Vimmy from Heating the nation came along with Alex fom Mill Build to fit a pressurised cylinder prior to us having a new shower room fitted. They rang on the morning of the job to say what time they'd arrive and duly arrived at that time, so there was a good start!! Our original tank had had a large cupboard built round it and they were replacing it with something over twice the size so they had warned us they might have to damage the cupboard to get everything in and out. Having seen the new tank we realised it was going to be a big job but they just got on and quickly and efficiently did what was necessary. They had a lad with them removing all the waste as it appeared. It was a full day's job but at the end we were shown all the work that had been done and given instructions on what we needed to do if the pressure changed and best of all they had put the cupboard back together again so well you wouldn't have known they'd been there. They had put protective film and covers all over so it meant everywhere was clean and tidy when the left. Excellent job!!

We searched the Which trusted traders website when we had a problem with our boiler and called out Heating the Nation Limited. The service we received from Vimal was excellent - he came to our house twice and was polite and helpful. He also phoned us before each visit. On site, he explained to us what the problem with the boiler was and carried out a temporary repair. He then called back with the required part to complete the repair. He also informed us about the price before completing the work. We would definitely use this company again because of our experience with Vimal - a pleasant and hard-working young man.

We needed a new gas fire fitting. The guys arrived promptly on the day agreed - they sent a message when they were on their way giving estimated time of arrival. Both were friendly and polite and completed the job with minimal disruption. They worked quickly and efficiently and were very tidy so there was no clearing up to do when they had finished. They answered any questions and it was clear they were well qualified and knowledgeable.

The guys came at 8:15 and finished really quickly. They worked hard and didn’t stop until the job was done. Can not recommend enough.

The guys came to my house today to fit a new boiler and the service was excellent, they were friendly and professional and did an excellent job, taking care and cleaning up after themselves, they were very helpful and kept me informed throughout and made sure I was well informed on how to use the new system, can’t thank them enough. Vimal is the guy who worked on Boiler services at my flat and he had fixed all the leakage issues, changing nasal pipe & coils. Impressed the way he identified & fixed the issues. I want to say thank you to him ‘ coz my power & water bills reduced 😊 I will strongly recommend and will continue with their services in future.

Did the annual service of our boiler and came back and fitted the Hive thermostat and went through it's instructions with us . Will be rebooking shortly to move 1 radiator and fit 2 new ones

Had a leaky magnetic filter in the garage, called Vimal in the morning and he attended to this promptly that afternoon and managed to fix, and showed how to clean for the future. Vimal has a very friendly disposition and is always polite, courteous and helpful. His team mate Craig who attended to replace an old Shower pump some weeks prior to above, was also very professional. Keep up the good work Gentlemen.

Engineer arrived on time. Polite, explained reason for problems. Carried out thorough cleaning, servicing. Soon had fire re assembled and restored to good working order. Now on my list as trusted trader for any future needs. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service from first call to work completion. I had 3 radiators fitted and a boiler service, from first contact to completion I was kept fully informed, and they did what they said they would when they promised. Very thoughtful and respectful of my home and the cleanest trades person ever to visit. Lots of really useful advice about boiler operation. Prices are reasonable and so good going to use them for a bathroom refit. Vimal was really personable, polite, knowledgeable and helpful.

Called Heating the Nation on Tuesday regarding supplying a cold water feed for a washing machine and to check the feed to a leaking dishwasher. Sent over some pictures of the pipework to aid the estimate of costs. Sent over an estimate later that evening. I agreed to the estimate. Said they would attend on Thursday. Turned up on Thursday and did the work as described. Hooked up the washing machine and ran a quick cycle to check for issues.

Heating The Nation installed a new gas boiler at my home. The service was prompt as I didn't have to wait long for the boiler to be fitted. From quote to installation, everything was fully explained to me and I was kept informed, ie what time I could expect the engineers to arrive and they arrived exactly at the time they said they would. On the day it was fitted, the engineers were extremely polite and helpful, fully explaining how to operate the boiler and I felt from start to finish that the service that I received was first class.

What a great service we just received from the gentleman. He was extremely polite and very thorough. We had a leaky bathroom radiator. Arrived promptly, highly professional and took the time to show key elements relating to the boiler i.e. important things for me to look out for like checking pressure gauges etc. Also very good value for money. Would 100% recommend and use again, many thanks.

Great work. Gas fire removal and capping. It’s a council house so we had to jump through a few hoops but Vim couldn’t have been more patient. The fire was taken out really quickly with no mess. Great price and great work. Would highly recommend.

Contacted Heating The Nation to arrange an annual service for four gas appliances, was told I would get a call back, Vimal contacted me within minutes and arranged a convenient time to come over. Vimal was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Although my appliances ,which are very old, took a lot longer to service then he originally anticipated, Vimal was very thorough and did not rush the job. Having had my appliances serviced for years, never had someone do a exhaustive job as Vimal. My wife and I thought the service we received was to a high standard, and extremely professional, very competitively priced, would defiantly recommend and use Heating The Nation again without a second thought.

This was the second time we have used Heating the Nation, with a full central heating update the first time and complete WC refresh on this occasion. Moved in to property 3 Years ago & noticed boiler was very old but working took out maintenance agreement with British gas came out three times but in the end parts obsolete as it turned out boiler was 25 Years old. Decided to replace cut a long story short B.G quoted a small fortune so was recommended Vimal he came out looked at the job & quoted a sensible figure, carried out all the work in one day on his own. He has been back and carried out its yearly service and did some odd jobs while he visited, perfect- wouldn't use anybody else now. Very good and knows what he's doing without ripping you off. Highly recommend his firm

I would highly recommend using Heating The Nation for all your heating requirements. They have done a fantastic job installing new radiators in my property, resolving a hot water problem on my boiler and completing plumbing work. I cannot thank them enough for their services.

I have been using Vimal for almost 8 years, I can 100% count on him to get the job done. He has worked on both my personal renovation projects, carries out my gas inspections and I can trust him to take care of any issues with any of my properties, even if I am not in the country. He consistently goes above and beyond, for example. When I was in Australia, I had a complicated issue which left my tenant with no hot shower. I called Vimal, he took complete ownership of the job, and when it turned out it wasn't even a plumbing problem, Vimal sorted out an electrician to make sure the job got fixed regardless :) I am a Regional Maintenance Manager and I am responsible for over 100 properties, I just wish all my contractors were as capable as Vimal!!!
