We are a local, family run business based in Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire. All our engineers are Gas Safe registered which means they have been certificated by the official regulatory body to make sure they are competent and qualified to work safely and legally with gas related appliances in your home.
HEH are Level 2 Worcester Accredited Partners. Our engineers have received training by Worcester Bosch to install and maintain their products. Because of this partnership we are able to provide you with their industry leading parts and labor guarantee.

HEH carried out a routine service of our gas boiler A post-visit text was sent to remind us of his appointment and the efficient engineer arrived within the agreed time period. We've always used HEH for our boiler service, and can definitely recommend them, and on this occasion an engineer called Billy he was fantastic very polite and respectful to our property, he did the service and explained everything that he'd done plus he cleaned up before leaving. We have just moved house and after 2 weeks the boiler stopped working🥴 we rang HEH on Tuesday the 6th May and they came on Wednesday 7th May to fix our boiler. I can fully recommend these guys as they are totally reliable, professional and extremely knowledgeable and do a great job. So good in fact they are fitting our new boiler on the 8th May, now that’s great service. Shout out to Billy the engineer who came to our rescue👍👍👍

A great service from the estimated to the completed work. Installers arrived on time and covered the working area with dust sheets, and asked if it was OK to bring in their tool boxes and equipment for the job. Once install was complete they had a good clean up. They went through the new controls and made sure that I understood everything before leaving. They were polite and courteous throughout.

Last week I had a fire & boiler service & it was identified there was an issue with my gas fire. Bryn was the engineer who came to undertake the service & he was professional, kind & empathetic. He explained the problem, the action I needed to take & the follow up steps. I took his advice & Bryn returned today to complete the fire service & make sure everything is safe. HEH have serviced our boiler for several years and we can't fault them. We rang to say we had no heating and hot water and Billy arrived, well organised, cheerful and ready to get on with the job. He soon worked out that the pump needed replacing, and he had one on his van, meaning the job was completed straight away. He was pleasant throughout , explained what he was doing and answered all our questions.

Our Central heating boiler failed, but it was 13 years old. They came to check it within an hour of phoning, the boiler needed replacing. We had a survey and a quotation within 24 hours, which we accepted. A boiler was installed 4 days later. The gas engineer's were polite, efficient and professional, and all rubbish was cleared. About 6 hours later everything was working and you couldn't tell they'd been there. I would highly recommend this company.

Needed a gas safety check in support of the sale of our property as requested by the buyers' solicitor. We’ve always used HEH to service our boiler as part of the Annual Heat Plan. The service provided was excellent the engineer was polite, informative, and very efficient in explaining the process involved. The certificate was provided extremely quickly which helped in respect documentation for the sale of our property and our move to Shropshire. My only regret is that HEH doesn’t provide a service in Shropshire as we would definitely want to use them. We would recommend High Efficiency Heating (HEH) and wish them every success for the future.

Our Vaillant boiler stopped working and the engineer from High Efficiency Heating identified a blockage that was stopping the flow of gas and we are now fully operational again. I have used this company a number of times and I like the way they always come when they say they will and they text me when they are on their way. All of the engineers they have sent have always been very knowledgeable and personable. I recommend the company without reservation.

HEH installed a gas fire for my mum on 15.01.2025. Andy helped her choose the fire that was appropriate for the room and easy to use with a remote control. Mum has arthritis in her hands and struggled with the old fire's ignition. The job was completed as requested, the old fire was removed and taken away. The new fire was installed in a couple of hours and the room left as it was found. Other than the new fire you would never know work had been carried out. Andy, Louise, Charlotte and all the team are always helpful (they have serviced my mum's gas fire annually for several years). I highly recommend HEH.

Richard and Ethan arrived to correct an ongoing wiring problem. Working together in a restricted access area was an unenviable position but it was done methodically and with a smiley face. It was resolved and is now working perfectly. A radiator problem was explained to me and a further visit in the warmer months to rectify this and to replace an ageing boiler is to be arranged. What great service is offered by Heh UK. Appointments were made and kept and a text to say engineers are on the way on repair day. Would recommend totally.

Had arranged a visit to get s quote to remove a non working gas fire as my father wanted to replace it for an electric fire. The engineer who came, Andy Baxter, was very friendly and gave my father all the information he needed. He advised that they could fit any fire we bought on the same day as removing the gas fire. I had a ceiling water leak, which was sourced from the upstairs under the floor heating system. My insurance would not cover the repair and was during the Christmas break. This was a business which returned my message and arranged an early visit to fix the problem, preventing further damage. The heating engineer who attended on time, he was friendly, approachable and positive. He fixed the leak, although the replacement part was not available and an alternative option was applied. The business had only allocated a small assessment time, but the job required 3 times that length. They adjusted their appointments to resolve my matter. A credit to the business and staff.
