About

I have nearly 40 years of experience in the construction and fenestration industries. I was as a site manager for commercial door and window maintenance company which specialised in bespoke repairs and new fit for mainly high class hotel chains.

As such my work standards are very high, having to be reliable, punctual, quick, clean and very thorough to allow quick turnover of guest rooms for our clients.

My lead times at present are about 2 weeks from acceptance of quotation depending on materials required.

James visited site quickly and provided a quote within a few days. The replacement glass can take up to 10 days to be manufactured but as soon as it was ready, James was back to install it. James is very professional and always strives to do a good job and cleans up as he goes. I can thoroughly recommend using James and I will certainly be keeping his details. Thanks James.

Great friendly service, good communication, would recommend. I had to buy the cat flap, James supplied and fitted the new glass panel with hole cut to size and mounted the cat flap in the hole.

James was quick to respond (visit & quote) when I initially contacted him. He was very professional in his approach & honest in his assessment e.g. if window can be repaired rather than replaced that’s what he says. When the work was undertaken he was neat & tidy & the work quality was excellent. I thought his pricing was very reasonable & there were no hidden costs. I would highly recommend his services & not hesitate to use him again

Having used James for numerous jobs over the last 3 years I do not need to look for anyone else, I will always contact James first for all work. French doors have been gradually becoming more difficult to close, we were looking into replacing the hinges or replacing the doors. James managed to fix our doors and also fixed our back door aswell.

We had asked James(Gloucester Home Maintenance) to help us with a problem with a double-glazed window. He had made a really good repair on a previous job. This was a little more complicated in that we couldn't identify where an intermittent howling noise was coming from on another one of our windows. James methodically and with a remarkable thoroughness worked his way through the possible causes, found the issue, mended it and included some more general maintenance to this window. d all to a very high standard. We are very pleased with the result and will use his services again.
