Since 1928 Hadley & Ottaway has been a household name for removals, and in particular removals in Norwich. With 90 years experience, carrying out careful shipping, removals and storage services for some of the most discerning clients. No job is too big or too small for our team of expert removals staff.

At Hadley & Ottaway, everyone cares about your move. Many of the removals and office staff have been with the company for years and really understand just how important it is for removal companies to make sure that everything goes smoothly with your relocation. Our experience means that we can make moving home or office as seamless as possible, relieving you of any stress or worry during the moving period.

Our head office is based in the East Anglia region - this is the centre of operations as there is a dedicated training room, where new recruits and 'old hands' learn to pack delicate porcelain, barometers, grandfather clocks and pianos.

Hadley & Otterway staff arrived on time and were very helpful and polite on what is a stressful day. Nothing was to much trouble for the team assigned to our removal and all went really well with no breakages. Would recommend this company to anybody looking for a good reliable service.

They provided an excellent service throughout from accurately assessing the number of vehicles required both in terms of our property and logistics of pick-up and delivery along narrow lanes. Helpful staff resolving all queries promptly. High quality packing. Pick and delivery occurred exactly as planned.

Why would I go anywhere else if we were not more than pleased with their service. On time, well prepared, neat, clean, and courteous and polite staff. TVs, mirrors and pictures wrapped and packed carefully. Wardrobe boxes supplied for all hanging clothes. Front door protected as we're all carpets and floors. We have one more move planned so guess who we will go to.

Excellent removal company, couldn't fault them. They had three floors to contend with, with a huge amount of stuff on the floor. The move was over three days was very organised, minimal stress, guys worked very hard and just got on with it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good reliable removal service.

We had a number of changes to the timing of our move (the problem was exchange of contracts only 3 days before completion) but the company moved some resources around to ensure that our move could go ahead. I was most worried about my piano but the team moved everything exactly as they said they would. They were all very personable guys and good to work with. We had a little delay getting the keys to the new house but they were not phased and completed the job to my entire satisfaction. Maybe I could have got the job done cheaper but not to the standard that I received, so worth every penny to me. Thank you Hadley and Ottoway.

All the staff I had contact with at Hadley and Ottaway were polite, helpful and went the extra mile to make sure my move was accomplished in a timely manner. They coped with numerous changes to timescales and location with humour and efficiency. I take my hat off to them.
