stairs were covered with protective covering and they left the place very clean and tidy when they finished. Gareth and his assistant went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. We now have a lovely Combi which is life changing :) ,works perfectly and is guaranteed for 10 years. Reasonable prices and we highly recommend Gareth.

I have now used the services of the team at GB Plumbing & Heating on a number of occasions and have found them to be exactly what I needed in all cases. Having had plenty of issues in the past with tradespeople it has been great to find this team who are honest, reliable and deliver quality work. It's good to know that they won't abuse the trust I have placed in them even when I am stuck overseas. Its also nice that they are good with tenants to, not just the person paying the bills. Gareth removed all trace of my old conventional boiler installation, including re-routing pipes. The new installation was very neat and tidy. Price was competitive and the job carries a 10-year warranty. Very happy that I chose him after looking at other local companies with similar credentials and British Gas who I had been with for more than 30 years! Gareth worked around other work that I had planned at the same time to make the whole project run smoothly.

Gareth and his team are very professional, punctual, experienced and helpful. He goes above and beyond to advise even after the job is complete.

Our shower was a dribble and our old boiler had broken 😞. Gareth turned up to inspect the job and to give an accurate estimate and there and then replaced a valve that doubled the strength of the water pressure in the whole house. He returned the next day to replace the boiler to a Worcester Bosch boiler which works brilliantly and now all the radiators in the house work like never before and we can enjoy gushing hot water showers.
