I have used Hellings Brothers for some years. They are by far the best roofers I have ever come across. Always excellent quality work, great service, professional and good value for money. I would recommend Hellings Brothers. Don’t waste time looking elsewhere you won’t find better.

We have used Hellings Brothers for a few years. They have helped many times after bad building works. They have worked various parts of the roof. The work has always been to a high standard and sorted out the problem first time. They are very organised, on time, tidy and very efficient. The quotes have always been accurate. If they haven’t got time they will help out with a solution until they can return. Will very happily recommend them. I even got them on WhatsApp.

The four man team was polite and informative, with clean and tidy work, and clearly experienced at roofing. We have used them before for work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We are very pleased with the work by Glen and Sam . They repointed our chimney, and chased in lead flashing. They also repointed the main ridge of the roof. The work was completed to a high standard, both men working on a very hot day. The price was as quoted. It was worth waiting six months from quote to completion as we are very satisfied. They are both pleasant and polite. Left the working area clean and tidy.

The roof of my 1930s suburban semi was showing signs of wear and tear and I had discovered water stains on the purlins in the loft. I feared I might need a new roof or a substantial roof overhaul. I called in Hellings based on their reputation as a Which Trusted Trader and as a fairly local family firm. I'm so glad I did. They responded to my enquiry promptly, came and inspected the problem within the promised 10 days, and assured me the roof was basically in good condition with just a few tiles, hips and bonnets in need of replacement or repointing. I was concerned that they had a six month waiting list - a testament to their popularity and that the three Hellings Brothers undertake the work personally as a team. However, as mine was a small job, they were able to fit me in within a couple of weeks. The guys turned up on time, carried out the work as specified without fuss, answered my questions clearly and courteously and cleaned up impeccably afterwards. Their professionalism and friendliness was matched by the clarity of their paperwork - a transparent quotation, proper contract and detailed invoice. A less scrupulous firm might have taken me for thousands. In the event, my bill was in the high hundreds. I shall certainly ask Hellings Brothers to quote if I need roof repairs in the future.

The 6 month wait to have Hellings Brothers carry out various roof repairs on our 90-year old roof was more than worth it. They did an excellent job. Work included repointing hips and ridges, replacing broken tiles and adjusting others, repointing and reflaunching a chimney, lowering the height of another chimney and leading over, fitting a section of gutter as well as general gutter clearing and flushing of downpipes. The work was done quickly and relatively quietly with all rubble swiftly cleared and there was no disturbance/damage to the surrounding garden. Communication with Hellings Brothers was excellent from first contact and dealing with Sam, Leigh, Glen and Ben was an absolute pleasure. If we ever need any roof repairs again we won't even think of calling anyone else. Thank you for exceeding our expectations and for matching our request to repair our roof rather than replace. You truly do your profession proud.

Ours was a small job but a very necessary one. Despite their busy schedule Sam managed to fit us in! He came on time, was so pleasant and polite and more to the point has done an excellent job. Site was left tidy and clean before he left.

Had to have the guttering and facia replaced on the garage. The boys turned up on time, smartly dressed and polite. Work completed without fuss and in a highly professional manner. Invoice as per quote given in January. Cleared away all mess (even cleared the old leaves) Were happy to check a possible problem with a house roof tile while here. Have used Hellings over the years to replace all the house facia and guttering. Highly recommended

We had our roof cleaned of moss and checked for damage. Five tiles were found to be damaged and replaced. As well all our drain pipes, soffits and cladding were cleaned, as was our conservatory roof. The standard of work was excellent. The roofers were punctual, polite and friendly and cleaned up well after themselves. We would highly recommend Hellings Brothers.

Hellings Brothers replaced my guttering, lined the soffits with a PVC type white liner which looks great, no more painting. The guttering and down pipes are much better than we had before and are well secured with neat brackets. They also identified additional areas of concern that they fixed within the price quoted. They arrived on the day and time given, were polite and efficient, cleaned up behind them and explained everything. I would highly recommend them.

I first used Hellings Brothers in 2011 to fit a chimney cap. I was so impressed with them, I kept their details all this time. I have now used them twice this year for different jobs. Today they repaired a section of roof where the batons had rotted and also filled gaps in the eaves. Once again, they did a brilliant job. They are polite, clean/tidy workers. They stuck to the estimated cost, despite doing a few little extras. I wouldn't use anyone else for my roofing needs and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

When I first asked for an estimate for work on my roof I received it immediately following their visit. I was very pleased when the work was done. The men were very polite and efficient and there was no disruption to my day.

The firm was recommended by a neighbour. Gave a reasonable quote for the work and were pleasant and helpful. Work was carried out to the agreed schedule and for the quote given. Turned up on time and carried out the work efficiently with no mess. Explained what had been done when finished.

They arrived on time, kept a clean working area and cleaned up at the end. The guys were extremely neat and tidy, and explained the work as they went along, providing plenty of before, during and after photos. They were pleasant and courteous to deal with at all times.
