We moved into our Grade II listed farmhouse 4 years ago and have always known that the wood casement windows would one day require attention. We struggled to find anyone interested in coming out to quote for refurbishment work...instead we had lots of "salesman" telling us that the windows were "shot" and we would just have to apply for planning so that we could have some new ones. That all changed when we met Ken!...he is a true expert in his field and an absolute craftsman. He is also a very nice gent!. Nothing is to much trouble and nothing appears to worry him...our windows were so bad that we thought one of them was so rotten it would soon fall out...Ken spliced some new oak and made a windowsill and then repainted...our windows look great and are still in keeping with the Grade II property.

We are extremely pleased with the work Ken carried out to a number of our sash windows. Previously these had been draughty, jammed or difficult to operate. Ken worked methodically to free up, re-balance and where necessary repair the sashes, cords, and frames and refit with draught excluding beading. The results are first-class; sashes that move easily and that are rattle and draughtproof. Ken was punctual, reliable and always left the work area clean and tidy at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

Repairs to a large window. Carried out the removal of rotten wood from four mullions and parts of a long window sill. Replaced with Accoya modified timber and beading sections to match, plus replacement sill sections. Applied Bedec paint to match existing finish. The work was carried out in a methodical and professional manner. The work area was left clean and tidy each day. Highly recommended.

Ken is an excellent window doctor, he lovingly repaired and restored our Victorian sashes, they now work brilliantly, are draft free and more secure. Ken is a lovely man and worked professionally leaving work areas cleaner than when he started. The only downside was a long wait for his services. We highly recommend him.
