I was very impressed from the first quotation visit as the job was properly discussed, the days that it could be done and how long it would take, and access (as all had to come through the house). The works were done just as on the quote and very efficiently even though the weather was very bad; the workmen were very conscientious about leaving my home tidy at the end; Jack came to check the work as well. The scaffolding was taken down immediately after the works were completed. I was very pleased and all fitted around working from home days. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Work was carried out promptly following my initial approach and completed within 3 days as planned and within the sum quoted. I am completely satisfied with the outcome. All the staff were helpful and informative, explaining exactly what was entailed. A very pleasant company indeed.

Our first experience of GS Roofing was in the late 1980s when they replaced a roof for us on the house we lived in then. When we sold the house the buyer's surveyor commented on the quality of the new roof. They have continued to do a variety of roofing and guttering work for us ever since, most recently, this week, sorting out a blocked gutter. They are reliable, thoughtful and very good at their job.

Buyer's survey revealed two broken slates on my roof. Called two local firms that were recommended. G.S. Roofing, visited and quoted within a couple of days, did the job 4 days later. 20% cheaper than the other company. When I called their office to ask questions, the roofer I spoke to was very polite. The roofers that did the repair were tidy and polite. I asked for photos before & after the repair (for the buyers solicitor) and had them 1hr after the repair. Very happy with the service end to end, will use again and recommend them.

I had used G S Roofing's services several times over a number of years, while living in a detached house, with positive results. So, in late 2023, having moved to a building comprising four flats, the flat roof of which was coming to the end of its serviceable life, our residents' association took my recommendation to award the (not insubstantial) contract to GSR. The work took 6-weeks and was completed within the predicted time, and exactly as agreed. Any additional works which the foreman, Jack, considered necessary were immediately brought to our attention, estimated for, and adopted. Throughout the period they were with us, Jack and his team, guided by Mark, a highly experienced roofing expert, constantly kept us in the picture, were on time every day and were a joy to have around. They kept the entire working site, including our car park, clean and tidy throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending this well-managed, family-owned company, which has almost fifty-years expertise behind it. Many thanks for a great job.

Having narrowly survived a rogue trader, we approached GS Roofing for a quote and we're reassured owing to their far more professional approach. We had our roof completely replaced along with some extra work, and are very pleased with the results. I found GS Roofing through the National Federation of Roofing Contractors. After contacting several companies who were not interested in fixing a leaking glass roof on a house extension I was delighted to speak to Stephanie Strank who sent a surveyor to assess the job within three days of my call. An estimate followed two days later and a date (4 September) was confirmed to carry out the work. The two roofers who turned up on the due date were efficient and pleasant and the job was completed the same day. The work was done to the agreed schedule and budget. I cannot speak too highly of GS Roofing. They will be my first port of call if I ever have another roofing problem.

GS Roofing are a well-known, long-established family-run business in the Wimbledon area where I've lived for 30+ years. Their vans and lorries are a familiar sight on local roads. I had damp coming into a top-floor bedroom around the chimney breast. As I have a 3-storey Victorian townhouse, I wanted someone I could trust to do a proper and thorough job the first time around to avoid the inconvenience and risk of expensive scaffolding going up again later to fix remedial issues. GS Roofing were a natural choice to replace the old flat roof, as well as installing bigger front guttering, replacing decorative bargeboards and other smaller jobs. They did a superb, really neat job to a high standard that I am very happy with. They turned up when they said they would, were polite, respectful and tidy and kept me updated on progress and timelines. It was a pleasure to have them work on the house.
