We moved into a new house with an old back boiler which had no hot water. Ian attended and got it away but the circuit board was gone. With it being such an old boiler we decided to have a new one fitted. Ian and Nathan fitted the boiler in 2 days including rerouting all of the pipework and installing a new flue. I had contacted this trader in the past when I had a problem and although they couldn't fix it they pointed me in the direction of some who could. I remembered their helpfulness and contacted them again when I needed to replace the boiler. I am glad I did as they listened to the problems the old boiler was giving and replaced my boiler like for like and sorted out the known problems. The boiler still gave problems but with determination and further visits the fault was identified and the faulty clock was replaced and we now have a very warm home and plenty of hot water. I would certainly recommend this trader.

I had a Worcester Bosch high-flow 440 boiler that was 17 years old and starting to become unreliable. My wife and I looked around for a local Worcester Bosch installer and we found Hestia. Ian came out and looked at our problem and offered a selection of things he could do to help. I suggested that as the boiler was so old we should look at a replacement. Ian agreed this would be the best solution, but at no point was he at all pushy. Once we agreed Ian sourced a replacement Worcester Bosch 440 cdi and installed it within a week. Hestia’s work was first-class and very clean. Refreshing! We would recommend this company to anyone looking for competent and competitively priced heating engineers.

My Viessmann boiler was installed in November 2024 and has worked flawlessly since. Site visit was promptly carried out prior to the install. Ian gave good advice and outlined the different options available to me re siting of the flue, use of existing 3rd party Open Therm boiler programmer/stat and rating of the boiler needed. An estimate was given and I gave the go-ahead a few weeks later after having exchanged emails relating to the technical details of the boiler. The installation itself caused no issues for Ian and Trevor and the end result was a neat and tidy job with a working boiler replacing a much older combi. As Hestia was a Viessmann-approved installer my total warranty is 12 years for this boiler. In summary, this Viessmann is one of the best modulating boilers and was fitted efficiently by a friendly family firm.

Ian and Trevor quoted and installed a new Worcester Bosch 18/25 Heatslave oil combo boiler to replace the 20 year old boiler that had suffered a major failure due to old age. The quotation was clear, comprehensive and competitive. Ian and Trevor were doing a large industrial installation and managed to rearrange their work to fit us in within a week of quoting as we had no hot water or heating. On the day of installation they arrived at the specified time and worked hard and efficiently to complete the work within one day, we had two existing isolation valves that had small leaks on the valve stem, they installed two new replacement valves for us which we had purchased. They were both very friendly polite and professional at all times, they worked quickly and tidily and arranged for all rubbish and the old combi boiler to be collected and taken away at the end of the job. They have registered our combi boiler with Worcester Bosch to get the extended warranty and have entered us into their diary to ensure the boiler is serviced each year. Steph in the office is very helpful and kept us informed about the payment of the D&G contribution to the cost of the provided the invoice for the work. Ian and Trevor worked with a local builder to relocate and refit a Worcester-Bosch gas boiler for me, and link it in to an unvented cylinder. This was not a straight-forward job, as the house had a structural anomaly and an internal wall had to be relocated. They also fitted new pipework and radiators. The work spanned a period of two months to accommodate ongoing redecoration, during which their expertise and experience was evident. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Ian and Trevor fitted a Worcester Bosch central heating boiler three years ago. At the time we got several prices. Their price was fair and they gave useful guidance and advice. We have since used them for annual boiler servicing and very recently to change all our radiator thermostatic valves. We didn't bother looking for alternative quotes as we know they price fairly and find them reliable and professional.

After looking at what was needed - (gave practical advice and there was no hard sell for anything we didn't need), Ian provided us, the next morning, with a very fair quote, which we accepted. I must say I was very impressed with Ian's work ethic, as he never stopped in the three days that it took to complete the installation. All work was completed to a very high standard. Following the installation, Ian ran through the workings of the new boiler and said he was more than happy for us to contact him, if we encountered any problems. Our 12 year old Vaillant Combi Boiler needed replacing - and the sooner the better as we were without hot water. WE got 3 quotes to fit Which recommended replacements. Hestia gave us a significantly lower price AND were able to supply and fit within a week, so we went with them. We were very happy with the friendly, professional and thoughtful approach of the fitters. They got the job done with the least possible fuss, demonstrated the controls to us and were away after only 7 hours or so. We felt very confident in their ability and will have them back to undertake regular servicing. They registered the new boiler (Worcester Bosch 8000 Life 40kw condensing) for the 12 year makers guarantee.

Arrived spot on time as advised, the job was to remove a conventional boiler system and replace with a new Combi boiler. My main concern was wanting the pipes in the kitchen to be hidden without huge holes in the wall or the granite worktops hindering the installation. This was no bother to Trever and Steve, all pipes were hidden, no huge holes under the boiler, the installation was completed on time to an extremely high quality. A fantastic job, could not be happier. Nothing was a problem, both extremely knowledgeable and just nice guys. Installation was completed on time at the price quoted with minimal disruption and no mess. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We had Ian and Trevor out to replace our old system oil boiler central heating system with a new oil combi boiler central heating system. Both are very friendly and knowledgeable and the work carried out was to an excellent standard. All the old pipes and storage tanks were removed and new pipe work put in place with minimal disruption and the whole working area left very clean and tidy when done. An issue with how the old heating system had been plumbed in was quickly dealt with and full explanations given as to what was going on. Would highly recommend Hestia to anyone looking to have work done in the future.

We asked Hestia to quote for our new boiler and hot water system after seeing their reviews on Which Trusted Traders site. We also wanted a Which Best Buy recommended boiler and Hestia are approved Worcester Bosch fitters (as well as other makes). Ian arrived very promptly at the arranged time to give us advice and a subsequent price. We were impressed with his knowledge and thought it was a fair price for quality products and so we decided to go with them. A date for the installation was agreed at a time convenient to us and we found Ian and Trevor to be very hard working, personable and professional at all times. There was a small unexpected problem linking our existing power shower into the new system but that was resolved very quickly. We have agreed for Hestia to return for our annual service and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I asked Ian to come to my house and give me a quote. I knew what I wanted, changing from a vented system to a sealed system, if it was possible. Ian gave three options on how to achieve it. The third option wasn't something I had thought of but I realised it was best for me, the system and probably for Ian and Trevor to install. I accepted it (after another comparison quote as I had no idea what the work should cost). Ian and Trevor are really nice chaps, friendly and considerate of your property. They got straight to work, no standing around. Between them they tackled the list of jobs. They knew everything that needed doing from Ians first visit and just got on with it. The work was finished on time without any problems. It was all very neatly installed. Trevor did an excellent job of repairing an access hole in the ceiling which I thought would be a job for me to fix. I would highly recommend that you ask them around for advice and a quote.

I am so appreciative of the whole Hestia team's efforts to accommodate me by rearranging their workload, enabling my boiler to be replaced in a relatively short time frame. Trevor and Ian arrived promptly and replaced my old Baxi combi boiler with a new updated model without any fuss. The work was carried out professionally in just over half a day and everything was left clean and tidy. Both men were very polite, helpful and friendly, and Trevor clearly and patiently explained how to set up and use the boiler’s remote thermostat. In giving me an estimate for replacing my old Baxi boiler with a new Worcester Bosch boiler, Ian visited the house to check out the job. I really like to meet the person who is going to do the job for me, whether they give me confidence in what they are going to do or not. They then fixed to come on Bank holiday Monday which I was so grateful for because my house was freezing. My confidence was not miss placed. Ian and his dad did an excellent job taking out the old boiler and fitting the new one in about 6 hrs. In explaining the new digital controls I was assured that I could ring them if I needed to! I was very happy with their work and would happily recommend them.

Trevor and Ian removed our old back boiler and fire. Fitted a new Worcester Compact Condensing boiler. Alsoa new stove fire and stone fire surround. Very pleased with work carried out by Hestia. We have used this company previously and they have always done a good job and nothing was too much trouble to them.
