We are a a family firm of roofing specialists, established in 1961, now in its second generation with the third generation in training.
We are three brothers, Leigh Hellings, Glen Hellings and Sam Hellings.
We specialise in roofing repairs, everything from one tile up to new valleys and box gutters, new guttering etc.

We had our roof cleaned of moss and checked for damage. Five tiles were found to be damaged and replaced. As well all our drain pipes, soffits and cladding were cleaned, as was our conservatory roof. The standard of work was excellent. The roofers were punctual, polite and friendly and cleaned up well after themselves. We would highly recommend Hellings Brothers.

We have been using Hellings Brothers for many years for our roofing issues. This time we had a bad leak. They came and quoted and we received it that day. They were unable to do the job straight away but ordered in the window ready. They are very efficient, arrived on time and finished the job on time and left everything clean and tidy. They have done an excellent job as usual. We wouldn’t use anyone else to do our roofing work and would highly recommend them. They observed all the secure COVID19 protocols

Hellings Brothers replaced my guttering, lined the soffits with a PVC type white liner which looks great, no more painting. The guttering and down pipes are much better than we had before and are well secured with neat brackets. They also identified additional areas of concern that they fixed within the price quoted. They arrived on the day and time given, were polite and efficient, cleaned up behind them and explained everything. I would highly recommend them.

I first used Hellings Brothers in 2011 to fit a chimney cap. I was so impressed with them, I kept their details all this time. I have now used them twice this year for different jobs. Today they repaired a section of roof where the batons had rotted and also filled gaps in the eaves. Once again, they did a brilliant job. They are polite, clean/tidy workers. They stuck to the estimated cost, despite doing a few little extras. I wouldn't use anyone else for my roofing needs and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Even leading up to the work being done they have always been pleasant and helpful. A temporary repair as an emergency was done, fitting in with their business and even came back after heavy winds had caused a problem. The date I have given is the date when they did the permanent work.
