My experience with Gavin and Wright Windows was fantastic. Initially from the first call for a quote which I was very happy with. Continued communication with updates for the installation date and then installation. The installation was great with the trade staff taking great care when in your home with dust sheets and cleaning up after them. The new widows look fantastic and great quality. I would highly recommend as the service from start to finish was excellent.

Pricing wise they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive from 4 different quotes. But as new windows and doors is such a large purchase and as we had nothing to go on apart from price, we decided to go with Gavin & Wright on the strength of their reviews. A decision that turned out to be a very good one. Service from the outset was excellent. We were given a time and date for the initial measuring and Joe provided some excellent advice and guidance. The installation was carried out as scheduled and the fitters, Eddie and Willie were brilliant. Very tidy, great finished product, with no damage to the surrounding plasterwork, got the job done without any hassle or fuss, and were just two nice guys. We are looking to get more work done in the future and would have no hesitation to use them again or recommend their services to others.

I went to Gavin & Wright for my new windows due to great reviews from friends who have already used them I definitely made the right choice as the windows installed are everything I hoped they would be. Joe has been very helpful and professional from the initial enquiry to the final installation. Thanks also to the fitters Eddie and Willie who turned up at the expected time and fitted the new windows to a very high standard. I would recommend Gavin & Wright and have no hesitation in using them again.

I chose Gavin and Wright to price for replacement windows due to the positive reviews. The good reviews are warranted. Joe Wright has a nice, down-to-earth manner and you quickly realise he knows his stuff. He listened to what we required then he offered his ideas and explained why. We changed to his suggestions as they were more practical (window openings) and an improvement on how they would look (false sashes). There was also no hard sell. We were not replacing all our windows and we were not pressured to do so. Timescales quoted to fit were kept to. The price quoted was competitive and was what we paid - no unexpected charges. The fitters were polite and respectable. Introduced themselves on arrival and confirmed the work they were there to do. The place was covered with dust sheets and the work went ahead. Our job was to replace the windows in 2 rooms (6 windows). The job was completed in one working day. There was no mess or visible signs that the windows had been replaced, no damage to walls or existing papering. The site was totally cleared on completion and, other than lovely new windows, you’d never know the fitters had been there. Quality windows and a quality team that priced and installed them.

We were very satisfied with the speed and efficiency with which the windows were installed. The workmen removed the old windows and cleared up any mess which occurred during installation. We now have a lot more light in our lounge and very happy with this result.

My kitchen window is at the kitchen sink. It had 2 small hooper windows at the top. The only way to open it was to climb onto the worktop and then kneel on the draining board to reach it. In practice I opened the kitchen door instead. I contacted Gavin and Wright to get a new window fitted which I could open as I stand at the sink. I was concerned about the tiles around the sink, as the old window was removed, but Joe Wright assured me that it could be done and finished off without needing new tiles. The workmen arrived on time. They were very pleasant, fitted the new window and finished it beautifully and my tiles were not damaged. I'd definitely recommend Gavin and Wright to others.

We had the full set of 12 windows in our house replaced as they were over 20 years old. Joe visited to provide a quote and offer guidance on the best designs for our home, particularly to maximise the view we have from the front. The fee quoted was very competitive (we received four quotes) and they managed to reduce this a little. The work was completed within the timeframe stated, to a great quality. The workers were pleasant and professional at all times. We are delighted with the end result and notice the difference immediately.

Had to get two windows installed quickly as new bathroom going in. A very quick response from Gavin & Wright and, despite their busy workload, they fitted us in and completed the work ahead of schedule for a fair price. Would happily use them again.

I had a number of windows replaced & Joe (trader) was very helpful in advising on the scope of work required & what was necessary & what was not! The quote was sufficiently detailed to ensure I knew what to expect, and the work was all done within my budget & on schedule. The trader stood out in good communication, sound advice & the care he & his colleagues took during the actual work to remove & replace the windows.

We desperately needed 12 new windows as most of the old ones had failed. The difference now that the work is done is absolutely amazing, we are just delighted with the look and quality of them. The process with this company was very well organised. Joe came out and was able to cut to the chase about what would suit best and look best in our house. We had plenty of notice about timings of the job and they stuck to it perfectly. Eddie and Willie, the fitting team are very experienced, reassuring, pleasant and hard working. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending this company.

We had new windows throughout, and a front door fitted and it had made such a difference to our house both in the aesthetic and noise reduction. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Having ‘shopped around’ for windows we were immediately impressed with Joe who had no a no nonsense approach without a high pressure sales pitch. His knowledge ensured that we picked the best windows to suit the house and the job has turned out better than we imagined it would. The fitters Eddie and Willie were great, so tidy and quick and they’ve done an amazing job of leaving a high quality finish. The windows supplied are fantastic quality and have significantly reduced noise that we can hear in the house. The job has completely transformed the appearance of our house and we are delighted with the level of service.

Recently had a new front door supplied & fitted by Gavin & Wright. I have used the company previously and was happy with previous work carried out. Information regarding a wide choice of door options provided. Colours, styles and glass options. Work carried out extremely well. Was raining on the day but G&W were careful to protect internal decoration during works. Highly recommend G&W for door & window replacement

Gavin & Wright replaced two large bay windows and one smaller one in my semi-detached house. Joe Wright was extremely helpful and offered very useful advice during the initial survey/quote to ensure the new windows met my needs. Eddie and Willie, the workmen who fitted the windows, were friendly and efficient and did a fantastic job installing the windows in less than two days. The workmanship is of a very high quality and when I came to have the windows measured for new blinds the tradesman praised the quality of the job and wanted to know who had installed them. Joe Wright followed up afterwards to ensure I was happy, and I am. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe and his team. Thanks for the great work!

Gavin and Wright replaced 9 windows in our terraced house with top quality double glazed sliding sash windows. The workmen Eddie and Willie did a brilliant job on installing these in 2 days ahead of schedule and to budget agreed. The workmanship is very high quality and we are delighted with the appearance inside and out. Prior to installation Joe Wright who runs the company provided us with very complete explanations regarding the pros and cons of different window designs. He regularly visited during the work to make sure we were happy. We would highly recommend this company.

We had all our windows and doors replaced. All the work was carried out to a very high standard. Workers were very approachable friendly and professional. I cannot express how happy we are with the work that was done. From start to finish the whole job was done with professionalism. I have now used Gavin and Wright twice. I used them for my previous house before I moved and it was an easy decision to pick them again for the new place. Work is always completed quickly and to a high standard. The installers and Joe could also not be nicer. I have replaced all doors and windows in my new property and there is a noticeable difference with sound reduction and heat retention. I would recommend anyone to use Gavin and Wright.

4 windows were replaced and look great. The work was done proficiently and professionally by the joiners who were pleasant and focused on our needs.

First impressions were very good. No high-pressure sales and no promises of massive reductions if we signed up right away. Joe knew his stuff and was very efficient in his presentation and measuring up. We had sought various quotes and Joe’s price was competitive. Work was carried out on the agreed date. Eight windows, back door and a ‘Composite’ front door. All Rosewood finish outside and white inside. Installation took two and a half days. The fitters, Eddie and Willie, were tidy, reliable and very friendly. The only ‘snagging’ that was required was a tiny touch up to the Rosewood film on the back door but that now looks perfect as does the rest of the installation. The new doors and windows appear to be very robust, as do the opening mechanisms. The seals seem to be very effective. An excellent job done to time and price. We would have no hesitation recommending Gavin and Wright.

I highly recommend Gavin & Wright Windows. From the initial visit from Joe Wright for measuring and advice through to installation by Eddie and William everything was performed to a high standard. The guys fitted the windows perfectly to the agreed schedule and were very friendly and tidy. We're very happy with their work.

I have had all my windows replaced in with double glazing by Gavin &Wright and I am extremely happy with the work done. Joe was really helpful from our first contact, he provided me with a very detailed and competitive quote for the work and explained all that it included, and tried to keep the costs down as much as possible. Joe kept in touch between then and the starting date, and the work was all carried out in less than the estimated time. Joe's team were very friendly but also professional and it was a pleasure to have them in the house. They worked hard and with minimal disturbance to me. They went above and beyond, and I am very happy with the results. When there was an issue with a tiny crack in one of the panes, they replaced it immediately at no cost to me.The windows are excellent quality and finish and they look great. I would recommend this firm highly.

New veka windows installed, better than expected , both installers down to earth and couldn't have been more helpful, everything was cleaned up at the end of the day, work was first rate. Would recommend to others when looking to replace your old windows.

Gavin & Wright installed our windows and doors after being recommended to us. As recommendations go this has been the best. Initial contact was with Joe who was very thorough and knowledgeable not forgetting approachable. Jackie at the office responded quickly to emails which was appreciated, then came the workers, and what a pair of crackers! We honestly cannot praise this team enough. They arrived early morning as arranged, kept me in the loop at all stages, worked tirelessly and one of the best bits was that they even tidied up afterwards, bliss! The boys were fantastic in their whole approach from the get go. Their workmanship was amazing and again, we can’t praise them highly enough. Total credit to the company. After all that, we had a slight issue with our door, text Joe and before we knew it the issue was resolved. Customer service was spot on. Can’t see us ever going elsewhere, why would we when we’ve had the best!

This is our second time having work carried out by Gavin & Wright and they’ve done another great job. They fitted replacement doors and windows in our old house about 20 years ago. This time we got a beautiful composite front door; French doors; and a new back door. From start to finish they were easy to deal with. They gave us good advice on colour choice, etc, prior to completing our order. Fitting was done over 2 days and there was no mess or fuss. The fitters were friendly, tidy and professional. Really happy with the service throughout on both occasions. Highly recommend this company for windows and doors.
