I phoned Garage Door Wizards Monday morning, the helpfull receptionist said the engineer would call me back, which he did in the afternoon. Visit arranged for the following afternoon. He arrived on time, gave us a reasonable estimate and did the job there and then, new cables and serviced all the mechanism. Very pleased, would use again.

After receiving several quotes, Garage Door Wizards gave me the most comprehensive solution. They took the measurements, asking questions and offering different options until I was happy. They came and took the old doors away and spent time installing until they worked perfectly. Our particular issue was flooding. Now our doors have a perfect seal - and a dry garage at last!

Our experience mirrored that of the people below. Terry clearly knows his stuff and offered a competitive quote. At no point did we feel he was trying to lead us towards a more expensive solution. On the day, he and Richard arrived on time and completed the job in exactly the two and a half hours they said it would take - clearing up properly at the end. We'd recommend them unhesitatingly.

I was quoted £640 by Garage Doors Fixed for replacing 3 broken springs and then I found Garage Door Wizards. Our wizard (Richard) came to inspect within an hour, and then quoted £340 - so I was highly pleased. Good job done in a few days, and will certainly use them if the situation occurs again. No attempt made to take advantage of my old age! Thank you Richard.

Terry gave me excellent advice on the choices of garage door available - I chose a Hormann sectional garage door, which is really solid and well made. On the day, Terry and Richard arrived on time and worked without a break until the job was done. Turned out my garage is not perfectly square but they obviously have the skill and experience to resolve these kinds of problems. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their workmanship. I am delighted with the result - it has transformed the garage. Our up and over Garage door has been faulty for several years now propped up with a stick! Having had several unhelpful and expensive quotes I call GDW last week. Richard was out the same week to quote, we ok'd this and as promised he phoned on Monday to say the parts were in and could he come and fix Monday afternoon - we now have a fully working garage door. Fast and efficient service and a sensible quote for what needed doing. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get the doors fixed or replaced

Just a few days earlier, I noticed my auto roller door had broken, maybe partly my fault. I nearly fixed it from inside but ended up trapping myself in there, no phone. Anyway, I managed to escape and sure enough the Wizard came to the rescue next day, Monday. No new door pushed, just a fix. Great job done well and quickly. Thank!

On 12 February 2021, I phoned for assistance to repair broken counter balance spring cables in my original 1970's garage door. Within an hour I had a call from Richard with a quote and date and time of the work schedule. On Saturday 13 February 2021at the time agreed Richard inspected the garage door and then carried out the repair of refitting the spring balance with new wire cables followed by a service and test. This work was undertaken to a high standard at a very reasonable cost. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this company for any related works.

Sent an enquiry via Garage Door Wizards website. Speedy and helpful reply received. Had them replace the springs in 2 up and over garage doors. GDW arrived exactly on time (what a refreshing contrast to most people) and carried out the repairs rapidly and were friendly and professional. from start to finish the service and quality has been brilliant.... really really pleased with the finished product. Im not one to write reviews normally, but when you get a local firm that is polite, competitive, punctual and professional - it should be endorsed and supported. I highly recommend them! I have only given 4 stars for value - as I dont think they are particularly cheap. Although they certainly seemed very competitive and you do get what you pay for ;o)
