Steve Hamilton, Hamilton Plumbing, was appointed to refit our bathroom, removing and replacing the fittings including the bath, the tiles from two walls, and the flooring. He quoted a price that after talking to him, we accepted. He started and finished on the promised dates, despite some unforeseen problems occurring with the original floor. We are thrilled with the finished result. The walls are now boarded with waterproof shower wall boards in pale grey. (No more cleaning grout etc.)The bath was replaced by a 1,800mm walk in shower tray and new shower. The flooring has been replaced as have the skirting boards. Steve was meticulous about the joints of the wall boards. You cannot see where one board ends and the next one starts. This meticulous attention to detail was carried out throughout all aspects of the re-fit. We are thrilled with it all.

Steve re-fitted our shower room/toilet, added a new radiator, changed our living room fireplace to make it more fitting to an old cottage, and fitted a wooden floor in the living room. He has an excellent eye for detail and carries out the work to a very high level of quality. He provides good recommendations to how to go about things and materials/fittings to use. I always found him cheerful, polite and easy to work with. He also showed flexibility where things changed during the job.

Refitted Washroom and lobby. Stuck at the job until complete. Cost was as quoted. Easy to get along with, diligent and cooperative. High standard of communication, design, construction and finish.
