We contacted Garage Doors as we wanted to upgrade both our front and garage door as part of the refurbishment works on our town house with regards to appearance and insulation. After discussing the options with Garage Doors, a survey was completed by one of the companies fitters who talked us through all of the options following which we placed an order. The doors were supplied and fitted as arranged in one day with no issues. We were particulary impressed in the way everything was kept clean and tidy during the work with all waste materials being cleared and taken away. The quality and finish of both the garage and front doors are outstanding. We would thoroughly recommend Garage Doors to anyone wanting a quality service.

The whole process has been seamless. After my 4 quotes, I decided to go with Garage Doors as they are a local company and I found Keith to be genuine and knowledgeable, although they were not the cheapest. The timescales provided were exactly how the works proceeded. After the initial deposit was paid, we received an installation date after 2 weeks. The fitters turned up on time, and within 3 hours I had a new fully functioning garage door. There was no damage to the surrounding area that I could see, even though we were expecting a significant amount. The guys gave me a run through with the remotes, the manual pully, and the fixed remote on the wall. Couldn't ask for more. Worth every penny!

Absolutely delighted with our new garage door. From first call, having door fitted to paying invoice after work completed very pleased. Staff are polite, efficient and very helpful. They were able to offer visit to give quotation without having to wait weeks. Was very impressed during first call they had got up satellite map and had indicated where my house and garage are. Chap that came to give quote was very helpful and we received the quote quickly. Excellent price and they were able to come and fit door within 10 days. Really pleased as didn't want to wait weeks. The chap that came to fit door did great job and was polite, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company. Not only is the door top quality and lives up to all our expectations, but the team who fitted it were super efficient. We barely even noticed they were there and they were done very quickly leaving a quality install behind. Called them over Xmas to look at my roller garage door, they responded on 4 Jan (no one else did) and came out on 11 Jan to effect a simple repair. They warned me that the motor is not going to last and this eventually packed up 11 Feb. They came back on 15 Feb and replaced the motor. Very efficient and quick with their service.

I contacted Garage Doors London as our garage door had completely given up. We were desperate to get it replaced quickly and Keith and his team were so helpful from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were back up and running asap and we are very happy with our new garage door.

The service started with me calling and Nigel explaining what they can do. Nigel then came on the agreed date and was really informative and knowledgeable. I could feel that I was in good hands and he gave me some great ideas. Rhys then came to fit my garage doors and he was brilliant too. He was really polite and explained exactly what he would do and how . I am a wheelchair user and he went beyond his job to help clear a pathway to the garage. Once he had fitted it he spent time with showing me how to open and then got the settings perfect for me. He was really patient and just could not do enough to help. Excellent experience from start to finish. The process of someone coming out to measure up and then place the order was straight-forward. We then only had to wait a few weeks for the doors to be available for fitting. On the day of fitting everything went very well, the guys on site were friendly, quick and tidy. They arrived first thing, installed 4 garage doors and were gone by mid afternoon. Overall a very positive experience and the new doors look great!

Garage Doors London have been great to deal with, from visiting their showroom on Harpenden, to the survey on my premises and finally today, carrying out the installation. Delivery time was a week faster than quoted, the installation was carried out on the day and time booked. All rubbish was removed including the old door. The team were excellent to deal with. The Hormann door is great bit of kit. Really I can't fault the product or service. Thanks.

Happy with my experience with Garage Doors Ltd. The price was fair, the survey thorough (their advice meant I chose a different design that took up less space, also cheaper), and the installation quick and professional. Keith was very responsive by email. The door was shipped from the factory in Germany, so factor in 6 weeks for that.

Having just had a rather disastrous en-suite renovation complete the week before I was not in the mood for another home repair. However, the installation team showed up and within minutes it was clear they knew what they were doing. They had the job completed in a couple of hours and even tidied up and re-hung my bike rack - way above and beyond. I would go as far as to say this was the best, and easiest, home repair we've had done. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The visit to measure up and provide a quote was smooth and efficient, and following that w visited their showroom in Harpenden to reassure ourselves that the finished product was of the right quality. Keith gave us a reassuring assessment of the door, and on that basis we decided to go ahead. The fitting was earlier than expected, and the work was finished to a very high standard. I was especially impressed that the fitters told me that the job needed a small but important finishing touch, which was completed a few days later. The initial meeting with the sales person was non pressured and he did a very thorough job of measuring the project which was to replace two very old up and over doors to my double garage. The quote was fair and the timeline good. Craig arrived on installation day after calling to tell me when he would arrive. He removed the two old doors and fitted the new ones in about two and a half hours. I watched him work and we chatted. Now usually you can knit-pic about odd things that are not quite as expected but not on this job. Craig did a perfect install in fact when I drove into my drive later that day I wondered if it was my house. His attention to detail and finishing was just perfect even to vacuuming the garage floor around the installation.. I can very highly recommend this company I doubt you will find any better.

As part of my research for a replacement Garage door I consulted the Which? Trusted Trader website and found Garage Doors ( London ) Ltd. From start to finish my experience with them was positive and friendly. I am delighted with both the appearance and fitting of the new door and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Needed to replace my garage doors and after getting a wide array of prices from builders and carpenters I tried looking at companies that specialised in garage doors. Really glad I did, as I couldn't be happier with the new doors. They are much more secure than my previous timber doors and won't need any work on my part in the years to come. Unlike other vendors in this area, Garage Doors Ltd send someone round to do a free survey and take all the measurements required so you don't have to worry about this yourself. Although I think I am reasonable at DIY I was concerned about missing something important if I were measuring this myself but with these guys, I didn't have to. If you're having a frame built to order it better be right when it comes and thanks to their survey, it was! Spoke to George before the survey, he gave practical advice on what to consider with the purchase and this was reinforced by the chap who came to do the survey. He showed us samples of the material so my wife and I could make an informed decision about colour and design rather than only looking at pictures online. When the fitters arrived they were in and out in a few short hours. Both very pleasant and professional leaving no trace of the previous doors or any mess once the job was done. Price-wise they were very competitive too which was another plus. I can't recommend this company enough - if you are in the market for garage doors trust the people that do it for a living and give these guys a go.

Garage door ordered after sound advice of what options were available to make an informed choice. Deposit paid and date set for installation. Day arrived and all went exceedingly well and as represented. Extremely pleased with fit, finish and operation. Couldn't be better.

Our requirements for a replacement garage door was discussed with George who was very helpful and polite. The time schedule for delivery and fitting was also discussed and approved. The door fitter was very professional in manner and carried out the work to our complete satisfaction within a couple of hours. A good explanation of the procedure for locking and unlocking the garage was provided. The door appears to be of high quality and of very good value for the price charged.
