Gary at Hertfordshire Driveways did a great job for us with good advice and assistance in choosing the right product at a competitive price. His team completed the work extremely efficiently and were a pleasure to have around. We now plan to use them again later in the year to replace decking at the rear of the house with matching blockwork.

We are very satisfied with Hertfordshire Driveways and the paving they have installed. After contacting the company Gary surveyed the property and helped us to make decisions about what would be appropriate. He visited a number of times to ensure that he had accurately interpreted our requirements. He offered a detailed plan and a breakdown of the costs. The quotation was the most competitive of the four companies approached. The team started the work on schedule and worked extremely hard. The guys on site were always friendly and polite and responded to any requests for changes as the work progressed. The work was carried out over four days of solid work and we are very happy with the quality. The site was left clean and tidy. Lee came the following day to make some finishing touches and check we were happy. All in all we are very satisfied with the results.

Just a few lines to say how pleased I am upon the completion of the paving of my frontage. My family, friends, neighbours and numerous passers-by have commented on how nice it all looks. It shows what can be achieved when a client/ contractor partnership works well. Many thanks to Gary for the assistance at the concept and design stage, and also to Lee and his crew for the interpretation and skillful construction work to make the scheme a reality.

Initially I was a little concerned as Herts Drives has very little online presence, but I decided to give them a chance and get Gary and team to quote. I found their quotation very reasonable and their method including working up scale drawings to be incredibly thorough. There are not a huge number of drive companies offering resin and after much research I knew it was what I wanted without paying over the odds for this premium product. The team turned up exactly when expected and were hard-working and courteous. They were clear each step of the way what they were doing and what decision making would be needed to get me the drive I wanted. They were clearly highly skilled and experienced. I have already received many compliments on my new drive, and it has really completed my house renovation. I look forward to many years of use on my new drive, and I don't foresee there being any problems as it is wonderfully done and very low maintenance. However, having the 5 year guarantee is great for my peace of mind.

From the initial quotation through to the completion of the project , I cannot fault Gary and his team. The standard of work and attention to detail was 100 %. The work team were so quick , friendly and left no mess . Well recommended by me and neighbours.

We had asked Gary and his team for a quote to pavine the forecourt of our semi-detached house (previously tarmacced) and to replace patio paving at the rear (including rebuilding retaining wall). From the first visit to give an estimate, to the 2-hour site visit to draw up scale plans and agree materials for the work, and the actual onsite construction work, the job was completed to the specification and a day less than was estimated for the work. As soon as the guys arrived on site they got cracking and worked hard all day - no apparent lunch breaks and they even worked on a very hot Saturday morning. They also washed up their coffee cups when we weren't around - a little thing, but it says a lot about their approach to providing customer satisfaction. Unlikely to be the cheapest suppliers for the work, but we were paying for reliability, professionalism, quality and speed of completion which we believe we've received in full.

Gary spent a long time with me discussing my options, drawing up detailed plans, and providing quotes for a number of paving materials to choose from. Absolutely no pressure. He worked hard to get a date for the work that fitted with my own schedule. Lee and his team of installers were very professional and experienced, working as a well oiled team. Very efficient and friendly, and happy to answer questions, although I didn't have many as their expertise was clear and they kept me involved with any decisions that needed making. The end product was way above my expectations, and completed well inside the agreed timescale whilst delivering a high quality job. Everything was left clean and tidy when the work was complete.
