Garage Door Wizards

I contacted the Garage Door Wizards on Tuesday morning. They got back to me later in the morning and came out to do a quote the same day. Garage door was then fixed by Thursday! I had thought my garage door would need a complete replacement, however Richard reassured us it was fixable and quoted us. I will reccomend this company to everybody as I am so impressed! The original door on our estate house actually collapsed. Fortunately no damage to persons and vehicles! Terry and Richard promptly put it back in place despite pouring rain to safeguard our contents and arranged quotations for a replacement door. At no time were we under pressure to purchase a new one however we are now enjoying the benefits of an automated roller door and wish we had one sooner! Service was superb throughout. We raised various queries which were answered efficiently and when we were unsure of our colour choice Terry immediately provided a sample case to assist. We will certainly recommend. Thank you

The manual winder and remote controls on my 12 year old garage door had failed. A call to GDW, and Richard came out, fixed the winder and then assessed what was needed to get the remote controls working. In this case a new control unit was needed. Parts duly ordered and fitted within the week. Very happy with the standard of work and competitive price and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Garage Door Wizards if you have a problem with your garage door.

I had a roll-up garage door badly fitted a few years ago which has been endless trouble. The motor provided was too small and failed. The hangers were not fitted symmetrically causing stress at one end of the roller and thus progressively failed. Garage Door Wizards corrected those things. All the previous faults damaged the door curtain and things began to fail again. I asked Garage Door Wizards to come in and quote for a whole new door as, amongst other inconveniences, I found myself drilling out the pop rivets of the cover so that I could get the door safely shut at at 10 o'clock at night and I was thoroughly fed up with the whole thing. Door Wizards could have sold me a whole new one but emphasised that I did not need a new door, just a new curtain. The real point of all this is that they could have very easily sold me a whole new door and thus made more money but they chose the honest route and I am impressed. They are definitely on my 'To be trusted' list.

Everything went like clockwork and as promised. Terry arrived on time for the viewing and quoting. Ample warning and flexibility in agreeing the installation date. Cheerful and efficient fitting of the doors - despite the rain. Top class service overall.

Really efficient service from Garage Door Wizards. The whole experience from my first enquiry, through to the installation of a new Motörhead for my existing garage door was smooth and problem free. I cannot speak highly enough of them, Terry came out to check and advise on my requirements, and promptly sent my quotation, this was followed by a speedy installation after placing my order. I recently had a new roller door supplied and installed by Garage door wizards I had emailed and spoken to Terry a couple of times and he was very helpful with his advice and flexible on dates and the communications was very good. On the day of installation, Terry and Richard arrived and installed the new door on time, with no issue and were both really polite and helpful. Having used Garage Wizards twice I highly recommend them. The first time a fault was quickly identified and a new spring ordered and replaced. The second time the electric motor was replaced, which required alterations to the boom length. All the work was done quickly and tidily.

I was quoted £1200 by another company who stated the motor was faulty. Richard investigated and there was nothing wrong with the motor and in the end was a faulty corroded electrical connection. Contact garage door wizards as we had no key to open the main garage door after purchasing a new house, they were out the following day changing the lock on the door.

I expected to have to have a new door. I phoned late on Tuesday afternoon, they arrived when they said and all was fixed and working better than it ever has by midday Thursday! Not only that but great value and a fraction of the cost of a new door.

I needed a reliable technician to fix the garage door at my parents house - they are 94. I live a long way away from March so had to rely on searching the internet. I rang to the landline number last Wednesday afternoon and spoke to a lovely lady called Joanne. She told me someone would call me that afternoon. Terry texted me within 15 minutes and offered an appointment the afternoon of the next day. Although I was messaging Terry his colleague Richard arrived to do the job. He was kind, polite and equally as importantly very efficient. He assessed the door and decided it just needed new rollers and an adjustment to the spring. From the time he arrived to the time it was fixed was not even an hour. Brilliant customer service... No hard sell to replace the door despite it being pretty old! We are extremely pleased with the repair work carried out by Richard. After a first visit on the 7th December 2018 , when the garage door misfunctioned slightly, Richard immediately responded the following day to rectify the slight problem.

I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company for all your garage needs. I had a real problem accessing my garage when the electric doors (fitted by a different company a few years ago) failed. They responded very promptly (same day) and through their persistence and ingenuity managed to sort my problem out as well as offering good advice on how to avoid a re-occurrence of the problem. Great service, great value. Will definitely use them again.

Following an unexpected failure of door mechanism which left the garage contents vunerable to theft and ultimately access into house a security problem, GDW swiftly and efficiently made a quick temporary fix which solved both of these issues until a replacement spring was supplied and fixed in the timescale and price quoted which they promised. A top class job.

Our garage door had twisted and got stuck open and the cables tangled. Worried we would have to leave it open overnight we contacted wizard garage doors who could not have been more friendly & helpful. Job done within 1 1/2 hours from contacting them! Excellent service. Thank you.

Garage door got stuck - cables had come off rollers. Phoned at 15.00 and spoke to a lady who said she would get somebody to call that day. Richard phoned at 16.15 and told me a cost and that he could be there within 30 minutes. On arrival was very pleasant, took time to replace the cables, and fully serviced the door mechanism and gave 1 year guarantee for work carried out. Overall great service which gave me peace of mind re being able to secure garage overnight. Thank you.
